been to the french alps and back a total of 2300 miles plus 500 when there and the tyre still looks great many happy confident miles left

When I bought the Kawasaki ER5 second hand it had Maxxis tyres fitted. I had serious worries about the quality of the brand having only used established brands like Bridgestone, Metzeler, Continental and Pirelli. After having done nearly 5,000 miles on the tyres that the bike came with I have to say I'm impressed and had no worries about fitting another Maxxis to the rear. I don't know how many miles the tyre had done before it needed replaced but it seemed to wear well and had well over 5,000 miles on it. The front tyre has over 5,000 left I recon before it will need replacing. The tyres are stable through bends and heavy braking, and are good in the wet. I've ridden in snow and ice as well as rain, no worries.

An excellent tyre at a budget price. Use Maxxis on my GS500 and GSF1200, work well on both. Not a fast rider, but impressed with the balance of handling, braking and lifespan, from such a bargain tyre.

Grip is good, especially for the price. Tyre looks fine, but I don't do too many miles as it's fitted to a cafe racer I made.

im a former dispatch rider i usually run Bridgestone BT45's but had to try the maxxis m1603 at that price and its hard to tell it apart from the Bridgestones now its just see what mileage it gives but its feeling and looks good after 2000 miles if good will get another set for sure
