Metzeler Tourance

I am really satisfied with a quality of the product I purchased. I drive a Suzuki DL1000 and I have an impression like Metzeler Tourance tyres were designed especially for my motorcycle. They improve a straight line stability at high speed and provide me with smooth rolling characteristics. These superb tyres are doing well both on dry and wet surfaces. They are very stable. I do not drive off-road too often as my vehicle is rather heavy and it was not made for such a purpose. The inconvenience may occur while driving on sand but it is rather not a big surprise. In such conditions I try to drive slowly and cautiously so I have never had any serious problem. The Metzeler Tourance give me an incredible sense of confidence on the road. These tyres are dedicated to Honda GL. I had read a lot about them before the purchase. They are definitely better than my old Dunlop Elite II. My motorcycle has become much more stable, especially in corners. The grip of Metzeler Tourance is great although it could be better on a dry surface (in summer season). The handling is light and precise, which makes the riding easier in all weather conditions. I am very satisfied with a quality. Council this tire even though my last experience caused me any questions because you open the chest for about 2cm hairline of a plug leaving on foot, to say that the tires had already done 10000km through part of Europe with extra bikes charged with not a few dirt on the shoulders .. the tire has told me that this tire was not the first time that happened ... will buy gum anyway. I mounted these tyres on the vehicle before my travel to Romania where they were doing well. Admittedly, they were not good in muddy conditions. However, I have been told that driving through big puddles (from small to 3-4cm deep ones) in heavy rain would not be a problem. The Metzeler Tourance tyres are best in dry weather. This is my second set of metzler tourance tyres fot my XT 660R. They are a good compromise for travelling on poor roads and tracks in countries like Morocco. 2000 miles of Tarmac getting there, 1500 miles on a mix of hard stoney piste and potholed Tarmac and the ride back. By broad cut tread probably good moves in a light field. Unfortunately, I'm not counting trips by curbs, lawns and directions to the plot not operate moto in the field and on the above surfaces and Road Tyre will do the trick. I purchased a set of Metzeler Tourance tyres, which I use mainly on hard-surfaced roads (both dry and wet). I did not have any problems with the traction even in severe weather conditions (driving through puddles and ruts). I am positively surprised :) I strongly recommend these tyres. Read more Collapse

Happy with the tyres but the front needed replacing at the same time as the rear which is weird as i usually get two rears to one front (I have factored this into the tread wear rating) so this made the tyre renewal more expensive so has to be factored in to the equation. Read more Collapse

Very good traction on both dry and wet asphalt. The tire keeps perfectly (to close) during raids on track. Perfect for gravel roads, even "granulation" fist. Not suitable for mud. Tested on a Suzuki DL 650A. Read more Collapse

I thought that all products manufactured in China are of poor quality. However, I changed my mind when I tried the Metzeler Tourance tyres. Thanks to the specific rubber compound the tyres are comfortable. The handling of my motorcycle has improved. The tyres are stable and precise.
