Scale of scores: Highest lowest

Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse is the successor of Dunlop SP Sport Fastresponse. Compared to the previous model, Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse ensures a 30% higher fuel saving! If we compare this model to the tyres of competitive brands, Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse features a braking distance shorter by 2.8 metres on wet and by 3 metres on dry surfaces!

Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse is a tyre that will delight drivers who value top quality and maximum performance on any surface. The model was made using a special polymer compound which guarantees a very good grip. The excellent parameters shown on wet roads are facilitated by the wide grooves located in the central part of the tread which are responsible for water drainage and eliminate the risk of aquaplaning. The tread features an asymmetric pattern which is the perfect solution for variable weather conditions, enabling the tyre to behave well on both dry and on wet surfaces.

Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse was developed using ecological solutions. The structure of the tyre helps reduce fuel consumption and, consequently, therefore limiting its CO2 footprint. This is supported by its aerodynamic shape and the compound that reduces the amount of heat emitted. With Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse, the drive becomes more comfortable and convenient.

Its greatest asset is its low noise level. This is made possible by the closed grooves located in the tyre shoulder, which dampen the noise generated by the tyre and at the same time reduce the sounds coming from the outside. Thanks to the flattened tread profile, the model offers a larger area of tyre-surface contact. This provides better stability and helps maintain the driving track. One interesting innovation here is the use of a multi-angled tread which, by employing 10 different radiuses, ensures a higher driving precision and results in better driver control over the vehicle when cornering.

In 2016, Dunlop Sport BluResponse was ranked 3rd in tests organised by ADAC for size 185/65 R15 tyres.

Dunlop is a British company owned by Goodyear. Its name comes from the surname of John Dunlop who invented the first pneumatic tyre. The company is active in many fields of the automotive industry and its products are successfully used in rallies, track races and motorcycle races. Dunlop is the main tyre brand taking part in the famous 24-hour Le Mans race. The company supplies high-end (HP and UHP) tyres intended for the most demanding drivers.

    Opinion from outside the UK

Recommended for drivers who have a quiet, eco-driving style on dry roads, and that is all they are suitable for. They are sporty in name but have nothing to do with sport. For a driver who prefers a dynamic and fast driving style, especially outside the city in wet, rainy or even torrential conditions when there is water in the street in ruts, I strongly advise against it. In this respect, the tyres disappointed me: at speeds above 80 mph, you have to be careful because the tyres jerk and rip when driving into deeper water. For such conditions, the Uniroyal Rain Expert is unquestionably better, which even at speeds of 100 mph cuts through water perfectly when you hit a rut, and on which I've been driving for 6 years and even with a shallower tread they perform much better in the rain than the brand-new Dunlop. Another area where the Dunlop disappointed me was the noise level, the tyre was louder than my old Uniroyal. I don't know what it's about, but the theoretical figures on the EU label's ABCDE indicators and 68 db are fairy tales. I'll admit that this is what I was thinking when I chose my tyres, that if the indicators show better performance in the rain than Uniroyal, and that they are quieter, I thought this would be the case. I have been driving on these tyres since March and I can say with full responsibility that, unfortunately, the label does not correspond to reality. I have a dynamic driving style and I drive a lot outside the city - to sum up, if I had to choose again, I would not buy the Dunlop tyres but the new Uniroyal Rain Expert tyres, which I have been driving on for quite some time now. I also have winter sport dunlop tyres, and here the situation is completely different as the tyres are really amazing. Apparently, the summer model didn't work out so well for dunlop. But that is just my opinion. Regards and best wishes. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I've long argued that you don't buy Goodyear and Dunlop (they're the same concern) because, for your money, it's the biggest scam. You might as well buy Chinese brands. And somehow I foolishly let myself be fooled by tests and reviews (including here) and bought a set of brand new (11 week 2015) made in germany Dunlop Sport BluResponse 205/55/16 91V (I can give you the serial numbers if anyone doesn't believe). I thought, "well how much can you make this garbage" I thought, "well, how much crap can you make and market them to people - maybe something has changed in them..." Well, it hasn't, and I'm still convinced. Why? Well, the whole set, 4 Dunlop's - which so far have driven maybe 300 miles, have not been "topped up", "braked" (ABS and ESP), have not been broken in. (ABS and ESP), not driven over a kerb or anything like that - have run-out on the circumference of the tread. The kind that you can see with the naked eye when you turn the wheel on a raised car. The result? The car shakes all over and the noise is unbearable. I will of course complain, but it takes 2 months to process the complaint. In addition, it does not include reimbursement of costs related to mounting and removing the defective tyres (about 60 pounds), nor the cost of renting summer tyres/replacement wheels (after all, I am not going to live off winter tyres at +15°C in spring/summer). To sum it up: if you have too much money and want to get rid of your nerves, buy Goodyear or Dunlop. Otherwise, buy something else... And for those interested, I can provide full purchase details, invoices, photos etc... Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

