Continental 4x4 WinterContact

3PMSF

The tyre meets the European Union's requirements for winter tyres

Carries the 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Flake) symbol, which is awarded after the model in question has been thoroughly tested for snow grip.

Type: winter tyre

Class: premium - ensures the best performance and top quality

Intended use: 4WD cars

Tread: asymmetrical - consists of two independent parts, each responsible for different tasks

Sizes: from 16 to 19 inches.

Continental 4x4 WinterContact is a winter tyre designed for 4WD cars. The model is equipped with an asymmetric tread, which quickly evacuates water and minimizes the risk of aquaplaning. The tyre has been strengthened to provide excellent handling not only in typical urban environments but also off-road.

The model is made of a rubber blend, which retains excellent flexibility at very low temperatures. As a result, the tyre has better contact with the ground and better grip, which positively affects driving safety. Continental 4x4 WinterContact has an asymmetric tread which provides excellent control in dry and wet conditions. The internal area, with sipes arranged in a similar fashion to paving slabs, is responsible for performance on dry roads, while the outer surface guarantees traction in the wet. A solid central rib, which consists of massive blocks, is responsible for proper control. It makes driving safer and more stable not only on straight roads, but also on bends and during dynamic manoeuvres. Rapid water removal from under the front of the tyre is ensured by wide circumferential channels and lateral grooves. As a result, good grip is maintained regardless of the weather. Continental 4x4 WinterContact is the ideal solution for all drivers who appreciate excellent performance and who don't want to be constrained by weather conditions.

    Opinion from outside the UK

The last winter was not very long, but Continental 4x4 WinterContact performed perfectly. Thanks to the these tyres and to the traction control, driving up the hills on snow or ice was any problem! This tyres have perfect grip, specially on the snow – I live on the countryside and slush, mud or snowdrifts are not any danger for my car! These are not the quiets tyres I have ever had, but for sure I feel very safe and confident. I fully recommend this Continental winter tyre to all drivers, specially to this, who lives on the countryside. I have never had better tyres than Continental 4x4 WinterContact! Read more Collapse

Continental 4x4 WinterContact has very high parameters. I had checked reviews before I bought it last winter. I mus admit that most of these good words about this tyre are true. This Continental winter tyre has great grip on every surface – wet or dry, mud or asphalt. The only disadvantage of this tyre is thatthis tyre is a little bit too loud, when you are driving on dry asphalt. Read more Collapse
