Uniroyal RainMax 2
Rain Max 2 is a middle-class summer tyre, designed for commercial vehicles. This model ensures stability and driving safety due to the symmetrical tread, which drains water perfectly. The tyre is designed to wear evenly. Amongst drivers, the Rain Max 2 has gained the reputation as an economical tyre, which performance can be enjoyed through the whole period of its use.
Protection against aquaplaning: The symmetrical design of the tread drains water efficiently.
Rain Max 2 tyres are ideal for drivers who want to ensure their safety, as well as their passengers. The model has a symmetrical tread, as well as wide circumferential channels to protect the car from aquaplaning.Excess water is rapidly discharged from the tyres surface and the car sticks firmly to the road. This makes the Rain Max 2 the pioneer on wet surfaces.
Grip: High braking efficiency
The tyre is stable whilst cornering, and its special design reduces the braking distance on wet and dry surfaces. A high number of sipes and gripping edges optimise water drainage of the ground contact patch. Drivers will appreciate the Rain Max 2 for the confidence it gives and their high reactivity on steering movements. Thanks to this, the model will gain the trust of users who want to drive safely, while using all of the tyre’s parameters.
Fuel efficiency: a noticeable reduction in fuel consumption
Drivers, who choose Uniroyal Rain Max 2 for their cars, will experience a reduction in fuel consumption. It's all thanks to the special design of the tyre. The tread is equipped with rigid ribs and grooves, which reduce rolling resistance. This means that this Uniroyal model is not only safe, but also economical.

Opinion from outside the UK
Tyres bought by choice - I have the same set on Corolla Combi and they are performing perfectly, quiet, well gripped on wet and dry, abrasion fine – I use them three seasons and after driving about 16 thousand miles they look like new. My wife is very happy with them. That's why I bought them to to share for this same model, 16”. Sharan drives more often but I carry heavy loads, pack of friends, and seven people are going to continue foreign trips. Rarely driving on the highway below 85 mph, usually 110-120 mph. Tyres at each speed give a sense of security, both on dry and wet, they are quiet and maybe a little too hard (but we must remember that these are Reinforced tyres). Unfortunately, the operation and hard work does not serve the tread of the tyres that I have now, which disappears into thin air especially on the axis drive. In the next month two front winter tyres are going in the trash, and therefore I won't be buying more of them for this car. I think the Uniroyals are the value for money. Again, in all other respects, these tyres are worth the money – they never faild, in any circumstances. Highly recommended for a quiet, urban driving. Read more Collapse

Good tyres to drive both on the dry and especially on wet. I've never ever ran into a skid, and I happened to drive quite dynamically, including testing on a racetrack in the safe driving school. I fared really well in comparison with other users and holders of other tyres on the wet track. Just for assessment - the instructor after another good attempt asked me on the phone - what do you drive on? :) Previously driven on Michelin tyres - I did not notice much of a difference, except the price. No less simply did not have a specific situation on the road. But I always recommend Uniroyal to drive safely. Read more Collapse

Mounted on a Volvo 240 station wagon. Before I had the old Rain Max 1. Now tyres better take the road at all speeds. More drift on roundabouts, on rainy days. The grip in the rain is really good. Consumption seems to be a little lower on the highway. Wear is good, as the old version seemed to hold more than average. But for me there is a default, the shape of the tread is flatter as the former but round. Suddenly the car seems a little less stable over 65mph and the line is a little less pretty. I live and work in Denmark, where it almost always rains. Tyres Uniroyal RAIN MAX 2 are great in the rain, even with large quantities of water on the highway. When it is dry they are a little bit louder, but still performing well. Although I have them only since the beginning of the season 2015, but fast tread wear worries me a little bit. I have not noticed any significant changes in combustion. At the moment I recommend them to all drivers. Read more Collapse

As in this price and this class of the tyres, I highly recommend their purchase. To date, I had no problems with them. I tested them even in Ukraine and you can probably imagine that there are some roads that were a real challenge for these tyres. Believe me it is worth adding a few pound more and have peace of mind. You buy the safety by buying the tyres and these tyres meet their purpose. I recommend them to all. Read more Collapse

Tyres very good for this price. I think that they are ideal for commercial vehicles (here mostly imported are metal parts, finished goods and raw material). As it happens in the metal industry tyres are exposed to swarf and metal edgings and practically at all does not bother them and does not affect the durability of the tyres and their failure rate. This is another set purchased by our company. Read more Collapse

I recommend the tyre Uniroyal RAIN MAX 2. I'm not disappointed in them at any time whether driving around town or in the field with cargo or with or without the rain and on dry pavement. I recommend them to others . Each has its own requirements but for me this tyre is good. The price is also reasonable. I'm happy with them. I recommend. Read more Collapse

Did not impress me - although I do not drive hard. In any case, 85 mph on the highway in downpour gave an advice of the wet grip without hesitation, it was fine. Emergency braking was good too. It is hard to interlocking circles to dry. The only thing that may be a drawback - they can catch a brownish coating, which then disappears. Read more Collapse

I drive around the country to work on the distances of 10 to 100 miles a day without any problems. I tried the tyres on longer distances as well – I made about 1200 miles one way during one day while driving to southern Europe. These tyres are reliable. I sincerely recommend them to all. I would recommend to anyone who needs tyres especially on wet pavements. I am very pleased. I made a few thousands of miles on them and do not complain. I needed tyres good for wet pavements because those previous tyres I had were slipping on ice and I was scared to drive my car. Read more Collapse

Before I tried Bridgestone, Dunlop, Goodyear, but so far Uniroyal is the best by beating the wet grip marks, durability, and price. Dry grip very good, too. A bit noisy. I've done 15000 miles on them. Next time the tyres will be the same. Read more Collapse

In general, I'm satisfied. The wet sporadic problems with traction when accelerating, but perhaps this is due to a light load (usually no more than 300 kg). After 10 000 km, there are no signs of wear. Read more Collapse