My existing Dunlop SP Sport Max was due for replacement. The choice was difficult. I wanted comfortable tyres with good grip. As I was satisfied with my previous tyres and also had a Dunlop tyre left on my spare, I ordered the Dunlops. Despite the many positive comments about them, I was sceptical at first. I thought it was a marketing ploy and that I would probably not get anything interesting. But here it is. After changing from winter Kleber tyres, it turns out that the tyre is softer, more comfortable than the winter tyres, and it handles better. Driving a car that is stiff for a VW has become quite pleasant, even on bumps. The VW dampens bumps well, it doesn't thud, it has become "comfortable" for a car of this class, and at the same time with a firm grip on the road - it holds up sensationally. It is hard to make traction do anything. No matter if starting or braking, the car sticks to the road. Tight bends are unimpressive. The car drives like it's glued to the road. Of course you can fall off the road, but only if you do it deliberately. The tyres are quiet and did not need to be rubbed in any way. They did not slip when leaving the vulcanisation or squeal like some cheaper ones. The ruts full of water, dynamic fast driving in dry and wet, are not a challenge for these tyres. I am positively surprised - even though it is only the first 700 miles. If it continues like this, it really will be an excellent product. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

The tyre is really decent, but... I'm comparing it to the Goodyear GT3 and Dunlop StreetResponse 2 (both 185/65/15 88 T tyres) that I've had the opportunity to drive on. In terms of dry and especially wet traction, the Sport BlueResponse is better. The word "Sport" in the name is a bit much in my opinion, though. The tyre is too soft on the sides to be sporty. After changing from the previous tyres, steering precision suffers considerably - especially when making fast steering movements. Before the car turns, it has to "bend" on the tyres; simply put, part of the movement stays on the soft side. As a result, the car is slower to enter a corner. I don't like this behaviour and I like it a lot. If it weren't for this shortcoming, I'd be satisfied, and so I remain unsatisfied. Perhaps the V speed rating (instead of H) would have helped, as the compound would have been harder and the tyre more rigid. But I must say that this is just my speculation. I have not tested it. To my eye, the Sport BluResponse is more in the premium range than in the sport range, e.g. the Continental equivalent was the ContiPremiumContact, not the ContiSportContact. Overall the rubber is OK. Once the car is in the corner, the tyre holds well. The entry itself, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

When looking for suitable summer tyres (Ford Focus Kombi ), I was mainly concerned with good wet grip and short braking distances so as not to have to worry too much about heavy rain on the dual carriageway on my way home from work. And then, of course, there was the price, which had to be affordable. I'd been reading up on a lot of tyres for over a week. I had Yokohama before, but there was something missing. In the end, the decision was made and I chose Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse 205/55R15 91V. After having driven on them for about 12,000 miles, I can say that, with my quite gentle driving as well as a bit more aggressive (a guy had to test what I had chosen), the choice turned out to be a very good one. It turned out that the tyres may not be suitable for crazy driving but they are not what I was looking for either. It turned out that the tyres are not suitable for crazy driving, but it is not what I was looking for. They drain water very well, so driving in the rain is very comfortable, which was very important for me. They have also proved themselves on several occasions when braking sharply at higher speeds. And they are also quiet. My expectations have been fulfilled. I am now looking for winter tyres, and these will probably also be Dunlop tyres. Read more Collapse

