Continental Conti.eContact is a product of the German tyre company and the most important parameter of this tyre is its low rolling resistance. This model is available in different sizes than standard tyres for passenger cars. This tyre has rolling resistance up to 30% lower, when compared to these standard models. The elastic side walls are a very important component of Conti.eContact, as they prevent energy loss even on uneven and bumpy roads. The designers of this tyre model focused on the economic aspect of tyres, but they also took care of other important requirements that must be met by a safe tyre. The tyre tread has an optimised structure. Its contour is flat, smooth and has wide perimeter grooves that secure tyre performance in wet conditions. It is worth noting that Continental Conti.eContact was selected as standard equipment on the Renault Twizy.
