Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3

I wanted to leave feedback later but I had a couple of occurences after which I am really amazed. Recently, while driving along a curvy road relatively fast (70- 75 MPH) I overlooked one turn but the tyres mainteined the vehicle on the road. A few days ago pedestrian entered suddenly on the road in a front of my car when I was driving quite quick (about 55 MPH). I pressed on the brake and the car stopped almost immediately without any problem. I am really impressed. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric 3 performs great on the wet surface but my imagination does not allow me to test them for 100% in this kind of conditions. Also breaking and tracktion on the dry road are excellent. Driving comfort is rather average but I do not expect to much from low profile tyre. Great tyre and I would recommend it! Tyres definitely for dynamic driving. If someone likes to strongly press the accelerator and still feel superior control on turns, during the breaking or overtaking then this tyre model is for him. Driver can feel how tyre handle the bumps on the road and in the same time it leads the vehicle straight without changind the direction. It allowes to move car from the starting point perfectly. I can recommend Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 with a clear conscience. It was tested on my Vauxhall Astra on wet and dry surface. I was really surprised how fast I can drive and still be able to safely take quite sharp turns. Tyres performed like glued to the road. Braking distance has been visibly improved even in comparison with the other top quality tyre models. I feel a lot more safer on the road with that tyres fitted. As I mentioned the best summer tyres I have had. I bought low-budget (Chinese) tyres once in my life and I won't make that mistake again. Since then, only branded tyres and rather premium ones. Taking into account my driving style, my opinion is not authoritative, as I have not had an emergency on these tyres. I had already many different tyre models fitted on my Audi A5. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric 3 is distinctive in my opinion. For me it seems like everything is slightly better that in the other top quality tyre models. Braking distance, traction, wet grip, external noise level - all of these parameters are on the very satisfying level. I was able to do almost 6 thousand miles before I had to finally replace them. Only done about 3k in the new Asymmetric 3s and I'm very pleased about buying them from Oponeo. Great grip wet or dry (quattro helps) and stopping is excellent. Cornering is good too, even with a little acceleration there is no drift. I highly recommend these tyres. I have driven 8-9 thousand miles and there is no sign of use on the tyres, they look like new. In the dry it is sensational, the car runs like it is glued to the road. When it comes to wet surfaces, it also copes very well, it is difficult to skid. I am very pleased that I decided to buy these tyres. The tyres perform superbly, in the dry like a razor blade and in the rain even better, no puddles, no aquaplaning, when braking sharply from high speed you can feel the tyres literally biting into the asphalt is a very strange feeling but the effect is sensational braking distance is perfectly short. The tyres are outstanding in the dry, really good grip with virtually no tyre squeal even at very high speed cornering, in the damp/wet the grip is still pretty good as long as the tyres are warmed up, not quite as good at putting the power down as my previous Bridgestone RE050's when it's wet but overall a very good tyre with good wear and good rim protection. I was looking for tyres for a family estate and bought Zeetex. After a month of use, I returned the tyres because the car was not drivable. I decided to buy Goodyear tyres. All the ratings I gave have to do with the size of my tyres and in particular the low profile. If it had been larger, the rating would have been even better in terms of comfort, for example. Superb tyres, I have already driven almost 10,000 thousand miles on them, I would not change them for anything else. It's hard to judge anything after 1500 miles but the overall impression of the driving is very positive, especially when the air temp is above 15 degrees. At lower temperatures less grip is noticeable on a car with quite a lot of power (Focus RS 305 hp). Generally recommend Read more Collapse

These were bought to replace two that were damaged by potholes. I have no complaints about the tyres, they work really well in all conditions (even a bit of snow) They wear evenly and the pair on the rear still have 6mm remaining after 18000 miles. I would recommend them. Read more Collapse