I chose my tyres based on the good reviews on the internet. I wanted fast tyres that would allow me to drive comfortably on the motorway and, at the same time, be safe. My subjective feeling is that I've been waiting all winter to switch to these summer tyres :) I have the impression of better contact with the ground and the car seems to be more sporty. Initially after the change I noticed a drop in fuel consumption from an average of 7.0l to 6.8l, but I quite quickly compensated for this difference due to the increased driving dynamics, which came from the fact, as I have already written, that the tyres grip the road better and allow you to do more compared to the previous ones. The tyres are ideal for rainy weather. One wheel on dry pavement and the other in a puddle - virtually no difference or whizzing at 60-70mph . On a familiar route, if the puddle is on the side of the road and I do not harm anyone, I sometimes drive in for fun and a rally plume of water :) Mind you, the only downside to these tyres is that they have delicate sidewalls and are easily damaged when sidestepping a sharp kerb etc. I punctured one this way and was surprised :) I recommend the tyres! Very quiet tyre. I switched to them straight from directional winters (Pirelli) and the difference in noise was huge. Earlier in the summer I drove on a set of Pirelli-front, Hankook-rear (newer). The difference between them and the new Dunlops is very big. Both on wet and dry pavement they grip sensationally, they dampen vibrations very nicely and you don't feel them even at higher, motorway speeds. Plus, the sensation of driving through puddles is great - you practically don't feel a thing :D. Rolling resistance is minimal, although very similar to the previous summer set (with a slight Dunlop advantage). As for durability, they're only nearing the end of their first season, but I had the tread measured this month and it's still 7mm, so it promises to last a long time. The only thing they're not great at is their appearance - they're not eye-catching. They are just nice, in a very standard style. On the plus side, they don't sting, and they fit in with practically every mid-range car. Read more Collapse

I was persuaded to make the purchase by an Oponeo consultant, and I must say that it turned out to be a very good choice. The tyres have covered over 10,000 miles and I have no complaints. My driving style - variable - rather higher than lower speeds, and the distance from point A to point B is about 30miles. The tyres behave very well both on dry and wet surfaces - first class braking, in bends they hold as they should. The tyres are indeed quiet, although this is difficult to notice on our county and municipal roads - only on the motorway could I find this out. After driving the above-mentioned kilometres, I did not notice any excessive abrasion of the tyres, even though the rubber is soft, they cushion well. The most important thing I noticed was a reduction in fuel consumption of about 0.5 litres per 100 miles compared with the previous tyre, the Continental EcoContact3, which is important to me. For the performance of the tyre the price is reasonable, so I recommend it. Read more Collapse

I drive about 30,000 miles a year in my company car, so for several years I have been paying attention to the quality of my tyres. I have used budget, mid-range and premium tyres and I have noticed that the price does not always reflect the quality of the tyre - once I got burned on the premium class of a known brand and since then I read the reviews and test results before buying new tyres. I bought Dunlop tyres for the first time, this time for a private car, taking into account the test results and I was not disappointed. The tyre is very quiet and, most importantly, has excellent wet performance which is one of the most important criteria for me when choosing tyres. Previously when using rain tyres I noticed an increase in fuel consumption compared to winter tyres. By using Dunlop tyres with excellent wet performance, this has not happened again. I would recommend Dunlop SP Bluresponse tyres to other drivers who put safety above price. Read more Collapse

Audi TT Coupe 132kw 180 hp Turbo year 2000 Hi. I bought the tyres last year in the spring, also the whole summer season I have driven on them and I must say that I am very happy with these tyres, because they work very well with my car. The car, even though it is quite light, grips the road very well and does not slip at all when driving faster on bends! When driving in the rain, I have the impression that the water under the wheels is well drained. It took me a long time to decide which tyres to choose, so I'm writing to say that if you're thinking of choosing tyres for your teletracks, go ahead and get the dunlop. In fact, the car runs like a rail, very confidently and they are very quiet, which delighted me. When it's winter time I regretfully change to winter tyres and look forward to wearing them again and enjoying the ride! If you are undecided, I guarantee that you will be pleased with the Dunlop Sport Bluresponse. Read more Collapse

The choice for these tyres was made through feedback from other drivers on this site. It was a bit risky, but the risk paid off. The tyres surprised me after the first few metres with their low rolling resistance when approaching traffic lights - I had to brake much harder as the car just kept going and going. They dampen vibrations very well because of their "softness". As for the road, they are quiet, the car smokes 0.5l/100km less - previously I had 215 tyres and now I have 205. I would not be myself if I did not complain about something. This tyre is not suitable for crazy driving, during sudden manoeuvres I have the feeling that the car is floating slightly, and during sharp turns I have the impression that the tyre escapes to the side and I am driving on the rim, but it holds like glued. With my previous Firestones, these Blueresponse are sensational. I would buy them again and sincerely recommend them. Read more Collapse

