Do you appreciate economic and environment-friendly driving? Yes, then the Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 is ideal for you. The modern design of the tyre reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. Classical, symmetrical tread ensures a comfortable drive on all kinds of surfaces allowing you to enjoy their full performance whatever the weather. This tyre performs exceptionally well on wet roads. Special blades quickly remove water and prevent losing the grip even when exposed to large amounts of water. Optimised tread, ensures better tyre/road contact, which results in its uniform wear and longer operational lifetime. This enables you to enjoy all operational parameters of the tyre for longer without worrying about driving quality and precision.

Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 has been designed with the use of latest technologies. Its innovative rubber compound helps to reduce rolling resistance, providing savings due to lower fuel consumption. Lower rolling resistance is also supported by minimised energy losses and reduced distortion, already achieved at production stage. Ecopia EP150 brings you not only savings and safety but also uncompromised performance and comfort in any situation. Quiet operation is provided by dampening design, making everyday driving experience a real pleasure.

Ecopia EP150 is manufactured by Bridgestone, the world's largest manufacturer of tyres and rubber products. This Asian company, established in 1931, currently operates more than 100 factories. In addition to its own brand, the company holds a majority stake in Firestone, Road King, Seiberling, Dayton, Gillette and Peerless. The company specialises in manufacturing premium tyres that have been appreciated by drivers around the world for many years. Apart from tyres for cars, the company's product portfolio includes tyres for: vans, motorcycles, 4x4 vehicles, racing cars, agricultural machinery and trucks.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I have been thinking about summer tyres for a long time. First of all, I assumed that tyres are not the element of a car worth saving on. After reading many opinions, tests and reviews, I decided to choose the Bridgestone Ecopia EP150. Positive results in ADAC tests, opinions of Oponeo users and reviews found on the Internet convinced me to choose these tyres. Now about the tyres themselves. The mileage so far is about 6000 - it is hard to say about wear and tear at this stage, as it is a low mileage. As for the handling characteristics, for the first 2,000 km the tyres performed strangely - namely the wheels of the car did not return to the "straight ahead" direction after coming out of a curve. This is something you can get used to, but it should not happen. However, I gave the tyres a chance and, once they had set, the problem disappeared. The tyres perform very well in bends, with no loss of control. Braking is very good and there is rarely any slip when starting off. The manufacturer claims that the tyres have a lower rolling resistance, so fuel consumption is reduced. To be honest, I did not experience any reduction in fuel consumption in my car. A word about noise - the tyre is definitely quiet, but the road surface also plays a role. Depending on the type of asphalt, the tyre can be noisier or quieter. All in all, this tyre is truly recommendable and I think that any driver who wants a premium tyre at a good price should turn their eyes to the Bridgestone Ecopia EP150. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I have to say that I am very positivelu suprised with my Bridgestone Ecopia EP150. I thought that only Michelin makes comfortable tyres. I bought my new Passat B5 and I had winter tyres on it in the size 195/65R15. I experienced a very hard suspension which is actually a common thing with those cars. I thought that I should better get used to that as I was not aware of anything that can make my suspension a bit softer. I bought a new set of alloys to fit them for summer season. After putting Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 onto my car the driving comfort improved pretty much. There is absolutely no noise generated by those tyres and the driving became a very pleasant. I judge them A+ in my Passat. I dod not test them on a track but still i believe that Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 is a very decent tyre. Read more Collapse

I recently changed the rims on my AUDI A4 and decided, following reviews and an ADAC test, to buy Bridgestones EP 150 in size 205/55/R16. On a dry road it is clear that the car handles very well and the braking distance has been reduced. On wet surfaces it performs very well too, no problems at all in the recent downpours. Very stable and reliable grip. Hard to say about the abrasion - less than 2000km driven. The tyre is quiet even at higher speeds. No problems in corners, confident handling. All in all, a very successful and good tyre in this price segment, worthy of recommendation and attention from people who like a quiet ride, as well as sporty and dynamic. Read more Collapse

I would recommend it to anyone who wants affordable tyres that do not deviate in quality from the more expensive Michelins or Continentals. The tyre is quiet, very good at picking up bumps, nice appearance, on dry pavement when braking harder the ABS does not switch on. It also works very well on wet pavement. I have used them for about 5,000 miles and they wear very little, practically like a new tyre. My next tyres will also be Bridgestones. I think that these tyres are a little underrated. I recommend these tyres to everyone, I am very satisfied Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I had a big dilemma as to which tyres to choose for summer. In the end I trusted the ADAC tests and bought an Ecopie 150. First impressions...the car runs like it's on rails, it's quiet much less sensitive to bumps, cobbles and potholes. The fuel consumption has dropped noticeably. I can't say anything about the wear, as I haven't had the tyres long enough. I think I have chosen the best tyres in this price range. I have previously driven on Pirelli P6 and the difference is colossal to the disadvantage of the Pirelli. Read more Collapse

The tyres are a revelation. Since I only do about 20000 km a year, half of which on summer tyres and the other half on winter tyres, I decided to invest once and for all. I did not expect that the difference between the tyres could be so great, especially when it comes to braking in the wet. To date, despite several emergency braking situations, the ABS has never engaged. Starting off is also much better, no loss of grip. The tyre is soft and quiet. And a record of range on a tank improved by 5%. Highly recommended. Read more Collapse

These are the first tyres I have chosen. Compared to my previous tyres (Kleber) they are really quiet. I don't drive aggressively - which doesn't mean I don't drive fast and dynamically. I often go on the road outside the city (about 1100 miles). As far as grip is concerned, they never surprised me negatively (I don't remember any skidding, squeaking, etc.) I noticed a slight increase in fuel consumption - but maybe it's a matter of engine condition. In a nutshell, I am very satisfied with the tyres. Read more Collapse

One of the best I've ever had, and I've always chosen top of the range tyres. The most important for me is: no tendency to damage the tread, and therefore are quiet (only GY NCT5 was quieter, and that in a smaller size) Relatively good absorption of small bumps, much better than for example the ER300, but not as good as the GY Efficentgrip, and interestingly it has less rolling resistance than the abovementioned GY Efficentgrip, which is the best in this category. I chose the tyres on the basis of the ADAC test. I am still impressed with these tyres. They have never let me down, even when coming back from a bank holiday weekend in May and there was heavy snowfall I was still doing 80km/h and others could do only 60 on summer tyres in deep slush :). It sticks to the ground in dry and wet conditions. It is hard even to lose contact with the ground. It works flawlessly with my Focus. I think it is the best choice in this size. Read more Collapse

This is the first time I have had these tyres, I was tempted to buy them because of their performance and the positive feedback from other people. The tyres I bought have already covered several thousand miles, comparing them to others I must say that I am positively surprised. They grip the road, they are quiet (if you don't exceed 90 mph they are very quiet, around 100 mph you can hear them, although I haven't found any more quiet tyres). So far I have recommended them to 2 other people - they bought and are also satisfied. Read more Collapse

I was looking for a long time tires, which both cost-effective and by its parameters are right - I chose the Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 and do not regret your choice. Tires uses a relatively short time (April 2013), but at that time there was no reason to worry and complain. So far I can recommend to people who are 'moderate' needs and do not want to overpay. I switched to Pirelli P7 on Bridgestone Ecopia with a slight hesitation, because I was not convinced by the tyre "eco". I chose these because I was looking for quiet tyres, pirelli because they were loud, and those in the ADAC tests were quiet with good driveability. Everything is confirmed to use, and the car burns on both 0.5 liters per 100 kilometers. Read more Collapse
