The Hankook Kinergy eco K425 is a tyre that helps reduce harmful emissions – it is environmentally friendly both during its manufacture and when in use. The model is designed for passenger cars and is exceptionally good for both everyday driving around town and for longer journeys. Its unique asymmetric tread pattern means that the tyre quickly disperses water to the sides. This reduces the risk of the vehicle skidding and limits the risk of aquaplaning.

The Hankook Kinergy eco K425 offers excellent grip, whatever the weather. Thanks to the use of a new compound, produced using an innovative procedure (using new mixing technology), the tyre has exceptionally low rolling resistance. This obviously results in reduced fuel consumption, which is guaranteed to please all drivers looking for good value running costs. Apart from its lightness, the compound is also noted for its high durability, which makes the tyre resistant to mechanical damage. The model wears slowly and can be used for longer, which is another point in its favour from an environmental point of view. Its new silica-based technology gives it better braking specifications on wet surfaces and reduces noise. With its unique specifications, the designers have managed to instantly muffle tyre noise, making even everyday driving a genuine pleasure.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I went on this set in 1,5 year 80'000km. Impressions are as follows: BRAND NEW:+ superb dry traction+ very good wet performance+ mega quiet, good sound suppression+ very good suppression of road irregularities, the car feels comfy+ strong grip, difficult to cause ABS to work even with sudden braking (in relation to other tyres)+ somewhat nice looking tread, but less important. MADE IN CHINA, unfortunately, now they are done in China, it was heralding faster consumption and I think that's the way it is AFTER THE DISTANCE ~ 80'000km: - they are not so quiet anymore, they are average - this distance, with a calm and economical driving without being reckless, ate them up to ~ 3-4mm, so they quickly worn off to my eye. + on the wet still great (better only I have had was UniRoyal Rainsport) +/- on dry is so, so- rolling resistance increased, and so the combustion rate- on the slippery road one has to be more careful, the back of the car hasn't the best grip+ so far I have not piunctured any.- on the highway they are louder, while the new ones were much quieter.- we have a mild winter and there is no snow anywhere, so I have not changed them and, frankly, they are bad on slippery conditions compared to other summer ones that I have had, generally light snow slush makes it hard to drive but I take into accont that they already had 80000km of mileage and only half tread, so maybe it just has to be this way. Would I buy them again? I chose between Nokian and Vredestein and a few more. I did not bear that these were made in china .... next I will buy Vredestein or some other premium brand. If someone is not too reckless it should last longer. They say that hard tyres are less safe, but if you're a level-headed driver they will last longer. If I compare them to others, UniRoyal RainExpert was better than them and they were perfect tyres for rain and worse weather in general, while in hot weather they were worse, worn out similarly to those and I thought that they would last a lot longer than those. I drive rather calmly, which makes all of 4 tyres wear out very evenly. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Regarding the tyre itself - I'm with the price, definitely better both in terms of road grip and the noise than Presto, which I had previously mounted. It performs well on a wet road, does not lose grip, only a really deep puddle causes a slight skid. During braking it behaves predictably, it is easy to feel the moment of balancing on the verge of the grip and in this field it beats Presto, which very often activated the ABS. Until now, I had the brand's winter tyres bought in December 2013, used in the first winter until late spring, and in the season 2014/2015 founded in November then they traveled all summer and the following winter 2015/2016. In total, 80,000 km passed, of which about 45 thousand in a typical summer season. After removing the front, the tread is flush with the winter wear indicator (2mm left for the TWI), and the rear tyres are still suitable for one winter season, they have about 4mm tread above the "winter" indicator. So I hope that summer Hankooks will be as strong and I will be as happy with them as with the winter tyres of this brand. Read more Collapse