I appreciate Dunlop from motorbike tyres, I have ridden several sets and they were OK. I was tempted to buy these tyres because of the many positive reviews. However, the tyres are average. First of all, in this size there are only 4 guide strips, the previous Bridgestones had 6. They lose grip very easily when starting off in the dry, you can't use the power of the car, the same when braking, the previous ones didn't have this. I thought they would wear out, but no. They have a predictable transition into a skid and they definitely lose grip later, you have to get used to it. Alpine serpentines, pretty good but the front end starts to grind. On steep rocky roads it is a disaster, impossible to move, only releasing the air helped. Tyres generally for highway rolling, not worth the money. No noticeable reduction in fuel consumption. Hopefully they will not deform in 2 years, because they are eco-friendly. Read more Collapse

I have never owned tyres like these. No matter if it's wet or dry the tyres stick to the road. The tyres are also really quiet and this is certainly due to the closed grooves in the tyre which are responsible for reducing and dampening the noise. I drove into puddles at higher speeds and found that there was no loss of control effect, as with most tyres there is a cushion under the tyre and the tyre behaves like on ice. I also felt a little bit in my wallet when I refuel, it seems that I do more miles on these tyres than on previous tyres. Previously, I used to do from one refueling to the next about 400 and now I do 500 miles and it is not that I refuel more, but as always until the gun goes off. I had mixed feelings about the tyres, because a tyre is a tyre and what is it supposed to do "is to be on the rim and roll", but my thinking has really changed and I am really positively surprised. Hello all. I recently changed my old continental195/55/R15 tyres (2004)to blueresponse 195/60/R15 in my 323F BA. I did not do much on them, but after changing to dunlop, driving comfort is completely different. The car flows, bumps are perfectly dampened. I am shocked that so much can depend on the tyre. High profile tyres (60) so they look like a balloon but it is the comfort and safety that counts, not the appearance when it comes to tyres. The car is also much quieter. It's hard to say about the fuel consumption, I haven't done enough km. Used tires are sold for 100zł /piece and more. You add the second amount of money and you have new, even, non-repaired tyres. I sold my old tires for a pittance, so I only added a little to the new ones in comparison to the used ones. From the point of view of time I will not buy used tires again. In my opinion, the choice was the right one. Read more Collapse

I had been using Goodyears for years, and Continentals before that. I came to my senses after the GY's were too noisy and constantly punctured. The choice was difficult but I decided to try the Dunlop. After more than 4000 miles (not many, but you can already form an opinion), I can say that I made the right choice. The advantages compared to the Goodyear Excellence: - rolling resistance - lower - my consumption has dropped by 0.8 litres per a 100 miles - loudness - a noticeable drop in the noise level of the tyres (i.e. the manufacturer's data on dB are true, not overstated) - braking distance - comparable to Goodyear - both wet and dry, you can notice a little bit more stability on wet ground - price - for the same size 3 years ago I paid 20 pounds more for Goodyears than this year for Dunlops. - appearance - I don't judge - because it's a matter of taste - for me both are OK Read more Collapse

I had previously been riding on Dunlop Fastresponse tyres. After one tyre was punctured I decided to buy new tyres, looking for Dunlop tyres once again. I drove 7000 km on them. What bothered me at first was the softness of the tyre. Compared to the previous tyres, you can clearly feel that the tyre is softer. My first thought was that it would wear quickly. However, after fitting the tyres, my fears proved to be wrong. The tyre handles very well on both dry and wet roads. While driving the car does not float in corners, and on the motorway at 140km/h the tyre is quiet and stable. The only drawback is in deeper mud, where you have to operate the accelerator gently and not jerk. But you can't expect a summer car tyre to be perfect at getting out of mud. If I had to recommend a tyre, I would definitely say yes to the DUNLOP SPORT BLURESPONSE, they are almost perfect. Read more Collapse

Tyres purchased in August 2014. 27000km driven. Tyres have about 40% tread at this moment. Quiet tyres, nice in the dry, but after 20000km in the wet even still not bad, but in a large puddle they get a bit wonky. The wear seems a bit high, as I mainly drive on the German and French motorways. In general, the tyre can be recommended, as the handling characteristics are very good, but the previous Continental was in my opinion a little better and more durable, but maybe this is an illusion. For my mileage (100,000 km per year), I practically change my tyres every season, so whether continental, dunlop or pirelli, after 40-45tys km they have enough. The tyre is nothing special, just good, solid rubber. Surprisingly, a friend persuaded me to get a Matador winter tyre, which he put on at the end of January 2014, and which has done around 15,000 km so far this winter. Read more Collapse

