Continental TKC 70

I used this tire while traveling from Mongolia to Ireland. I traveled through Georgia, Turkey, Romania, Hungary and across the rest of Europe. While most of the trip was the apron, there was plenty of off road / use of the rough road. I went from a road outside Tbilisi Batsumi which was a dirt road and true never gave me any problems. In Turkey, I found myself driving through a thunderstorm and the confidence that gave me the tires and the grip was excellent They are due for replacement soon with more than 11,000 miles on them and they are always stunning like the first day. Came from an Anakee 3 which is a more road based tyre to the TKC70, as needed a more of off road orientated tyre. Fitted this and its superb. Grip in all conditions on the road is excellent, Took it to the IOM during TT week and I didnt embarrass myself against the crutch rockets on the circuit they handle that well. Then when to get key view points to view the circuit on wet and muddy farmers fields the tyre gripped well and whilst the other bikes slipped and slid, these roud out like a 4 wheel drive. whats I never write reviews, but this time I decided to change it. I looked for reviews before you buy, everywhere I read that it is a very good tire, I do not know who's writing but certainly not users. Generally tire from 160 wężykuje index is to 190 but with a loaded moto swim starts from 140. Well hold on a wet but it was only her zaleta.tyre very howls both new and worn. The area also badly. Because of the very, very soft rubber, it is very susceptible to mechanical damage, wears out quickly. I've done on the 8000 km and a trace of her was not (Front was still pretty good) drove already on many tires, always on the same hardware and the first time I started Heidenau scouts, and you know what will never change my tire. I live on a farm in North East Scotland roads are very muddy but I also like to tour the UK a lot on an f650 Dakar, Great all round tyre even good in the mud and rain. Don't know about longevity yet but no signs of abnormal wear or cracking. They will make you feel more confident on muddy roads so be careful Read more Collapse

Better (smoother/quieter) on road than TKC80, but a little less aggressive off road especially in the soft stuff. Current wear rate very impressive, no doubt helped by continuous central band on read tyre. That with them happy I've now fitted to both of my adventure/dual sport bikes. Read more Collapse
