Overall the tyre is not bad but not suitable for certain cars. Strengths: - relatively low rolling resistance - very good dry grip and good control in case of loss of grip - Good steering precision - decent longevity - good control in case of loss of grip in the wet - fairly easy balancing and no "run-out" of the tyre - decent resistance to aquaplaning - The biggest advantage of the tyres is the control of the car after losing grip in dry and wet (additionally it is easy to sense when a skid occurs) AND the grip on dry pavement. Drawbacks: - quite significant noise from the start - they make a distinct noise and this is due to the high hardness of the tread - the biggest disadvantage is that the tyre increases the car floating on ruts, also tested on a BMW E92. Compared to other tyres, the car simply starts pulling hard to the right and left on ruts. - Wet grip, first season ok, next season worse, always has a TC reaction when starting in the wet. - Unevenness damping is ok, but noticeably worse than on the softer Goodyears. - Due to the shape of the tread, the tyres increase the resistance to steering when manoeuvring and parking. By purchasing this tire whose quality is nested in the premium class expecting luxury by large L. Maybe I'm not disappointed, but probably surprised because I was expecting a bit better presentation. On a dry road it performs superbly well-kept asphalt and not too much noise in wet conditions one can not complain too much, even when driving through a puddle at high speed sticks to the track. Tires are fairly quiet. However, I was surprised that I could not drive completely across the wet grass on a slight hill. Although moderately operated on gas I slipped as to the former bald. In addition, after the first season of use on one of the tires on the side of the balloon appeared, and tread also has significantly erasure. So I do not think it was worth it to overpay because it is a premium tire with a little different from the tires middle-class or even budget class. Read more Collapse

I have them on Fiat Stilo. Best I’ve ever had. Good on wet and dry road. I drove 60k miles, but most of it, 45k miles was made in summer. No deformations, no vibrations on steering wheel. With good Ferodo DSP brakes you can show where middle class tyres are placed. No extra warming, good grip. No wearing on sidewalls. Highly recommend. For me, the only bad the tyre has is that the size 205/55R16 doesn’t have rim protector. Tyres have 4mm of tread pattern and deep pool causes aquaplaning at 60mph. But ESP/ASR turns in and everything goes smoothly then. This is my home car, the other is Subaru. I have lvl3 race driving diploma and I see those tyres absolutely perfect. Moderate driving style, like Colin McRae said: “Straight roads are for fast cars and curves for fast drivers.” Curves are very easy due to driver’s skills, great auto balance and nice suspension. The Pirelli P7 Cinturato has some advantages and some disadvantages. It's certainly not suitable for more powerful and heavier vehicles. The BMW X3 35i is definitely not doing well even with a 4-wheel drive. Braking is terrible. After changing the tyres to winter Dunlops the cars started to brake normally. Grip in corners is normal, I rated shock absorbing as "below average" because these are Run Flats. The tyre is extremely durable. After 16000 miles of dynamic driving it still looks very good and I'm sure it will smoothly do twice as much. It is also relatively quiet. Unfortunately, I have a prejudice to ECO-labeled tyres. I recommend these tyres for less dynamic drivers and for lighter cars with less power, for powerful and heavy cars they are NOT recommended. Read more Collapse

Hi tere, I have Continental P7 Cinturato way too short to write any more than previous users, but it is silent and comfortable. I could ride it in rain and on dry without any issues. Previously I had Pirelli P7 which was a very good tyre: resistant to wear and damages. Good steering, no matter it is dry or wet, but a little bit noisier than Pirelli P7 Cinturato but it is not as important at all. I have done 20000 miles on the front tyres and 30000 miles on the rear and in different road conditions in various European countries. I sure hope that Pirelli P7 Cinturato will be still that good or even better. By now I was riding Pirelli P7 and this is why I’ve chosen this brand again. Greetings to all buyers! Read more Collapse

