Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002

Sporty character and safety ensured on all surfaces. These are the key features that describe Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002, a tyre designed for the summer season. This model stands out for its excellent manoeuvrability and precision, making driving a real pleasure. With its unique design, the tyre provides excellent performance regardless of the weather and road condition. Enthusiasts of fast, sporty driving will particularly enjoy the parameters of this tyre. A unique, asymmetric tread and advanced construction the tyre enables smooth cornering and very good response during dynamic manoeuvres, e.g., changing lanes.

The tyre’s impressive performance in dry conditions is ensured by rigid shoulder pads and a wide central tread, which provide a large contact surface with the ground. A special, three-dimensional connection between the shoulder and rib guarantees a higher rigidity of the tyre and prevents deformation of the tread blocks. All these features contribute to better manoeuvrability and driving stability when cornering. The tyre also guarantees precise control on wet surfaces. A specially designed rubber deflector provides resistance to aquaplaning, and a wide groove quickly and efficiently breaks a layer of water in front of the tyres. The tyre also ensures high travelling comfort with its low noise level. This was achieved by using a special rubber compound that dampens noise generated during the operation of the tyre.

Bridgestone is the world's largest tyre company. The company also supplies rubber and chemical products, as well as sporting goods. This Japanese brand was founded by Shōjirō Ishibashi in 1931. Apart from tyres for cars, the company's product portfolio includes tyres for: 4x4 vehicles, vans, trucks, racing cars, motorcycles and agricultural machinery. The company operates 59 factories around the world and in addition to its own brand, Bridgestone manages the following companies: Seiberling, Peerless, Firestone, FireStop, Road King, Gillette and Dayton.

I did about 10 thousand miles on Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002. The tyres were fitted to a Honda Civic Type R. They are great on dry, grip is superb, however you have to remember it's a tyre with sports character, so in order to get the fullest out of it during dynamic driving the tyre may get the car into a slide, with superb grip, however. The idea is that when you drive dynamically, you have to take the corner as fast as possible, and not the tyre to grip as long as possible, up to extreme conditions, like touring tyres do. For this reason I would not recommend the Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 for family cars and hatchbacks like eg. a Vauxhall Astra. etc. Thre tyre is very perceptible in dynamic driving and this is the feature I appreciate the most. The sidewalls are hard and there is no swerving, it's very stable at high speeds. Low noise level, and great visual look! It's not perfect on wet, but you can feel its limit the same way as on dry. It's greatest disadvantage is its rapid wear, I only did 10 thousand miles and my tread is 5 mm on the front and 7 mm on the rear, and I drive fast, but withour exaggerating. Overall, I can recommend Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 as a very decent tyre. Read more Collapse

I own Ford Mondeo MK4 estate and I have to state with regrets that Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 is not the most comfortable tyre I have used till now. The tyres are bit to hard and it influences the job that suspension has to do. Even lower pressure around 2.2 isn't helpfull. Goodyears I had before where more comfortable. I bought those tyres I a size recommended by my car manufacturer which is 215/55R16 and they look bit like balloons. I can't argue with the fact that tkanks to this shape they protect the rim from curbs and scratches but the looks are also important to some people. Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 is perfect to use with low profile tyres. These were the only cons that I could find. From the site of the pros I can admit that they stick to the road as they were glued. The car reacts instantly for any direction change. Handling is confident, the car is more nimble then before. I felt it from the first miles. The ABS has never interven despite my few emergency breakings from 90 mph. In my opinion Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 represents the highest safety level. I recommend those tyres for big wheel sets in sport cars. To people that value comfort I advise to choose other models. Read more Collapse

This tyre is fantastic when your driving style is more aggresive. You can feel it very good. You know precise where are it's limits. It doesen't loose the grip suddenly. The same behaviour you can witness on the wet. The only parameters that aren't so very good are breaking on the wet and economics. The economics are very poor. You don't but that kind of tyres to safe or economic driving. I'm not bouying other tyres. They are perfect on dry, decent on wet. They have armoured side walls, the car handles like on rails. You can feel every inch of the road. I don't know any tyre which would be better to dynamic and aggresive driving. The tyres shouldn't be bought by calm drivers. The feedback that Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 gives will be definatelly to much for average drivers. I will give you the example. I am a experienced driver and I was making a fast U-turn. The feedback was great so I could control the slide easily. But when my friend (calm type) tried to do the same manouver he nearly throw off the tyres from the wheels. I wont give you his name but to sum up: Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 is not for every one :) Read more Collapse