I have chosen those tyres after a long time of thinking and analysing many tests I found on the Internet. I considered to buy many different tyres of some upmarket brands. Rolling resistance, noise level and wear are at the high level in Hankook Kinergy eco K425 tyres. I wasn’t disappointed with my purchase. Very good tyres at a really good price. I searched many websites and OPONEO is one of the cheapest offer and it is certainly the company with the greatest experience. That’s why I decided to buy tyres from them. It may look like it is just a good plug but see for yourself and search the Internet. Even if something would happen with the tyres I know that it is a well-known company and it will still exist :) I can also add that the tyres behave great on dry surfaces during hot days. Similarly on wet surfaces during cloudy and rainy days. Summing up Hankook Kinergy eco K425 tyres are perfect and I recommend them to all. That’s my opinion :) Successful selection and safe driving. I decided to buy some Hankook Kinergy eco K425 tyres after reviewing several tests in the automotive press, where they had quite high positions. As for the price / performance ratio, they are doing very well. I traveled about 2,000 miles with a large middle class estate on them. I assess the traction on dry asphalt high, there is no fear of losing grip and they quickly overcome curves or sudden braking. They perform relatively well on wet surfaces, they hold well from side to side, braking does not cause loss of stability. One problem is rapid starting on wet asphalt, even with a gasoline engine it's easy to lose grip. Well, maybe I demand too much from tyres at this price. A serious minus, however, for problems in balancing the wheels - I've done that twice, including the demounting. At approx. 90 km / h there are slight vibrations, which weren't there on with a winter Hankook tyres. It pumping them up about 0.2 bar helped. Perhaps i just had some worse batch than regular. I was thinking a lot before buying new tyres but my fitter advised me to buy Hankook Kinergy eco K425 tyres. He finally convinced me when he explained what are their advantages. The tyres are remarkably stable on dry and wet surfaces. Very good, short braking distance. They’re also very quiet what is their one of the largest advantages. Honestly, I was the most delighted with the tyres behaviour on wet. I could not belive how good they are. You can move with a very high speed. Of course, without exaggeration. The grip is good even in the puddles. There are some minuses of course. After 6 months I noticed there is about 2 millimeters less on the tread. I think that wear could be better. But I believe there are no products free of flaws. Maybe that’s the price for the perfect grip. However, I do not recognise it as some big problem. Hankook Kinergy eco K425 tyres still have so many advantages I would buy them again. Read more Collapse

Economical price, but a very good product. I drive a lot, some 25-35000 miles year, mainly on the motorway and a little in city. The Hankook tyres perform very well in dry and wet condition. Only my previous Uniroyal RainExpert tyres was behave better during the rain but they wear out very quickly due to high temperatures. The Hankook tyres are very comfotable and damping inequalities. The noise inside the car decreased significantly and noticeably lower rolling resistance if you compare to Dunlop and Uniroyal that I had previously. Driving in the corners is not a problem for these tyres I could not do this on my previous tyres. They belonged to budget segment. Now I have mid range product but i feel like on premium class. Road safety is the most important for me and that is why I decided to purchase the Hankook tyres. I will be happy to mount them back on my car next season. Overall, highly recommended. In my opinion, KINERGY are tyres worth recommending, in the subject of "Eco" tyres I had the opportunity to test Michelins and Fuldas, of course Micheliny are priced from the higher end than Fulda or Hankooks, but I do not see a big difference, nor did i notice any significant difference in the behavior of the Michelin and Hankook, but Fulda was a lot worse than Hankook. It is clearly harder and much less stable on wet, and it does not reflect in better fuel consumption. It is good that there is a choice among cheaper brands, a few years back, fuel-saving tyres, they produced only by "expensive" brands like Michelin or Continental. One should only remember that with this type of tyres, drivers will not be happy about the dynamic driving, such tyres do not have good grip, unless in the heat ... For this they repay with a little lower fuel consumption and longevity. On my family car they are doing very well Read more Collapse

After driving a few one thousand kilometers I got used to these tires and actually I should not have complain. High comfort, well dampens inequality, and at the same time is pretty quiet - not without reason has the words ECO and flower embossed on the profile. However, such a characterization of the tire affects the stability of conduct. You can feel it especially at higher cornering or driving at highway speeds. (My previous tyres were much harder and gave a lot of pleasure from cornering - missing it) But is no bad. I drive a little quieter, which has a direct impact on tire wear. If I had to choose once again if I would buy again These tyres? - Propably no, but seriously I would think about the tyres Prime2 the same manufacturer with speed index V. I greet and wish you a successful choices. Sometimes is worth a little pay extra. Read more Collapse