I've driven about 30,000 miles so I can say something and I would give it the maximum rating if it weren't for an incident during a sudden turn at max speed of 40 such a little moose test where I had a gunshot that was considered by the manufacturer as a mechanical failure which is good that I didn't kill myself because they would still question the rating that it wasn't the tyre's fault even though it was on a flat straight road with no additional elements such as shiny reflectors or something else. So if you drive slowly I recommend it because you probably will not have such situations, but if you drive dynamically I CATEGORICALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT because health is more important. I had a similar incident on Brisgestone ER300's but I did not have such a situation maybe because these were Run flats. Read more Collapse

I use the tyres equally in and out of town. A company car but a moderate driving style. The tyre meets expectations, comfortable but stable and predictable both when driving straight ahead, in corners, and when braking. Gives a feeling of safety. I have previously used Bridgestone Potenza 235/50R17 (great for very fast cornering but a bit hard), then Dunlop SP Sport01 235/50R17 (slightly inferior to Bridgestone in corners but much more comfortable, much cheaper, and you can enter corners quickly instead of very quickly :)). Then in size 205/55/R16 Conti Sport Contact 5 (at motorway speeds, in fast corners and in unpredictable manoeuvres they seemed unstable and did not give such a feeling of safety as the Dunlop, hence the choice fell again on the Dunlop, this time SP Sport Blueresponse. I have spent the same amount of money before on generic tyres bought in the local garage and I have had to replace these after a year. I have had some good distance covered on these Dunlops and I'm delighted to say they are hands down the best I've ever driven on. Braking has improved so much and the wear on them is extremely uniform and slow. They produce basically no noise even on rough terrain and have fantastic grip even on loose chippings. I was slightly worried that a summer tyre might not suit Ireland for the winter months but they out performed other tyres I've used during these months and get even better with the warmer/drier weather. I will definitely be buying from here again and recommending everyone I know to do the same. Read more Collapse

These tyres are really, really good work. In general, I do not recommend Nokian summer tyres (winter tyres are great), they are noisy and uncomfortable. I put on Dunlop and it was immediately different, quiet and comfortable, very good at picking up small bumps. On wet pavement a revelation. The steering straight ahead is ok, and the handling in bends is also above average, despite the fact that the tyre is designed for quiet driving. I can't comment on the durability of the tyre, as I haven't driven very many kilometres (about 15,000) so far and I can't see any excessive wear. A.... The tyres are highly recommended, as they perform very well in various weather conditions. The consistency of the rubber mass from which they are made is also a big plus, as the tyres are not hard and I think this also has a positive effect on the suspension of our car. The design of the tread allows for good drainage of water, which in rainy conditions is very beneficial when braking. Although it is not winter yet and the tyres I am describing are summer tyres, I have noticed that even at lower temperatures the rubber does not change its consistency. I can therefore in good conscience recommend these tyres, which were personally recommended to me by a friend who used to ride Dunlop tyres on Taxi. Best regards Read more Collapse

I bought Dunlop BlueResponse tyres because I was seduced by the advertised fuel economy and the modern compound used in their manufacture. I was also attracted by the low noise level. With regard to noise and fuel consumption, it is difficult for me to say, as I have bought only 2 for the front so far. All I can say is that you cannot hear rolling. However, I can recommend the tyres in terms of grip. I have braked hard a few times. They convinced me. I will not comment on the other characteristics of grip, as I drive a van (Citroen C8) and therefore do not drive crazy. PS. For the rear, I will probably buy tyres with a traditional tread depth (8 mm), as the 5 or 6 mm for the new Dunlop do not convince me as much Read more Collapse

It took me a long time to think about buying these tyres, as I have a 2000 Passat, so I wasn't sure if it made sense to buy such expensive tyres that would exceed the value of the car:)... Nevertheless, I bought them and I am very impressed. The tyre grips the wet road like it is glued to the asphalt. Curves on wet pavement are a pleasure. I use the tyre mainly on the motorway and I must say that it is very quiet. On dry roads, it is fantastic! When it comes to fuel consumption, I thought it would be better. The fuel consumption is lower but not as low as I had imagined. It is a pleasure to drive on these tyres, especially on wet roads. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND - even for old cars - it gives them a second youth! Read more Collapse

