It is a successor of a previous model Angel ST and the update resulted, for instance, in mileage that can be even 30% greater. The tyre is equipped with a new tread pattern that not only provides a smooth water disposal, as well as large contact with the road. What is more, because of high level of stiffness and rigidity the amount of vibrations is extensively reduced.
The tyre can be driven even at high speed exceeding 168 mph. What is more, a special kind of compound, applied to rear tyre, improves the cornering action as well as its manoeuvrability. It can be achieved thanks to strengthened carcass. Since the very early beginning, the tyre has been appreciated not only by the drivers, but also by specialists from the branch. It was even named the tyre of the year.
Pirelli ANGEL GT has to be a universal and used on everyday purpose. The head of the tyre is created from the very hard rubber compound enabling to cover a high mileage. Pirelli tested this tyre in various tests, for instance, checking its braking capacity in aircraft carrier.
