Metzeler Sportec M7 RR 180/55Z R17 (73 W) Rear TL M/C

always stuck to 1 well known brand, damaged a rear tyre and needed a fast replacement. Only option at the time was a metzeler m3. I was surprised at the grip and wear by it , so when the front needed changing I thought a pair of m7s would be worth a go. A great tyre, feel grip and wear. Used all tread on rear first outing. 4500 miles later 2nd rear has been changed and done around 1500 miles and the front is just starting to loose shape.These have been hard miles and legally i could have got more but the feel had gone. Amazing grip in the dry, allowing more "spirited" riding with confidence. Perhaps not the best tyre in the wet but still good enough to feel safe if you get caught out. This is my second pair of M7RR and a vast improvement over the Bridgestones they replaced. While not the hardest wearing, they're current the best all-round tyres for street use and adequate for occasional/casual track use. Read more Collapse

Great tyre, great for fast road use and fine in the wet too. Have done a couple of track days and they warm up quickly and get nicely sticky. Great tyres for all-round use. Read more Collapse

Are on the second return, good tires also used in narcotics track even a smear even on really good recommended way for those who demand stability and grip. Read more Collapse

nice solid feel in the corners no problems with traction with hard acceleration or braking. good wear so far for a good grippy tyre. Read more Collapse