Hello. I'm currently finishing a second summer season on Hankook Kinergy eco K425 tyres what means about 16 thousand miles. I use them in my Mazda 6 and I drive to my work every day (about 24 miles daily). It is the road with lots of curves and I drive fairly quickly but without exaggeration. That’s why the treas is quite worn out currently but it is the only drawback of the tyres I think. Great handling on dry, almost perfect and it is not worse on wet. Very good grip in general. No drift or squeak during cornering, generally no surprises. I feel confident and safe even during rain because I have not experienced aquaplaning even when I drove with a high speed during medium rainfall. I recommend to all drivers who appreciate safety. Generally big yes for Hankook Kinergy eco K425 tyres. Read more Collapse

Hankook Kinergy eco K425 are the best wearing tyres I have ever experienced. They were fitted to my 2002 Golf IV when I bought them new. Previously I used Dunlop, Michelin and Uniroyal RainSport2. In comparison to those three brands, Hankook Kinergy eco K425 tyres are definitely the best in many aspects. I was a little concerned about wear as I am not an easy driver but I am positively surprised now as the tyres are extremely durable even with my quite aggressive driving. I had no problems with them during the whole season. Good rolling resistance :) Driving comfort phenomenal! They handle well in the dry but they are also excellent in the slippy, greasy roads. They are generally quiet. I will definitely buy another set in the future. I highly recommend those tyres to everyone! Read more Collapse

I chose those tyres out of curiosity and because of the relatively good prices. I have looked many tests about Hankook tyres from different sources. Previously I had Pirelli tyres. and I can see many difrences. The Hankook Kinergy eco K425 tyres provide great performance, superb grip on dry roads also on the wet surfaces. The tyres performing good on curves and fast corners. After driving 1500 miles there are no traces of wear but is still too early to assess their durability.. They are really quiet. Driving is extremely comfortable on these tyres despite the fact that I have a hard suspension . The tyres dosn't look that nice on my car like premium class tyres but I like the quality of the rubber. I do orecommend Hankook Kinergy tyres. The good quality to price ratio. Read more Collapse

These are the first new tyres I bought. Punto looks good in them, although with this tread each car will look very good. They have been tested in harsh Croatian conditions: heat above +35 degrees, many uphill and downhill trips on Sv. Jure (1762 mnpm), stony roads and a lot of sand, luggage and water packs, salty seaside climate, campsites and 3/4 routes through Slovakia and Hungary both one way and the other in the rain. They hold well, aquaplaning is great and braking is also in order. Although this car is not a speed demon, there are no more reasons to worry about these tyres' performance. Now I changed my car to Citroen Berlingo 2.0 HDI. I have opted for Nokian iLine with the similar tread. I will choose either next time depending on price atm Read more Collapse

