Nokian Tyres Seasonproof 1

I've been looking for solid multi-season tyres and for this season I've found them. They catch traction very well, have a fast braking distance and I have also noticed a reduction in fuel consumption of around 0.5l. I was concerned because the Chinese-made tyres arrived, but despite this I have nothing to complain about. As an overall satisfied user of these tyres, I have to say that although it brakes noticeably worse on wet tarmac compared to the summer tyre, I still value its versatility and comfort. They perform well in most road conditions, which is key for me. However, I am concerned about safety, so you may want to take extra precautions in more difficult weather conditions. It wasn't an easy decision, as we are used to tyres adapted to a specific season. The choice turned out to be the right one. The tyres are performing brilliantly. Only 3k and mainly in hot weather, for a multi-season they are quiet, hot tarmac has not worn them down. This profile holds well in the corners these two tonnes. I'm waiting for snow: I drive little (up to 12k/year), I've hardly encountered snow on the road for the last 3 years, so it's a waste of time and money for summer/winter tyres. Read more Collapse

An interesting proposition for those looking for multi-season tyres. The rubber compound and tread shape have really been chosen in the right way. My mechanic wondered whether they were summer or winter tyres. They grip well in the wet. They handle braking well. I would confidently recommend. Read more Collapse

For an all-season tyre they turned out to be surprisingly quiet, unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to test on slush, dry and wet they perform superbly, I don't know at what rate they will wear as I haven't done enough km on them yet. Read more Collapse

Tyre bought for taxi, dynamic, hours-long, daily driving. Rubber holds up well in the dry and surprisingly well in the wet - both when warm and cold. Definitely a good buy. I have not had the opportunity to drive in typical winter conditions. Read more Collapse

Quiet tyre. Handling with confidence, although at a dozen degrees on sharp corners not as good as on summer tyres. Ice and snow not yet tested. Fuel consumption slightly higher than on summer tyres. Overall recommended. Read more Collapse