The tyres are highly recommended. First of all, after fitting them, the interior of the car is incredibly quiet. Previous Goodyear Vector 5+ tyres "howled" as if all hub bearings in a car were damaged. Here you can only hear the engine and the wind noise :) As far as fuel consumption is concerned - there is a saving. The fuel consumption dropped by approx. 1 to 1.5 litres per 100 km. Tyre grip and cornering "hold" are also at a very high level. The information about "run-out" and balancing problems is not true for me - the tyres also work very well at motorway speeds. The fact that the tyres are manufactured in our country is also a big plus. In general, I can recommend them with a clear conscience. Read more Collapse

I purchased these tyres at the start of the season and have no regrets. I previously drove on Dunlop winter tyres and they were sensational. I got the winter tyres as a set when buying a new car. I compare the Blueresponses to the Michelin Energy Saver and they are much quieter and I have the impression that the car rolls more easily. After 30,000 miles I have never had a flat tire. You can't see the tyres wearing down too much. When it comes to driving on wet pavement, the tyres also perform superbly. I am not afraid of taking bends, and my car is a Toyota Avensis Verso with 6 people on board at all times. The tyres are worth recommending. If I were to buy new tyres, I would also buy Dunlop. size 225/50 R17 98W, driven >10,000 km in summer conditions. After the noisy Yokohama, I feel like I'm floating. Very quiet, handles dry surfaces incredibly well. There wasn't much wet this summer so impressions were few but I didn't notice anything worrying. It would be ideal BUT you only experience all these benefits after driving off the tyre. The tyres come apart on the rim after a few tens of kilometres. The steering wheel vibrates constantly. They lose their shape. After balancing to 0, you can still see that they wave to the side and are egg-shaped. Placing the tyres on the rim is a miracle. They only last for a few dozen kilometres after leaving the tyre specialist. Read more Collapse

Dunlop is a well-established brand, so when looking for tyres, I was guided by the name. Unfortunately, the model I purchased did not meet my expectations. Even when inflated to a pressure above the required level, the tyres look like underinflated tyres ("balloons"). On winter tyres of the Wanli brand, the car burned approx. 1l/100km less fuel in autumn and winter. I should mention that I tested the car without using the air conditioning on warm days. However, an affordable price is an advantage. Generally, I am sorry to say that this model of tyre did not work in my case, but I still say that Dunlop is a recognized brand. Regards. I have Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse from April 2013 and I have to admit that they surprised me pleasantly. I was a little worried by selecting Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse because it is new on the market and we all know how it happens sometimes. Recently I had an emergency braking on dry surface, the brake was pressed to the ground and with all the strength tyres made a sound only once at the end of braking, I thought something was wrong and went to the station to examine brakes, it turned out that everything is normal. Certainly braking on dry surface on Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse I estimate at 6 +. Read more Collapse

Quiet and comfortable, there is nothink wrong with the tyres. In contrast, rolling resistance is a different story.Tyres with index B for fuel consumption takes average 0.5l of petrol more than a tyre with an index E regardless of whether the city or the route. So in my opinion there must be somethink wrong with the Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse becouse even on Michelin winter tyres car uses less petrol than on Dunlops. I'm very satisfied up to now, albeit I haven't covered much mileage since the tyres were fitted. They are very quiet compared to the Michelins previously fitted. One criticism is that they need warming up to reach their best performance. When cold, the tyres retain a flat spot after overnight parking. I used to buy part worn tires but never again they are a false economy. I bought these tires 14 months ago before driving thousands of miles round Spain and back home again these tyres still have more tread than part worn I used to buy. It is a no brainer I will never buy part worn again. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Very well made tyre, quieter than I expected. Roadholding excellent, handles well in dry and wet conditions. Exemplary braking. Driving comfort at a high level. I don't know about wear, but I don't do much mileage, so I'm not worried... To sum up, I highly recommend Read more Collapse

Worst ever tyre for wear and feathering grip runs out disproportionally with wear. Never had tyres feather before and the tracking is perfect. Never had tyres run out so quick original tyres lasted 45k miles these only 20k miles. Very disappointed for cost. Read more Collapse

Bought these having had SP 4 winter tyres for last two seasons.. These have great road holding and very good in the wet. Highly recommended. Will swap back to SP 4 soon for the winter, so would hope to get at least another 2 summers out of these. Read more Collapse

I used to use another high quality brand tyre. Since I've been using the Dunlops, I've noted better fuel economy and it is a much quieter drive than my original tyres. I'm more than happy to use these tyres again. Read more Collapse