These tyres are just lost time and money. Before I bought the tyres of this brand, I have been browsing forums and reviews of other users for a long time. Everyone praised them very much. I will add that the first tyres I used in Grande Punto were Bridgestones and served for 50,000 miles. They had good handling on wet and dry surfaces. The tyres were very predictable, generally ok. I decided to buy Hankook tyres and I used them for a total of 3 months, but the tyres are very disappointing, very soft and the car becomes unstable when braking suddenly. On a wet surface the tyre slide like on the ice. Currently, the tyres are lying in the garage and i'm waiting for new ones. If you value your safety, I advise you to buy something else. I have these tyres for full summer season, so about 4 months. Wet driving - no problems with the car. Understeering or oversteering within reasonable limits, practically does not occur. The noise is imperceptible and does not tyre. Fuel consumption - honestly, I have no idea whether it has decreased or not, but this is a secondary thing for me when it comes to the tyres. To sum up the product; i'd recommend it, the quality for the price is great. I think that they will last for full three summer seasons. Regards. Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres in 2011 summer. They were just introduced to the market and thus there was a massive introductory sale, I purchased the whole set with fitting for 124 pound. But I am amazed by this tyre, great grip with very little noise, we drove the car for 30000 km and still 4 mm remaining on the front and 3 mm on the rear, (I swapped the front to the rear at 20000 km), my only better tyres of the same size were Pirelli P7-s they had better cornering grip, they were not so good in wet breaking as these. generally quite soft tires, while I had to get used to them. Unfortunately, I got one tire with a disadvantage, she looked like after a strong braking, flattened and OPONEO did not consider the complaint, so I have 5 tire in the basement because I bought a new same, just beat up and down and it could not be weighed. OPONEO gave to the manufacturer and the manufacturer, of course, stated that it is all about. When he bought new only then could balance the right circle. Generally at 90km / h, slightly beating and begin again at 160km / h - earlier there was no such thing, rims new and not crooked. I think this wine too soft compound. The car floats lightly on the corners and I then "ants in my stomach," because I do not feel too confident - not crazy about somehow exaggerated. Quite good or low rolling resistance and therefore consumes less car on the road - quite a big difference with hard Bridgestone'nami who better to lead. Immediately after the exchange of Continentalek (ordinary wear shoes) to the basalt tłuczniu ripped a new tire - one month of use (it was very hot approx. 35 degrees) which is not suitable for repair. I had to buy another set. The tire is very plastic which gives excellent results during cold and rainy days. In the hot one gets the impression drive on the winter and there is a feeling squeal of rubber. Another fatal adventure is once again a hot summer day protruding curb or crossover tram and damage to the side of the tire (breaking - cut a piece of rubber). I was full of hope for a super donuts after years of exclusivity Continental ContiEcoContact. Now back repentant to Continental. To sum up, the parameters of a super tire but only on motorways and roads-S. The tragedy of the area and the old non-renovated roads and especially for driving above 30 degrees C. These tires have chosen the fairly large number of thinking and analyzing the tests that I could find on the internet. I considered types of tires with a higher shelf. My annual mileage is very small, because usually less than 30 thousand. miles. If any of you have a similar annual course it really does not pay to invest in a tire with superior because it is not we will feel that with such a course. Rolling resistance, noise abrasion Hankook Kinergy Eco K425 is at a high level. I was not disappointed. Very good tires at a really good price. I bought these tires in order to invest in something better than the cheapest products (for one has already "passed" last season) and was not disappointed. Tires performing extremely well. Value for money is highly satisfactory and can recommend the purchase of each. I started to tire 3ch different cars and different sizes and excel just as well. On the dry conditions are not noisy. Moreover, it seems to me that over the previous tires have slightly lower fuel paliwa.Na auto wet carried out stably disperse water nicely and I have no aquaplaning. The only thing I am afraid of is life after a few years of use. Tires made in China make up but a certain stereotype, which I hope will not confirm :-) Read more Collapse

As the title good tires at a reasonable price, but certainly not EKO, because I have not noticed any differences between the tires and summer tires earlier and only small differences between zimówką and the summer (0.2 liters). And none of the preceding my comparative tire was EKO name. However, this does not mean that the tires are bad, on the contrary, the tires are performing surprisingly well in the wet, especially during braking and acceleration, they are quiet and yet smooth. For dry braking also fall well, but in corners, unfortunately, somewhat worse than the previous ones, but there is no tragedy. Durability and failure do not judge because right now I have them only 4 months. Read more Collapse

I rode on tires distance of about 20tys. km in one year. Tires well stick to the road on dry and wet roads. As per combo (Ford Focus 109 hp) in the machine with a small combustion engine 1.6 TDCi average stands at around 6l / 100km route is about 4,8-5,5 / 100km but the city quickly increased average. Driving economically to V max 100km / h is impossible to maintain a temporary burning at about 3,8l / 100km which means that the tires actually have low rolling resistance. With one tire was going down my air wentylkiem but due to the fact that I bought tires strengthened even at a pressure of about 1 bar did not smell that something is wrong with the car. Hi, tire uses a few months in the car Skoda Fabia. They are noticeably quieter than the previously used (originally installed by the factory) floor Firestone F-509. Incineration is also slightly lower (according to the ADAC of some 0.2-0.3 L / 100km). Tires used almost exclusively in the city. Production: Hungary. Rubber very soft. Purchased size: 185/60 R14. Appearance: looking good. Overall, I am satisfied and to this car I would choose again the same tires. I considered even slightly more expensive Dunlopy SP Sport Bluresponse, but I chose the slightly cheaper Hankooki. I do not judge the consumption of rubber, because drove too small a distance to make it meaningful. Read more Collapse

