I bought Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 as soon as they appeared, as the latest model. So now will already 3 winter on these tyres. I drive mostly in the city, from time to time somewhere further. Great city tyres. I drove 1 season on Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 and I am very happy of that choice. Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 is very silent and I had an impression that the comfort is better with them equipped than with my summer Dunlops. It is very good on snow and I had never had any problems with getting out of snowy road. You have to be careful for the slush on a roundabout as the car may occasionally lose its grip but that might be due to the fact that I’m riding a diesel car with a large engine. Very good on wet but quite noisy. No signs of wear. The only disadvantage is the price – I’ve bought some time ago and few days later their price dropped down at 30%. Another disadvantage is fuel consumption, which rose at 1L every 60 miles. Nevertheless, Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 is an outstanding city tyre. Opel Astra H tires in size 205/55 / R16 T. I bought it as a novelty on the market in 2012. Now it will be the 4th winter on the tyres and about 20000 km. Riding aggressively mainly around the city, expressways, highways, city. My impression is - on dry very good. I had the opportunity to go winter on the highway at a speed of 180-205km \ h (temperature of -5 degrees, dry road, a little more than let index runs the drive T) quiet confident handling, no beatings, braking too well. On a wet great, great directional tread water discharges, despite the 4 seasons you can go up to 120-140km / h during the rain. Breaking is also very good in the wet. Huge disappointment tires. I bought a "master test" and got the worst junk. From the outset, the car and the steering wheel slightly attracted to vibrate at higher speeds. For the second season I started back to the front. It was impossible to ride. At 100 meters, the car itself has changed lane on the highway. The manufacturer gave me money after two seasons of use and the more I do not buy this brand. I bought the Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 rather cheap, together with fittin in Harrow and straight away went for a return journey of 100 miles. Perfect, spring-like conditions, about 10 degrees Celcius and dry tarmac. It is quiet and grips through the bends. I had a chance to test them in a number of other conditions and i am sure it will fit the bill. The previous tyres, Goodyears, stayed on my car for five years, so I imagine they were to be trashed already. It also made me appreciate the brand new rubber. Overall, the Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 are definitely to be recommended, however not if you like to push your car to the limit ;) Read more Collapse

Hello,Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 are mounted to Octavia II. Bought in 10/2013. Generally positive first impressions. However, due to the temperature of about 15 degrees, thetyre seems to be very soft. Feel is also while parking. It may cause slight floating. But I think that the more temperature falls the more stiff the tyre is. Appearance is the plus, so is the price and ADAC tests in 2013. After the winter, it will prove how it behaves on snow. My car is Skoda Octavia TSI 150HP. I drove on ContiWinterContact TS850 whole winter season ( about 3000miles ) and I have to say that I am under a big impression. First of all on snow and wet snow my car acted superbly, very good grip. I was convinced by ADAC reviews, even due to the lack of private opinions cuz the tyre is quite new. I can say already that the Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 behaves rather well. It might be even a bit better in snow than on cold, frosen tarmac - you may find the wheels spinning and trying to find grip. And that is not happening with my car only, so I'm not really sure if it is the tyres or the BHP. It is good both in snow and on the tarmac. So yes. The only drawback is the level of noise. You can really hear the difference between the summer and winter models. It is not that hard to live with thought. Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 grips quite well and so they offer a good feeling of safety. However, nothing buys common sense ;). Now I'm waiting for the snow to make a proper test. Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 is the best tyre I have ever had. Bought them in Germany in march 2012, as a brand new release. Tested them in Alps and no matter if it's wet, icy or dry they are perfect. Especially when compared to Semperits I had before. My car: Audi A2. Read more Collapse

I bought them for my girlfriend to make her safe. I read reviews and based on them my choice was to buy Continental ContiWinterContact TS850. The wet and snow grip is simply excellent. The tyre bites into the snow like a panther into his food. Low rolling resistance, but it is normal in the winter segment of tyres. Good price, but not the best, however safety costs lot more than the tyres. I had Fuldas in the past, but Continentals are far better. Driving in ice is tragic, but no tyre handles on ice, it is almost impossible. I can definitely recommend Continentals, my girlfriend is also satisfied and safe :) Read more Collapse

I bought a tire because of the good reviews in numerous tests, I wanted some running in snow and slush, and indeed in these conditions the tire performs well. My only comment to this tire is the noise level in the wet, while traveling through a rain-soaked asphalt whether in the city or on the road noise is unacceptable. Compared to the Michelin Alpin A5 is Continental falls much worse. Previously I had Nokian Snowtech 2 and honestly all I advise against this particular model of tire - in all conditions evil. Before changing to winter tires with summer tires rode Nokian H which were quite quiet. This tire is extremely durable. I got it from my previous car (fiat punto) now being placed on up. Meanwhile four seasons driven (15 000 km per year incl. I drove on Conti TS850 (215/55/16) about 8000km mainly on the road at high speeds. Consumption can not (as Nowki). Tires are very stable and provide adequate adhesion even in slush. Could be a little more quiet. Nokia WRD3've used previously have been downgraded. Read more Collapse