I fitted Pirelli P7 Cinturato tyres in the size 205/55R16 to an Audi 80 B4 2.0 115HP. I drive a lot on motorways and I was intent on buying a tyre of a well-known brand, which behaves well on wet, because on dry a majority of new tyres is good. With a clear conscience I can recommend Pirelli P7 Cinturato. So far they haven't lost their grip neither on dry nor on wet. I only see the difference in handling fast bends (motorway exit), as previously i used a low profile tyre and profile 55 is much softer / higher and does not provide such traction in the bend as low-profile tyres. However, I recommend strongly for overall specs. I can add that I was able to buy a set of 2012 tyres for 200 pounds. Read more Collapse

I did about 8 thousand miles on these tyres (the car is a BMW 3 Series, Run Flat tyres). Due to the fact that I chose Run Flats, the tyres are intentionally harder and louder than the "standard" version, but still quiet enough so the noise does not bother anyone. A very big advantage is theie low abrasion. After these 8 thousand miles there's no sign of tread wear (and I also had a bit of fun on these tyres). Correct behaviour on wet, but you have to be careful with the rear wheel drive and ESP switched off. Very good grip when starting on wet and dry, it's hard to get the wheels spinning for too long. Overall, Pirelli P7 Cinturatos are tyres I can definitely recommend. Read more Collapse

Unfortunately, one of the tyres that was fitted to my car has a defect. It is noticeably louder. The faster I drive the louder the noise gets. It sounds like it is "beeping". This is not a result of bad balance, as it has been checked 2 times and shifted from front to rear. After driving for an hour at 90-120 km/h the noise remains in the ears. This is probably due to a manufacturing defect. In my opinion, a premium tyre manufacturer should not make such a mistake, which is why I give the tyre an average rating. With higher torque on wet roads, the car loses grip when accelerating. The tyre is not prone to excessive abrasion so I give extra points here Read more Collapse

Pirelli P7 Cinturato is a very good tyre. This is some kind of rubbish to say they are Bad. I drove on Pirelli P7 Cinturato 13000 miles and it is very durable and silent. Good on dry and wet. Terrible on Snow!! Attention! You can’t miss the change of the summer tyres to winter for you might be disappointed. Pirelli P7 Cinturato has one fault: resilience. I had Michelins Primacy previously and those were much more comfortable. In general: Pirelli P7 Cinturato is a very good tyre and I doubt that ADAC neutral when giving notes to it on wet. Pirelli P7 Cinturato’s great advantage is its durability. I do 40000 miles on them and this result is very good. Read more Collapse

I have already driven several sets of different Pirelli tyres. From the P3000 to the P7 Cinturato. Probably using Pirelli is a matter of getting used to the brand. I had reservations about the last set I used, because after about 20,000 km I was "catching slippers" very easily. I bought a new set. When putting the tyres on, they were weighed and I experienced a shock: in order to balance them, I had to put on approx. 70g. weights. This has never happened before (15-20g was sufficient). I don't know why tyres up to 240 km/h require so much lead. I think these are the last Pirelli in my career. As for the tyre itself - I recommend it in the wet. Read more Collapse

I value this tyre for its excellent wet traction. I have also used Uniroyal RainExpert tyres and I must say that the P7 is at least as good or better in the wet. You have to move hard in the rain for the ESP to work slightly. On another (much weaker) car I had Michelin Energy Saver and in the wet it was a tragedy, I could barely move from lights in the rain. The P7 tyres are of course also excellent on a dry road. They could be a bit quieter, but they're still pretty good and the noise doesn't bother me (they're marked 71dB, and you can buy 69dB tyres). I have no idea why Pirelli, got BMW approval.... I’ve said ‘Bye!’ to Run Flats due to a very hard suspension. I am unpleasantly surprised after changing winter to summer tyres. Pirelli P7 Cinturato is very loud and noisy while speeding – like driving a van. Looks like a balloon: sidewalls are round. As for the tracking capabilities – everything is ok apart from the noise while approaching a band. Very good on wet ground, soft in general, comfortable on bumpy road and very noisy when braking. Not recommended! Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres last year, in 2011 and I'm very satisfied. in the bends the car drives like it was "glued", there's no problem with sudden braking, does not lose the grip, which took place on the tyres I had before (Barum, Michelin, Bridgestone). En route I do about 700-850 miles on one tank (in comparison, on Barums I did 630-650 miles). As for a reinforced tyre, bump absorbing is very good, as well as the water drainage. The only drawback is worse behaviour in temperatures from 0 to 5 degrees. Read more Collapse