I compare the properties of the tire with a tire Firestone F 590, in the same size and with the same speed index. The properties of the tire Firestone tire outweigh. It is more flexible, far quieter and inequality dampens well if properly inflated is, of course (as required by the manufacturer of the car). Auto well underway goes like glued to the road as a result of the flexibility appreciate the tires. What do not speak to the vitality is too low mileage. Perhaps the only advantage Firestonów can prove their durability, drove them over 70 thousand. km. It seems that for the fact that they were very hard tires, good at the same hałasowały. Excellent performance on the road. I replaced a few years, a good brand on these tires - after reading many reviews and a lot of tests. Very good choice. Tires perfectly cling to the road, give the impression of simply sticking - I have no way of slipping or falling out of the corner - unless someone goes speeding. Quiet. largely driven around the city, a few raids on tour. To sum up - tires predictable - behave as they should. A shop Oponeo - full professionalism. Now, in the autumn here bought tires again - this time winter tires. At the next exchange probably I will order again here - recommend and shop and tires. Read more Collapse

I was looking for tires, which will have a decent performance at an acceptable price. These were some of the cheapest brand. I approached them with skepticism, because so far I've used tires with a theoretically higher-end (the last is the Nokian X-line). I am very pleasantly surprised. The tires are quiet and comfortable, and at this very well and predictably on their way. Good adhesion and dry and the wet. Clearly imply when approaching the limit of adhesion. After purchasing and installing on wheels I had the first ride on which I was very pleased. The tire very well hold a change of direction, good suppress unevenness and is relatively quiet. The issue of consumption do not give evaluation, because first drove them enough kilometers and a second count of that good, tacky tire also has to consume. To this must be added the fact that the tire has a very favorable value for money. For good money we receive a great tire. Read more Collapse

Tire in performs excellently: instantly responds to brake pedal on dry and wet (occasionally abs). I have quite high power in relation to the weight of the car (150hp-1400kg) and rarely tows. Wide grooves for water drainage when they make their torrential rains and veneers. After 40kkm disappeared 4.5mm tires which I think is a very good result. Instead of several years I have Nowki that excel sensational. 5 thousand km just a little bit affected the tread. In conclusion, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend the model of tire to anyone who wants to feel safer while driving his car in rainy and sunny days - I personally since I ride on Hankook tires feel safer. Opinion from outside the UK

When buying suggested the relation price / quality and rolling resistance. tyres very quiet, at least against the background of the Sava Perfecta / Fulda EcoControl and Bfgoodrich G-grip. Abrasion virtually nil, although it drove a lot. Good lateral support, predictable behavior on wet. tyres very well disperse water. Well also cope with the snow: D what I say here is true ośsniegu 15-20 cm and more compacted, but that was no problem. Low rolling resistance, the car goes lighter than my previous BFGoodrich. Clincher despite wszytsko rather hard and can be perceived inequality. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought a new car, in which the tire spoiled me the joy of a new car. Hard, loud and bouncing. I advertised them almost immediately, but I heard that they are focused on tire durability and grip, and they agree with me that, for this reason, they are loud. Let it go "digging with the horse," the dealer and waited changes to winter tires. I bought Gislawedy and for now, the car in dry conditions better to drive, do not bounce no noise (and this is after winter tires!). For the summer I give them to settle other tires to its wulkanizatorowi. To that Hankook. Read more Collapse

I will not wymądrzał I'm super expert automotive why I write what I see and what I paid. I bought tires for the Nissan Micra K12. Auto 90% whizzes around town, occasionally the city. The tires are quiet, the car rolls freely, you do not hear any disturbing noises while driving on different types of surfaces (asphalt, paving, concrete). W / tires bought on the advice vulcanizer, who told me to buy Hankoki it for a reasonable price I will not even bother wearing head problems with the tires (excluding winter tires changes;)) - and was 100% wrong.
