Vredestein Snowtrac 3 are winter tyres of the premium class. Vredestein company’ product Snowtrac 3 is designed for low- and mid-capacity engines of passenger cars such as, for example, Volkswagen Polo or Mazda 3. Safety and driving’ precision were highly important issues in the construction process of Vredestein Snowtrac 3 tyre. In comparison to its’ predecessors, Snowtrac and Snowtrac 2, the tyre’s performance is to be much better. This is the result of the introduction of the new compound’ composition in the production of the tread.

Vredestein Snowtrac 3 tyre tread’ profile was designed in such a way as to guarantee optimal adhesion to the road bed in winter conditions – on the wet and snowy surfaces. The tyre contains technologically’ advanced, multi-gradual, longitudinal groove arranged crosswise to the driving direction. Owing to the application of open grooves, Vredestein Snowtrac 3 has to attain maximum ability to drain off the water and slush from under the tyre. This effect is intensified by the rounded tyre’s tread. All of the above has to minimise the risk of snowplaning and splush-planing. What is more, additional, deepened cuttings have been used inside each of the grooves, in order to ensure regular tread wear. Its’ changeable depth has to ensure optimal pressure’ transfer and also maintenance of the tyre’s properties despite tread wear. Silica-polymer compound- Optimum Silica & Polymer Processing (OS&PP) has been adapted in the construction of Vredestein Snowtrac 3. It has to guarantee good adhesion on the dry but, first of all, on the wet and snowy surface. Concerning the driving’ comfort, Vredestein Snowtrac 3 tyre is really quiet owing to the use of Centre Shift system which is based on the left and right profile’ side shift viewing the middle tyre’s belt. Such a solution also has to increase the passive safety.

Vredestein Snowtrac 3 tyre works perfectly in winter conditions, even in the mountaineous terrain. It is, therefore, recommended for the drivers who often drive on hard routes in winter.

Vredestein Snowtrac 3 is the winter tyre of the premium class. Vredestein company’ product Snowtrac 3 is designed for low- and high-capacity engines of passenger cars.

    Opinion from outside the UK

The tyre is just great. The tread looks almost like the tractor tyre, promising good behaviour in the snow. And finally, the snow fell. And because the municipal services of my estate rarely dine, I cut loose in the snow. I was going uphill and turning without a problem, almost like on chains, the wheel jumped at first but then pushed the car uphill. On wet and dry, the grip is great too. Clearly makes noise when on wet during acceleration. Generally speaking, I would highly recommend. And one more thing, Vredestein tyres are considered to be very persistent when it comes to abrasion. Opinion from outside the UK

I was encouraged mostly by ADAC test where this tyre won 1st place (in another test of the same model but different size also was in the forefront). Tyre noise level is no different from the summer - a big plus. The snow stick firmly, though the side slide at high speed and slippery roads can be noticed - so far I managed to check through this short period when snowing, Didn't check the ice performance though. Model released in 2008, so there is no risk of byuing some old stock :) Personally, I'm very happy Read more Collapse

I have been driving on these tyres for the third season, no matter how much snow on the road, the car goes on, plus the quattro drive, so all the way through the drifts, etc. :) Braking distance is very short, so the tyres do not lose control even for a moment on icy roads. Talking about the normal, reasonable ride, of course :) I really recommend these tyres. Read more Collapse

As a taxi driver very bad snow can be the difference between earning and not earning. These tyres are fantastic and can get my taxi to places no other cars etc would even attempt to venture. I can get 2 winters usage out of them with combined mileage of approx 25,000 miles so they pay for themselves and most of all give me 100% confidence when driving in snow. Read more Collapse