I fitted these tyres in the spring last year. Actually, it was my boss who did it - because it was his car. I work as a salesman - and I drive a lot, I did 32 000 miles on these tyres in the summer. There's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to complain about. Good results on wet surface are confirmed during everyday driving, and the tyres are quiet. I think I'll do one more season on these tyres without any problems (although I would prefer to sell them as used in good condition and now get new ones ;). Read more Collapse

If you plan to change your tyres after three seasons for new ones, I recommend it. My tyres cracked in the tread grooves after 35k. The tyres are noisy, I compare them with yokohama winter tyres in driwe - I can't hear the difference. When it comes to grip on dry and wet surfaces it is VERY GOOD. these are the only pluses of these tyres. I'd also add that they look tragic on the wheel, the kind of potato chips you get on a big Fiat. Durability is the worst disadvantage of these tyres. Read more Collapse

Previously I had Kleber Dynaxer HP3s and they seemed poor to me but after changing to Pirelli P7 Cinturatos I changed my mind. Pirellis are hard and very often twisted, it seemed to me that Klebers are loud but Pirellis are comparable. I put the tyres on the car and at 70 MPH the car began to fall into vibrations - sorry but I changed to them from old winter Barums, and there wass nothing like that there, and this is a premium class new tyre - and it's poor to me. I do not know where the opinions about the durability of this tyre come from - at my place, after 30 thousand km, the tyres of 245/45/17 size on the rear axle are no longer there - reached to the indicators. I do not drive like a madman, rather moderately, the fact that the car is heavy + rear-wheel drive, but to wear them so much? The front will easily last another 2 seasons - 3-4 mm to the indicators. Apart from that, a tyre like any other. Read more Collapse

I did over 35 000 miles on Pirelli P7 Cinturatos, during which they surprised me many times with their grip in corners, which saved me during emergency braking a few times. It is quiet as one of only few and it didn't feather from fast driving. Low abrasion is an additional advantage. I would recommend Pirelli P7 Cinturato as a safe and comfortable tyre which allows have some fun with fast driving use maximum potential of the car. Read more Collapse

Overall, I am satisfied with purchased tyres. no matter if the surface was wet or dry, they behaved superbly. Their drawback is relatively short life span. I did about 35 000 miles since purchasing (maybe a bit more). Today (5th November) I changed my tyres to winter ones and my mechanics claimed that P7 Cinturatos are no use anymore. One axle had the tread at tread wear index level, the other two were slightly over the marker. Read more Collapse

I have these tyres only a few weeks, but I used a lot of summer tyres like Dunlop, Continental, Fulda, and the Pirelli P7 Cinturatos are really amazing as summer tyres. They are the best in ADAC tests, this is also a good mark for them! They are very quiet, I can't assess their abrasion and behaviour in the winter yet. Read more Collapse

I don't like riding Pirelli P7 Cinturato. I have a constant feeling not having control over my own car which was about to slide... I can't tell the difference between wet and dry road. I will not buy them any more. I prefer Debica.. I feel more comfortable on a budget winter tyre than on a summer premium class. Read more Collapse

As mentioned above: first season with Pirelli P7 Cinturato was ok. The biggest surprise is that the tyres are considerably louder than the winter continentals. After 15,000 miles I'm thinking of replacing them as there is very little tread left. I drive a lot on highways, sometimes 160-200 so maybe that explains the wear. I advise against Read more Collapse

Pirelli P7 Cinturatos are the thirs tyre set in my current car and they are the first to allow a dynamic start on wet (a lot of torque, no electronic systems like ASR, etc). Quiet, comfortable, reduce fuel consumption, grip well on wet and dry. I recommend. Read more Collapse
