Cooper Discoverer A/T 3

Cooper Discoverer A/T 3 is a very good AT tyre. It has a very deep tread, which is easy to clean. Even in winter conditions these tyres behave perfectly. I drove up to a slippery slope of 30 degrees with no slipping at all. This must be why those tyres are so widely known and bought in Canada and the US. On wet surfaces they behave a bit worse than a typical summer tyre, however they do better than a winter tyre. On a dry road they behave great, as a normal summer tyre. Very good universal AT tyre. Cooper Discoverer A/T 3 are suitable both for asphalt as well as for a slight off-road. Naturally, these are not typical off-road MT tyres, but they still manage in moderate road conditions. I use them 80% on asphalt and 20% off-road. On wet road, accelerating and braking is proper. At high speeds, the sound is no different from a standard road tyres, I had fitted before. The glamorous white lettering only adds to their quality. Cooper Discoverer A/T 3 are very versatile. Previously I have only used MT or standard street type tyres, so these are my first AT's. Obviously, they are different from MT's and can do less than them, but on the other hand they manage pretty well, even on snow and ice. These tyres wear noticeably faster than normal street tyres, but soundwise they seem to generate the same amount of noise. I have tested Cooper Discoverer A/T 3 tyres on harsh Polish roads. They offer a good suppression of the road’s roughness. Despite having an aggressive tread pattern they are quiet. It is difficult for me to comment on the wear that I have got on the tyres, since even after travelling for 1.000 miles, the tyre did not wear at all. These tyres are not for climbing kerbs or posing on the motorway or driveway. Genuine hard working tyres for general off road got to get there driving. Excellent grip in muddy wet conditions, wet turf slopes as well as on gravel tracks and snow. Handle towing well too. Good value for money. Asked if they look good, don't care! Great on motorway journeys towing and also giving super grip when in rough terrain even with trailer on the original Bridgestone tyres gave far too much roll with the side walls giving and allowing vehicle to pitch and lean feeling unsteady ! A decent model, with a good price. Previously I had Toyo's and Yokohama's A/T tyres fitted, but Cooper Discoverer A/T 3 seem to be the best choice for people who normally drive on asphalt, but sometimes would like to reach out to more rough roads comfortably. Read more Collapse

Having always been used to BFGoodrich All Terrain Tyres I was very dubious in changing to different Brand but apart from snow conditions which have not been tested yet I am very satisfied with Performance and Grip . Read more Collapse

I do quite a bit of off-road driving (part time gamekeeper) in not too difficult terrain and find these tyres to be a good balance for on and off-road driving. Read more Collapse

I chose this tire because we often spoke very good value tires Cooper report and although I have done well myself. I'm on my 5 th 4x4. Well this is the first time that a mixed tire sidewall says strengthened with use city I see my four tires Cooper, a progressive and flank wear. This appears in the disappearance of the lettering from the tire and appearance of the white structure in the rubber sidewalls. Despite the problem was reported to the service of the seller and Cooper, with supporting photographs and detailed by an independent editor recognized by the seller finding. Cooper said it is impossible !!!!! And assumes no legal 1 year and even less latent defect warranty. This is unacceptable from a major manufacturer. Read more Collapse

I need to have tires with speed ratings of S for the summer period. I opted for this measure in the 275 / 70R18. 82.5 cm height of the tire .. Maybe a little 'difficult to balance on the circle. Good traction on dirt roads and no deep mud. The piece measures 1.8 cm., Not bad for a tire with a speed symbol S. Li although I would have preferred would recommend the Cooper ST Maxx but with the Q speed rating can not use it during the summer. Read more Collapse

Good tires, good deep gusset, fine tread pattern, comfortable and dignified on dirt road. The only flaw: to be the 235 / 85-16 is a bit of tread strettine, a middle ground between 7.50 to 16 and 235 / 85-16. It will be an advantage in the snow this winter ... Still great tire. Read more Collapse