Sensational tyre, the car keeps to the road very well, short braking distance, behave well in the slipping mud, the wheels do not just grind but gets the car off the hook. Perfect for the winter and are worth investing the money. I would recommend. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Basically, the tyre has 2 modes: 1) calm when others ubijają snow under the tyres to get out of drifts, these tyres do not you just go with it, well, sometimes you need to rock the holidays auto ... 2) my favorite - GAS! sometimes in large wet snow, auto just does not want to park, stands on the site where the bumper snowdrift, so if you give gas and clouds of wzbijanego snow / mud leap into place :) Revel! no snowy day so I'm not surprised, frost, cold, and you get in and just leaving the snow on the threshold ... When it comes to braking, ABS does not have, but pulsed doing very well. When the brake depressed, there is no effect sled, just stop, it is true slip is but small. On curves, with 50 in the compacted snow, it is still and no-slip control, I really like it ... Uślizg appears at "depnięciu" but it's probably normal. It happened to me once that I could not move for people wyślizganym by other cars, but I put 2 and it worked as well, so ... + again. The fact that little hum on the tarmac, at 110 noise starts to be heard at the beginning I did not know how to ... but after a while I realized that it Vredki the hum ... but come on ... In conclusion-I have a new from the store, and if you wear out a pile of new, same, because I do not even know what you need without tyres without spikes?! Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought the tires described read reviews on the net that great ocher and so on. after testing to certify that these tires are unlikely to recommend that tires are even a little worse than Debica Frigo, where the snow leaving a high Vredestein anymore. for the first two years, even cool, but no revelations read on the net, that's just a bad tire, keeping up the road and quiet ... but after 2 years and about 15 thousand miles a fairly rapid wear (I do not go too aggressively), which causes the 4 summer tire with the course of about 20-25 thousand miles has suddenly 3mm tread (analogous Debica 5 mm). Passat now sold and bought a Subaru (4WD), to which I founded, first used in the Passat vredesteiny and then also used Dębice: on vredesteinach car skidding often flies too easily skid on a regular Debica is much better ... I do not want to praise here frigo, so that kind of cool, but now I do not have such a direct comparison with another model of winter tires on one car, because I know that I already heap more if only I Vredestein 10 guests praised here .... I had, used, and currently the only plus of this tires is that I drive slowly, because'm afraid accelerate :) teeth will not slip Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought a new tire, the incomplete 3 seasons drove about 10 thousand. miles and the tires are still almost like new. To get the most out of them to enjoy, pumped with nitrogen. Now, after pressure correction at the beginning of the season I can ride without pumping a few months (and check the pressure!) The first thing you notice is the look. Beautiful, unusual for a winter tire tread, thin sides, the tire is very light. But it is not at the expense of efficiency or-by all appearances-sustainability. The tire performs very well in the wet, even in winter conditions mżawek ore at +3. On black ice, of course, already is slipping, but there are no miracles (although some adhesion is, it is not a complete lack of control). Most, however, the tire will show on the snow! I had the opportunity to see, among others, driving about 200 km along the road not cleared of snow Easter Monday in 2013 :). Really, really good going after kopnym and lightly packed snow, leaving the snow-covered car parks, etc.., No problems. Tire loud at highway speeds (loud noise), but the real winter tyre think he must be so. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I drove on these tyres 20tyś. km by 2 seasons in the difficult mountainous terrain. Excel well, every day it is difficult to assess their values, car runs perfectly but it was difficult conditions show the advantages of the tyre over the other (never ridden on Michelin or Goodyear). One time after heavy wet snow on a steep and long driveway up the hill I was the only passenger car that was able to overcome hill, along the way I passed several cars on the side of the road or people pushing buksujące car, on the way the mass traces of "dancing" on the aprzeciwka only roadster I passed. Yes bezprzerwy buksowały wheels but reaches deep (auto peugeot 206 1.9d). In addition, no problems with traction even on icy roads. I would recommend these tyres to anyone who hesitates. In my line of work where a lot of moving around the area, and often heavily buried roads never failed me, and I did not have to look for the tractor to come to the rescue. Read more Collapse

Often moving forest road, and unfortunately my seicento this is not created. I was looking for this winter, at least a little something that will help me in a really difficult terrain, and found no vredesteiny. The first feelings were mixed, but it soon became apparent that the new tires have to get a little bit longer than the other. Then I could not praise it highly enough. The car stops almost in place, and on packed snow fared better than SUVs colleague. Also twice I managed to get out unscathed from slipping on the steep road covered with mud from melting snow. If not for these tires, probably one of these slips would end up rolling and a second entrance to the tree. The only drawback is relatively more noise, but in exchange for security is a very good replacement. Read more Collapse

Uses these tires on the front of the C5 and so Continentale. What can I say .. Unless previously was using these CONTINETAL in conjunction with Maborami (tragedy tragedy tragedy and once again-never again!) Is moved out to me from the adverse situation that the latter posed on the rear of the vehicle, however, despite their quality are worse than Vredsteinów. Very nice hook on the road surface. They are, however, two drawbacks - the voice and the cracks in the tread. Themselves are loud, and the construction of the tread even though it is good that allows the attachment of a variety of objects from the road which eventually dotatkowo hum (because they simply fall into the tread). Too slow to consume. I would definitely recommend. Read more Collapse