I don't usually write reviews but because im soo impressed by the tyre i had to. So these are replacement for my previous run flats that i had fitted on my E92 330d coupe, and wow what a difference. Old run flats did tramline a bit due to the thicker side wall they were also loud and didn't handle well. These new Potenzas are pretty mazing handle really well, they give you confidence in corners i tend to drive hard and like my corners so i was looking for a good tyre that can handle that without paying over the odds, tread pattern looks awesome just in general the whole appearance of the tyre is very pleasant to the eye. I don't know how long they will last but having almost 300bhp in rear wheel drive car im guessing not long i will be happy if i get 6000-7000 miles form them. Anyhow i would highly recommend them, and for the price you cant go wrong. And of course service form Oponeo was spot on i had the tyres within 24H AMAZING !!! Read more Collapse

Most of the tyres I used in my life were from Bridgestone and Michelin. For winter I have Firestone Winterhawk 2 Evo. They are great. And that's why I chose Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 for summer. Because I have quite a dynamic engine, I chose the size 215/45R17. Every year I do about 25 thousand miles, so there was no way of buying tyres from an unknown company. The parameters of the tyres already speak for themselves. The tread looks brilliant. When it comes to driving properties, no corner is now a challenge. A 650 mile route on German roads was really smooth with these tyres. As for the local roads, you need to be a bit more careful. The most pleasant surprise for me was the fuel consumption, which got reduced, compared to 205/55R16 wheels I bought my car with. They are alsy very quiet, almost inaudible. I highly recommend Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 - this is a tyre definitely worth buying! Read more Collapse

Perfect summer tyre for me! Till now I've owned only a set of two on front axle and after two seasons I can only say in superlatives. Handling and traction changed dramatically in plus. I feel like I would buy a new car :) Quivers on the steering wheel that I encountered on previos tyres are gone now! And I have to admit that I tried nearly everything to repair it. It turns out that the miserable Fuldas were to blame. The handling on dry is superb, bit worse on wet but still good and predictable. My engine has it ECU tweaked a bit so it can cause a lot on work on front tyres :) Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 ensues the best! What I have also found is that the reactions for any change of the directions are instantaneous and the overall handling improved also. I hope that this state will keep for long time. I strongly recommend Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002. Read more Collapse

My car is tweaked up to 200 HP and 400 NM diesel. Previosly I owned Dunlops SPSports01, and the dumping on potholes was better but the rest is better on Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002. Traction on dry roads is astonishing! In the same conditions Dunlops were squeaking are starting to loose grip. The Bridgestones provide full grip and traction on every gear. Sprints from 0-60 are their distinct asset. Potenzas let me achieve 6,8 sec to 60 in comparison to 7,3 on Sp Sports! The difference in enormous. I can skip the fact of sticking to the road on dry and when cornering fast like being glued on Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002. The tread pattern is also cool. If you like dynamic driving, fast accelerations and a bit of adrenaline than this tyre will be the perfect choice for you. Read more Collapse

I wouldn't advise buying Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 any regular commuters. It is the tyre that has a lot of potential and It can only spread it's wings in a hand and feet of experienced drivers. It performs best when it's properly heated. My car is 240 HP Subaru Impreza and the first impression after fitting them was not so good. I had to visit a race track to become fully acquainted with them. After third lap the tyres were sticking to the tarmac like mad. Every lap I managed to do nearly 20 mph faster then on my old Continentals. And you need to know that Bridgestones are even cheaper. They are some cons which is obvious. In can't be the best in every aspect. For example Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 is a bit louder and it wears out bit quicker. Read more Collapse

I can definitely recommend Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 as I have such a set on my car. I did about 5000 miles on them and I can say they are marvellous on dry. They are suitable for light "fun" on the race track. The only drawback is that they are a bit too hard for normal driving, but for some track fun or fast driving - they are perfect. The fact is, I have 205/55/16 with a speed index W - up to 168 MPH, so they must be hard. On wet they are fine, but they're not revolutionary, you have to watch out because of that hard compound which is resistang to overheating. Very resistant to aquaplaning. Taking into account I got them for about 55 pounds per tyre, getting Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 was a great choice. Read more Collapse

I fitted these tyres to a Vauxhall Astra estate 1.9 CDTI... The car has standard suspension. With Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 tyres fitted, the Astra completely changed its properties. The handling on these tyres is very confident. Braking distance was reduced dramatically even in extreme situations. The car easily takes sharp corners and tight S-turns. . The only drawback is that you have to hold the steering wheel tightly when you go through flooded ruts in heavy rain. The car is a lot more "nervous" and "skittish" than on other tyres. On normal wet suface (without deep puddles) they behave well. They are also surprisingly good off-road. Overall, Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 are worth recommending. Read more Collapse

