Accelera X-Grip Snow

Hi. I must admit that I was a litte worried befor buying these Acceleras. I feared that because of their price the quality wouldn't be good enough and boy was I surprised! After having done about 6,000 miles last winter I can honestly say that their behaviour was superb! And that is both in and outside city. The only drawback of Accelera Snow would be the level of noise. It might be a bit high when traveling at speed but I don't think that it's too bad. Braking on wet surfaces isn't particular good either. I can recommend the Accelera Snow for people who are looking for cheap and decent tyres. Read more Collapse

Great tyre for the winter we've had here in the UK very mild only just had a cold snap so I can't judge the snow handling been great in the cold frosty mornings and on wet roads no issues with grip spot on at all times. Wear doesn't seem to be too bad hasn't lost any tread yet in the 2000 miles with driven with them a highly recommended tyre at a great price I know the more expensive will probably be better but these are more than adequate for any normal road user for winter use. cheap winter tyre no snow this year so cant comment on grip but ok as a wet weather tyre,i live in norfolk in the uk and we didnt see any snow this year which is why i bought them in normal driving winter weather they are ok you cant drive like a loon with them thats not what they are for i would buy them again just for the price Read more Collapse

They needed a few more weights when balancing, but still within norms. It might be hard to believe but I find Accelera Snow better than Michelin, which is four times more expensive! And that is in every comparable aspect. I also have a summet set from Accelera and I also think that they are better than more recognisable brands. Read more Collapse

Bought as was spending 4 weeks in french alps ...... put on octavia scout 4x4. There was lots of snow and was daily driving for 30 minutes up and down hairpin alpine roads. Never once lost grip so very pleased with choice ..... a littlr noisy but to be expected with snow tyre. Also very good value Read more Collapse

Places where I had difficulty in winter conditions before these tyres were fitted proved to no longer be a problem. These big estates with rear wheel drive are noted for not liking snowy/icy conditions, but these tyres overcame normal problems. I have been pleasantly pleased Read more Collapse

I believe that Accelera Snow is the best one in its class, no Debica, Sava or any budget brand comes near. Bought three sets, will buy more and will definitely recommend them to my friends. Acually, two of them already use Acceleras and are quite pleased as well. Read more Collapse

I had all weather tyres on the back through winter and the back end kicked out a few times. But the snow tyres on the front only lost grip if I deliberately tried too. For being a budget make, I am very happy with them. Read more Collapse

This Accelera Snow is very quiet and suits best an average driver. And that's regardless of whether it's city or highway use. I used them in the mountains in deep snow and they were OK. Read more Collapse

Better if it can grip bit more in wet surface. If I try more than 40mph in same bend that i'm taking 55mph when its dry it tries to slip side ways. Read more Collapse

Tires have extremely short life span. I used to use the tires at least two years. These tires were after a few months on the drive axle totally written off. I use a 4x4 BMW which occupies the rear axle and of course more on this axle me after a few thousand kilometers tires totally gone. Usually checking tires at random once or twice a year. In the case of the tire going down, I discovered only after the defect when one of the tires has come thanks to all-out driving down a layer of rubber ..nemluvím purpose of this was left vzorku..po or monument. I'm very happy, although the finite season as I started to tire 17 alufelgach is a car you can not hear :). Tires bought in November along with the wheels and the assumption (on Bemowo Warsaw). The service was very pleased. Much drove around town and out of town every weekend to land in the forest. Tires stick to the road base fine. on the road (Warsaw Krakow) very loud at an average of 90-120km / h (did not drive faster than 140) After the forest, the icy gravel road flawless. Donuts are good, low profile look sensational baloniaste not, in the summer I changed and I reached the front of goal to buy summer and bought new for winter, And on the rear axle I changed already 3 August season and hold great. Very good tires. Super holding on wet and dry as a test for them was like a speed of 120 fell into the pool (not depriving the well) to hold one wheel-opted superr.Gdy it snowed, I went to check and certify the very hard to be entered into a skid. RECOMMENDED TIRE VERY GOOD Read more Collapse