I wish to comment on anything inadequate price for the offered goods. In a nutshell. First Large uślizg side. Second When accelerating, braking, cornering at speed of 20-40km / h ABS, ESP and all of the electronics at the moment the switches on the dashboard of a Christmas tree. 3rd At speeds 20km/hw 2nd gear in the car on wet pavement is not slowed down, slip and falls into the second car stuknęło while maintaining a distance between cars. In earlier Debice that I had are those that match the entyre front line, I'm wondering about such high opinions. I drove to the tyrech 2 seasons in different conditions and with a clear conscience I can recommend them! tyres never failed me! On dry and wet roads and the snow job of perfectly ... On the ice it is not bad ... tyres very soft, comfortable and quiet - the volume of summer tyres ... It is true that in the wet the distinctive whistle, but for me it is a plus, because it allows them know when the surface is wet, and when the icy ... Rolling resistance a little higher than in summer Yokohamach ... Regarding wear it after 2 seasons and 12000 km no visible wear (of course, a lot depends on your driving style), so I think that 6 season passes are on them ... AGAIN ALL undecided recommend! I have it set up to Zafira A 1.8 125km. After two seasons tires użytkowania.Kupiłem them based on ADAC tests. Some while driving and braking straight and in curves on dry, wet, slush and snow. Minor wear. Noise in the normal, niedokuczliwy. It mainly uses in the city, the area around the city and for short distances with the maximum highway speeds. Sometimes it is a long route highway or ekspresówką. They have one gripe for me - it's annoying enough that the second set I did not buy. Crap. So far I've used Debica FRIGO 2 and the Snowtrac3 peeled back to them. Encouraged me to buy my oponiarz giving me the ADAC tests. Unfortunately the tyres do not meet my expectations. At the turn of the arc instead of a car going straight, while moving the slush to the front wheels slip, the stopping distance increases. In deep snow also no revelation. This phenomenon can only explain the fact that my seller has chosen me for narrow tyres for the car. Owner Audi A6 1.9 TDI, in the summer I ride a 205/516, and in the winter I bought 195/65/15. If the tyre size is a matter of honor to ask if you do not, it maintains that it is crap. Read more Collapse

These tyres have only one drawback: quite soft compound means that the tyres are prone to puncture - maybe I had bad luck, but every time a car borrowed from zonkie, returning from slipper :-/. For the following two seasons is a bit of broken plates, which is not in my Savach (where virtually no signs of use after one season and a pretty little snow). Besides - the same advantages: on dry, wet, snow and mud car behaves exactly the same way, that goes where you want. On the ice - you know, you may be surprised, it's only saving spikes. For this look great, quiet ride, and they are not particularly expensive, definitely worth the money. Read more Collapse

A very pleasant surprise, the tyres very comfortable, quiet, they go in the snow, just a fairy tale. Daja the trick perfectly, even on a very icy tyre nawieżchni what little he can. Surprisingly good grip on wet roads. A lot of traveling around 60 thousand. km per year. I compare with the Dunlop M3, 3D, with GoodYear UG 7, Firestone, etc., and I think it's the best tyre of those who had so far. I tested it and the Alps and on dry highways, and every day I live in the mountains and I can in good conscience recommend it. In this size with a diesel engine really well in 100%. The tyre just great! Starting from the appearance of the behavior on the road. Przypadkkowo not won the ADAC test and is similar in size. I am very pleased. The first drive in the snow and impressions in November, have been fully confirmed now that the snow has fallen on public holidays. The tyre behaves just super open and firmly wyjeżdżonym snow. You can easily move up the hill standing on the packed snow which sometimes is not easy even in good winter tyres. Subtract a bit of noise. On wet roads are just very loud, dry and snow is in order. Actually writes in kopnym snow, what about the rest was to be expected with such a tread. In other circumstances, it is only mediocre. It has a fairly hard blend which is characterized by high durability and a good keeping tread on dry asphalt (for zimówkę), but the mud or water is comparable to the much cheaper Sava Eskimo S3 + so I think it is not worth that price.
