The designers of the Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde set themselves the goal of creating an eco-friendly tyre. They succeeded in doing so, since the tyre helps to protect the environment both during its manufacture and when it is being used. The asymmetric tread is designed to handle a wide variety of weather conditions. The tread features two specialised sections to ensure that the tyre will not only handle well on wet roads, but also deliver safe and dynamic driving on dry roads. In line with the new EU regulations, Pirelli has created an eco-friendly tyre which is also cost-effective. Lower rolling resistances mean that the vehicle consumes less fuel, which not only cuts costs but also reduces atmospheric CO2 emissions.

The special compound used to manufacture the tyre guarantees outstanding quality and longer lifetimes, as well as making the model more resistant to typical mechanical damage. A further advantage offered by the tyre is low tyre noise, which significantly increases driving comfort. The Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde is the ideal solution for compact urban vehicles. Precise handling, outstanding grip in any weather conditions and reduced fuel consumption are benefits which will be appreciated by any driver. Innovative design and manufacturing solutions ensure that the tyre not only delivers driving comfort and safety, but also protects the environment. It is a particularly good choice for drivers looking for a tyre which can handle high speeds without losing performance.

    Review not verified

    Opinion from outside the UK

I was thinking about purchasing a set of new tyres for a quite long time and ultimately I decided to buy the Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde. The main criteria I took into consideration when making my choice was a price to quality ratio. I managed to place my order with Oponeo and purchased the tyres at a reasonable price. In my previous car I tried to experiment and combine sport performance with comfort. The vehicle I have currently is not a speed demon. I thought that a high profile tyre from a premium class manufacturer will be the best combination of comfort. It was a good decision and I am not disappointed. The Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde tyres are very quiet. They are extremely comfortable in a city. The size of my tyres is 185/65R14. Pirelli managed to combine comfort, grip and sport performance in these tyres. I would like to recommend the Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde tyres to all who look for the best quality product. Their provide safety on the road and this is the most important thing when it comes to overall performance. If you decide to buy these tyres, you will definitely not regret. Read more Collapse

The Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde tyres are sensational! I have been driving on them for four months and I am really impressed. My car is rather weak. It is Renault Clio 1.2 Ripcurl III. I had some Bridgestones mounted on my vehicle and must admit that I can see a tremendous difference. The Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde tyres are much better. First of all, my Clio behaves well in corners. I do not have to slow down or brake suddenly. What is more, the car behaves perfectly on slippery roads after rain. Another thing is that they are a way quieter than my previous tyres. I bought 165/65 R15 tyres. They provide good grip. I think they are one of the best tyres in this price range. Their price was good so I decided to make a purchase. Furthermore, my friend had these tyres mounted on his vehicle and he was really satisfied with their quality. Thank you Oponeo. I recommend the Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde tyres to all drivers. Read more Collapse

I bought the more expensive tyres because of the reputation of the Pirelli brand and was not disappointed. After buying the car, I drove for a year on the old winter tyres. I then bought Nokian winter tyres and the driving comfort has improved immeasurably. Compared to the old ones, they were quieter and kept the car on the road better. But the Pirelli tyres are even better. I know that you shouldn't compare winter and summer tyres, but I drove on summer tyres in late autumn, when the temperatures dropped to around 0°C, and I didn't feel any loss of handling, either on dry or wet surfaces. The Pirelli summer tyres are also very quiet. When driving around town, they are practically inaudible, whereas cars passing me are. When driving faster, the more I couldn't hear them over the air noise. In short: well worth the money, I recommend them. Read more Collapse

I do recommend the Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde tyres. They provide good grip even in heavy rain weather conditions. They are superb in dry weather. Driving is very comfortable. I think they have a low rolling resistance. The tyres are doing surprisingly good. They are very predicatable. Their rubber compound is ideal. It is not too soft and not too hard. It is difficult to find a bad word. The tyres are very good, safe and predictable. Driving on them is a pure pleasure. I think I will choose this brand next time as well. The Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde tyres are extremely quiet. At the same time they provide sporty sensations. Furthermore, they provide you everything you need to feel safe on the road. They have my recommendation. Read more Collapse

This is the second time I have used this model of tyre. The previous ones wore out after 4 years, two of which were used all year round ( about 2mm left to the marker indicating the need to change the tyre). High tread in new tyres compared to competitors. Very good performance. Tyre noise level good to medium. Excluding ice, with 4-wheel drive in snowy conditions performs superbly. Compared to the FULDY (which I have used successfully before - also a good tyre), they wear much slower. The Fulda lasted 3 seasons. The fact that I have chosen the same tyre model again shows that I drive quite well on them. Moderate driving, mainly city + motorway + family off-road trips. Read more Collapse

Very good tyres. The Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde tyres are doing well on wet roads. My car is not skidding even in wet conditions. They are great in dry but when there is a sudden change of weather you will feel a difference, especially if you had an opportunity to drive on some budget tyres. My car became stable and predictable. I have an impression like my car was going on rails. You only need to remember that even the best tyres cannot replace a brain. In conclusion, I recommend these tyres. Read more Collapse

I think that the Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde tyres are one of the best I have ever had mounted on my vehicle. Their behaviour in a rainy weather is just phenomenal. The previous tyres were loosing grip while doing 100 mph. However, the Pirelli P1 Cinturato Verde stick to the road perfectly. ABS do not have to activate too often. I recommended these tyres to my friend who has a Golf IV. He is as pleased as I am. The tyres are very good and durable so I highly recommend them. Read more Collapse

I managed to purchase these tyres at the beginning of the year at a promotional price. I've done nearly 13,000 km and I think they are the best money spent on tyres, and I have nothing to compare them to. Brilliant control, great grip in corners both wet and dry. The only thing I can't assess so far is their durability. However, the tread looks like new after 13,000 km. I highly recommend these tyres to everyone. Read more Collapse

The tyres perform excellently whatever the road conditions. They can be a little noisy at high speed, but this is not a nuisance even on a long journey. It has been verified in practice that the braking distance is significantly reduced compared to the previous tyres (Michelin), which was a pleasant surprise. Very quiet, superb tyre . The car handles both dry and wet. Excellent road holding on bends and in ruts. The tyre has been used on various terrains and surfaces. In all conscience, I recommend a comfortable ride. I don't know about the abrasion, as I have only been using them for a short time, but I also have Pirelli winter tyres, and they work well for the second season. Read more Collapse

I have driven around 10,000 km on Pirelli tyres with my Zafira. Sometimes I have driven short distances with 7 people and long distances (5 people plus luggage). Good tyres, the car handles confidently, ABS does not come on for any reason as it did on my previous slightly worn tyres. They handle well in the wet. No steering jerk when driving through deeper puddles at higher speeds. I am satisfied so far. They have covered over 12,000 km and show no signs of wear. They are very good for such a small car. Tire founded in the mid-range car with power, which is not small, but not impressive - just such as decent haul. I have to say that this tyre give advice. Wet, dry, comfort - standing at a good level. They say that Pirelli is not suitable for the Polish holes in the road, but for me it's not true. I would recommend with a clear conscience. I would recommend to buy, as was proven. Sometimes I had the impression that heavy breaking lose traction, but it could be due to the new tires, which have not yet been run well. For me, one plus is that the hard braking and traction is not screeching like a peasant :) Regards Read more Collapse