Apart from the sensational look of these tyres, or the tread itself, which is, by no means, the most important part when it comes to driving properties, I find Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 the best tyres I have ever used, taking into account quality-price ratio - and I am rating them by making over 10 thousand miles in the last few months (mainly in the city), which is the distance the tyre can be actually rated after. On such basis I definitely know one thing - next tyres I will be buying will be Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 for sure! I highly recommend! Read more Collapse

very good tire complementary precise system kierwoniczy sporting characteristics of the car and suspension, cornering on dry / wet I drive without removing your foot off the gas, the whole fun as any price they want to keep the car on track. Confirm speakers - hard sides but not felt dyskmofortem only as an advantage in running, especially when cornering. Max speed above 200km / h remain unmoved. They are tough, well-elect inequality but holes feel "badly", exactly go hand in hand with the suspension KYB Ultra SR in this regard. Braking without uwag.Trochę loud. Great dry air, is like driving on the tracks and offers good progression through the corners. Maintains control of the car in case of emergency on the highway is high that the Speed in city streets made now dozens of round ... They allow you to have fun in the mountain paths. Also surprisingly, the yield in the wet: aquaplaning nonexistent up to moderate speeds, cornering very well maintains his grip. Excellent noise, after the first 500km becomes silent. Great traction on dry roads, the car accelerates quickly and aggressively, sharp turns defeats like he was glued, hard breaks on these tires grip, and with a sharp braking feel that almost stands still. Slightly worse it is on a winding, wet road. Tragedy is not there, you just have to know when to take your foot off the gas. At the moment I have driven them about 11 thousand km, wear and tear on them can not be seen. The great plus for sensational appearance. Overall, for the price approx. 400 zł tires as much as possible in order, good value for money. Read more Collapse

Holds great tire for dry and in the wet. Aggressive starts compared to my previous ContiSportContact 3 is a fairy tale, very much stick with heavy braking a little worse but certainly better than the CSC 3, driving at high movement speed highway is a pleasure. The tire has a very hard side wall. The rubber on the tread seems soft but not too comfortable on Polish roads cracked. In the middle of the car seems to be hard. This is the ideal tire for everyday driving fast cars for strong of sporting or sports. Read more Collapse

Tires used in the Opel Astra GSI, very well stick to dry pavement, wet or coping quite well. After driving 3000 km, tires "tore up" of about 0.5 mm, as well as on the tire of such parameters is a very good result. Tire quite soft, what holds up very well in dry conditions, abrasion much less than the Michelin Pilot Exalto, which used before and after driving 25 000 km, the tires are suitable for exchange for new ones on the front axle. In summary the most recommend Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin. Read more Collapse

Since the wet I have to keep a large dose of caution (low weight of the car), so only "4", I'm not going to check extreme. Recommendable tire for drivers with line rally;) Read more Collapse

I bought them at the beginning of the season, drove 12000 km. Very well behave in the way. Cornering, braking and acceleration on dry and wet roads. The only minus is riding in the rain, or riding through the ruts deeper pool. Feel the water under the tire and the need to hold more confident behind the wheel. Previously was using a tire Marangioni Zeta Linea V-shaped tread and riding in the downpour was more reliable. However, all the other properties far better at "Adrenalince" Read more Collapse

Tire sporty side with negligible deflection and at the same time surprisingly comfortable with damping inequalities. For this value for quality - TERRIFIC! It's really good tires. Look great and even better ride. THE dry conditions are performing superbly. Neither pull away, neither the horse, even in sharp turns or braking does not cause then any problems. I have a Passat with 200HP petrol engine and front wheel drive, so the faster wet traction there are minor problems with traction. However, driving in the rain - great, aquaplaning is very late, good adhesion, the stability in heavy such as on the highway - excellent. Recommended! Read more Collapse

This is my first snow of the brand and I was not disappointed in their quality and performance. I bought because of the attractive price - so far I would go to Continentalach in traction can not see the differences, and Bridgestone is quieter than the Conti (premium contact2). I would recommend - I checked them during daily driving in city mode and when driving on motorways and high-speed ride through the surrounding mountain serpentine. They work great. The car does not move. It turns out to be glued to the floor also forcing cornering revenue. The trajectory is smooth and precise both facing the curve in the release or in acceleration. Even in wet conditions the tire from a feeling of security and it meets a lot in braking. Very little acquaplaining only at deep pools. The tire used for half a year, at the front you can see the delicate wear - related but with the style of driving, and not with the same durability. Sam's grip, however, I believe sensational. There was even a situation that (with my driving style) ran out of grip. Highway + 140 km / h + torrential rain? For this tire is not a problem. Dry curving asphalt as well.
