Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact

These tires uses the BMW K1200S motorcycle. I travel around the city and beyond on all kinds of tourist excursions. With the power of 170HP in motorcycle tires are doing great. I went back to the Z8 after D. SportMaxII, tires are comparable in every aspect but the Z8 better behave with more worn tread. At the first set of Z8 I drove 24 thousand. km. on D.SportMaxII 22 thousand. km. Tires used on Honda NC 700X, ride mostly with rucksack :) and with full trunk Central so that the tires may therefore carry and grip on dry road or in the rain not missing ever. Read more Collapse

These were an OEM fit that needed replacing prior to a long trip so as I liked their performance I had the same fitted as a replacement. The only bugbear is that the rear tyre seems to wear out in about 4000-4600miles but hey ho you cannot have performance and longevity these days; if only they were a bit cheaper.... I like these tyres, the only criticism I have is the centre of tyre can wear through to the metal with little indication from tread depth. There's no tread in centre of tyre, my first set wore to the metal but the tread on either side of central area was still quite deep. Otherwise these tyres perform well. Read more Collapse

First experience with Metzeler, had previously a Pirelli Angel GT train. immediately I appreciate the increased stiffness of the carcass, excellent uniformity of descent into the fold. Near the end of "life", often during the autumn period, they notice some slipping after all acceptable. Read more Collapse

I recommend these donuts. Mega grip on dry and wet. Very handy when cornering - moto now I'm better off turning. I think that Metzelery Z8 won a test carried out by the German magazine Motorrad - the first was just Z8, second Pirelli Angel ST, and the third Dunlopy Roadsmart 2. Read more Collapse

Very good tires, even in the wet, but I have a strange feeling when making a turn, as if fleeing back a little bit, but it is minimal feeling, and I have them too in the second motorcycle which has the same tires. Earlier this feeling did not exist. Read more Collapse

I make regular shuttle (~ 90km / day) half on the road, the city half every time, more spin weekends (500-1000 km 2/3 times a month in the spring / summer / .. .). I found them very in terms of performance and durability. Read more Collapse
