Uniroyal SnowMax 2

3PMSF

The tyre meets the European Union's requirements for winter tyres

Carries the 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Flake) symbol, which is awarded after the model in question has been thoroughly tested for snow grip.

Uniroyal Snow Max 2 is the smart choice for vans and light trucks in the winter. This middle-class tyre ensures the best value for money. The directional tread pattern on the tyre helps to drain water quickly and provide excellent traction.

Driving:

tyre Snow Max 2 was designed for transporting heavy loads, especially in the winter. The V-shaped pattern makes the accumulation of forces along the lengthened axis, helping you to control the vehicle in every situation. A large number of gripping edges, and their excellent positioning, ensures the best traction, which means the tyre can effectively brake on snow and ice - even when driving uphill. The lateral stiffness of the tyre has been increased to maintain the braking performance in dry conditions.

Aquaplaning

Variable winter weather, where snow is followed by rain, often causes the road to be covered with a layer of ice. The Snow Max 2 was created for this type of condition. Even in challenging weather, it gives the driver a feeling of safety. The Snow Max 2 tread pattern features a V-shaped design, as well as wide lateral grooves on the shoulder. These combine to absorb and quickly disperse water, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

Oszczdno Paliwa

Fuel efficiency

The producer of the Snow Max 2 developed an optimised material mix for the compound which improves the tyre's resistance to structural wear and, therefore, extends its tread life. The more durable the tyre, the lower the total cost of ownership.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I was using Uniroyal Rain Max 2 195/65/15 on Corolla Combi 2.0 D4D for years and I was very happy so decided to buy Uniroyal Snow tyres 195/60/16 Max 2 to Sharan 2.0 TDI. My driving is moderate 50/50 city / highway, tyres well stick to the wet surface but not as good as the summer version. Especially getting nasty in the corners - fall into the slip front axle, rear keeps well. In slush - a very decent and even good in deep snow the tyres- not failed me once. And now the worst - abrasion under criticism, the manufacturer should pay the money and withdraw it from the market, because after driving around 10000miles outer edges are almost bald (2 mm tread), the rest of the tread about 5-6 mm. Will note that with each change, always check the convergence and the suspension of the VW Dealership. The efficiency of the suspension (just did a review) of 82%. After this season, the front is suitable for garbage . Generally the Uniroyal SnowMax 2 has a decent grip on wet, slush and snow ,not bad culture and level of noise , but abrasion - tragic, because it is a tyre for 1 season only and quite expensive too I cant recommend it. Opinion from outside the UK

It is difficult to assess winter tyre if we did not have winter snow. When buying tyres primarily suggested to their comfort, so I decided to buy more expensive and quieter tyre with the signature of a delivery truck is very audible. Generally these tyres well dampen vibrations and absorb inequality. Good grip with the surface while trying to break traction on the ground in quite deep snow. I can not rate venoms in the snow and slush because this winter does not give such an opportunity. After such a distance, and quite hot winter season the Uniroyal SnowMax 2 tyres are in perfect condition.I can recommend. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought the tyres a year ago for the VW Crafter. I thought that the tyres will be good but unfortunately they disappoint me. The tyres clash in the blink of an eye.On the snow the Uniroyals SnowMax 2 are very weak. I live in Mountains where there is heavy snowfall so had to put snow chains, because there was no chance to move uphill. Wasted my money on these tyres, they sold me these tyres in a Volkswagen Saloon with the purchase of the car. Im sure the Dębica tyre will be much better. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I have bought the Uniroyal SnowMax 2 tyres and fitted them on the bus, in the winter it flies on them like on summer tyres - zero traction! they wear off very quickly. After driving thousand miles they are rubbish and almost bold. And after driving 10.000miles the slats has been damaged. The tyres are not worth money I have spent, I would not recommend to anyone for that price. Never again, even in the mud I will not buy this crap. Read more Collapse

I bought the Uniroyal Snow Max 2 tyres just for one season but I think I will keep them a bit longer becouse they are great! The grip on snow and slush is perfect, they are a bit louder but I think its just normal for a proper winter tyres. The Uniroyal Snow Max 2 is a nice looking and not too expensive tyre so I can easily recommend that tyre. I have used these tyres all winter,I did about 10 thousand. miles in the country and Western Europe. Excel great on wet, snowy road. I have not had any problems with them. Small signs of wear. Maybe they are a little bit too loud but Uniroyals SnowMax 2 are the winter tyres and it is unacceptable. I can recommend. Read more Collapse

Fitted these Uniroyals SnowMax 2 tyres to the rear of my VW T25 Camper. The very next night we had heavy snow fall - the grip was staggering. It would go up any hill with no fuss at all, and could stop where cars had failed, then take off on the hill without issue. Money well spent. Read more Collapse
