Rapid P609

For a first time I have seen this tyre model on Oponeo website. I never heard nothing about them and I decided to call the customer service. Consultant exactly answered my questions and I placed an order for Rapid P609. I drive on them more than a year now and I can confirm what consultant said about them. Tyres are quiet and what is the most important wet grip is very good. Safty is major thing for me. I have to admit that I didn't have to much money for tyres and that was the reason why I purchased this model but it was a good choice. Recommended for everyone who would like to save some money. I couldn't spend to much for new set of tyres but I had to change my previous ones. I was looking for tyres from the budget class. I read a lot of opinions on the Internet on many different websites. I focused on Asian producers and finally I decided to purchase Rapid P609. After a year of using this tyre I can share with my opinion. They are quiet and didn't worn off to much. I was really sceptical about Rapid P609 before I ordered them. I couldn't understand how it is possible to produce tyre matching every quality and safety requirements and sell it for such a low price. I said to myself - lets check it. I was not disappointed in the purchase. I suggested only with the opinions from customers and advice from the consultant. I purchased my tyres in early spring. To date, I have covered about 4,000 km and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I was surprised that Chinese manufacturers can make such a good product. I decided to buy Rapid P609 becouse of few reasons. The most important one was of course price. I didn't want to buy second hand tyres. I think it is not safe solution. I have two years warranty period and I'm completey satisfied with that. Reliable handling, excellent in the wet. The only thing I noticed was the rolling resistance, after changing from 195/65R15 you feel that a piece of tyre is on the rim, although maybe at this width it is normal. Asymmetrical tread, very comfortable. I do not have a very well soundproofed car, but I do not hear any excessive noise. In my opinion, the tyre is very well suited for most roads, and I am referring here to the issue of driving on potholes and picking up bumps. I travel frequently with my family, mainly for shopping, taking my child to nursery school and of course holidays. This tyre has ensured that I don't have to worry about these aspects. The tyre performs very well in the dry as well as on dry surfaces. I previously used Daytona tyres, also in the economy class, but in my opinion it is not worth the money. I often drive quite fast in various conditions. I used the tyres for about 4-5k last season. Now I've put them back on after the winter and they continue to perform well.
