Yokohama GEOLANDAR I/T G071 is a premium class winter tyre. Yokohama is an independent, Japanese tyres producer e.g. for the highest class luxury cars. Yokohama GEOLANDAR I/T G071 guarantees optimal adhesion on ice. Owing to the special, icy rubber compound applied, durable tread has been created. It will be sufficient for driving many thousands miles even in the most difficult winter conditions use. Additionally, the tyre ensures high driving comfort.
Yokohama GEOLANDAR I/T G071 has been designed with the view to the increasing group of the SUV users. It has been equipped with an asymmetrical tread that ensures high driving parameters on each kind of winter surface; on wet, dry, icy or snowy surface. Modern rubber compound based on polymers resistant to low temperatures and with the addition of active carbon compounds has been used in the production process. Material obtained does not lose softness and flexibility even in the low temperatures. Moreover, it is highly resistant to wear and mechanical damage. In order to ensure proper protection on wet and snowy road, two straight and two zigzag, circumferential grooves connected with lateral canals have been used. Straight grooves respond for efficient water removal from the tyre’s contact surface, whereas the zigzags guarantee optimal adhesion and handling even while deep snow driving. As a result of such a carving, the tyre ensures high protection level from hydro- and snowplaning. Solid rib with serrated edges which responds for steering the car can be found in the tyre’s central part. Its construction ensures good adhesion even to the irregular surface as well as precise transfer of the steering wheel movements.
Yokohama GEOLANDAR I/T G071 tyre has been designed for the winter season especially for the SUVs. It belongs to the premium class ensuring the best performance.
