The Supermaxx M6029 touring tyre has been created by Maxxis to meet the demands of modern, high performance sports bikes. The state-of-the-art computer technology, Virtual Intelligent Prototyping and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was applied.
Uniform load distribution between cornering and straight line racing is provided by the FEA, which determines the tyre use under stress/load conditions. This ensures that while gaining a fast controlled feedback, even distribution of load is obtained at maximum stress levels under force.
Responsive handling and stability to achieve quick and precise cornering are the qualities of the Supermaxx touring tyre which features a unique profile. In order to provide tyre unity at high speeds, kevlar belts were used in the revolutionary radial construction.
Mono-spiral, zero degree kevlar belt was applied in the production of the rear Maxxis Supermaxx which is a full radial carcass. For increased stability at high-speed performance on heavier sport-touring bikes, the front tyre was equipped with a full width kevlar belt. Therefore, precise handling through sturdy stability and maximum lean angle cornering has been obtained. Balanced contact patch on the road is provided by the sturdy, ultra-lightweight kevlar belts. Highly adhesive compound and aggressive drainage pattern ensure superb wet road performance.
