Overall, not a bad performer. Lasts quite well, I've 6000mls in on them and tread shows not even half worn. Dry grip is acceptable on Tarmac, corners well and some quite impressive lean angles for this type of tyre tread. Off road it performs fair, as a bit of a compromise, it's never going to be as good as a full knobbly, or as a a road tyre on Tarmac so there had to be some give and take. The only bad performance is on wet roads, it's a slippery little bugger! Real care is needed, gives very little confidence in the wet and does let go quite easily. I'm running these on a tiger 800 xc, so a middle of the road bike, not too heavy and not making loads of horses but enough. I think as a summer tyre it would be more than acceptable, but as we're heading to winter they may be a handful. Compound feels hard and doesn't give and flex very easily. As an example, I picked up a rear puncture and although I knew it was there, the stiffness in the tyre side wall allowed me to limp home to fix it myself. Oh and if you do fit your own, prepare for a fight to get these on the rims, they are hard. K60 scouts next I think! Read more Collapse

I bought these tires on the recommendations of friends that I use the 50/50 bike on the road off. Immediately I am impressed by their road manners both wet and dry roads. off-road, they made things easier to learn. more grip in all a great tire for what I want to use my bike. Bike is a 600v Honda Transalp XL Read more Collapse

I bought this to replace a Metzeler Tourance and instantly noticed that the bike no longer tramlined when crossing over white lane markings or other lines in the road. Have done at least 4000 miles (mainly road) on this tyre and they look almost like new with minimum tyre wear. Read more Collapse

On asphalt never gives cornering on dirt need to be careful in the wet grass and undergrowth in winter, not being a pure tessellated has some limitations but it is a good compromise Read more Collapse
