Yokohama S.drive AS01

Very good driving properties. It is very hard to force ABS or ESP to turn on. Yokohamas SDrive act like glued to the tarmac but.... they are stiff very stiff and a bit noisy. If somebody likes sport impressions these tyres are perfect for that. Stiff suspension will be more tough. People who care about the driving comfort can be annoyed because of their stiffness. there aren't very tragic but I had more silent and more comfortable tyres in my life. Read more Collapse

Fantastic tyre. Damp, greasy and wet conditions dealt with without any trouble. Massive grip on corners. Fuel consumption not as good as other premium brands. But they stop when you need them to. Tyre appearance also enhances the look of the car. Friends and family have also used the S-Drive on their cars and are delighted with wet performance. The best tyres that I have ever driven on. On wet and dry road they are probably glued to the tarmac. No skids and grip losses. i used Goodyears Exellence, they weren't bad but Yokohamas come from a higher league. Very silent, they have wider tread surface in comparison to Goodyear. didnt wanna pay massive amounts for tyres but wanted quality.. tried these for rear of my bmw 330d msport 255/35/18.. very please with them, good grip on dry and wet roads.. a little tyre roll but my old goodyears had a little too.. all in all very happy Read more Collapse

Very satisfied. These tyres definitely summer tyres. Below 10 degrees they are a bit to stiff so I dont advise to be frantic. They look very nice and they grip perfectly. The attriction is lower in comparison to Toyos. I recommend them for sure. Read more Collapse

This is the second set of new tires Yokohama, which utilizes. Previous I assumed to Octavia - the C-drive - and I was pleased with them. Currently operated S-drive AS01 are not cheap, but the price justifies their values. For me they are better than C-drive properly in each category of behavior on the road, and especially their grip in dry conditions is very good. Wet it is good, but keep moderation! In my Peugeot (purchase new in the living room) were 15 "GoodYeary Eco, which disappointed me definitely. After a year of riding I dropped them in favor of new and larger 16" Yokohama S-Drive and not for a moment regret the expense - it was a good decision! I would recommend these tires to other users who like to drive, not just move from point A to B! Read more Collapse

Very cool donuts, excel in dry conditions. A little bit better could stick in the wet. Great working in tight corners. Extremely quiet at high speeds of 160- 220 km / h. Rubber compound seems to be awfully hard, but they are not in the index Y. After about 20 000 km noticed that the rear axle donuts from the inner side are zząbkowane, so I made an adjustment rear suspension geometry, swapped wheels at the back to the front and see if it will do cause if you do not need to advertise. I'm using Yokohama tires in three cars (including small czteronapędowym) in both summer and winter. Tires for high performance driving though their attrition is to say, Db or very good (but not the goal. :-)). I can safely recommend these tires to any type of car. Super tires. Despite its small width (205) very well stick to the road. Very well stick to dry. Ideal for sporty driving. The start and cornering - a revelation. Good rubber for sport riding on the road, on the track better to use dedicated tire as 048 but as chewing every day are a cut above the the brands in this measure. The tire behaves very well on dry pavement, wet occasionally happen slippage when accelerating and cornering with dynamic driving. The tire very quiet. The relatively low durability of the tire - after covering 25000 km (2 seasons) tires are suitable for exchange. Read more Collapse

I purchased these to go on the front of my ST as i had pilot super sport already on the back (another brilliant tyre from openeo) but when my s-drives arrived i noticed that they looked a very wide tyre for the size (205) so i got them fitted on wheels at local garage .. Got home and i took my wheel with the michelin sports on off and compared the width to my wheel with the s-drive ... I was pleasantly surprised to see that the s-drives were a good inch wider than the super sports even though both tyres were the same size 205/45/17 ... So i put the s-drives on the back and switched the super sports to the front .... My ST now looks awesome at the back with the wider tyres whilst having superb look and grip on the front from the pilot super sports ... another happy customer oponeo 😀👍 Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres because i felt in love with their design and after reading a few reviews. Obviously I wasn't disappointed. I put them onto my Passat B5 1.8T (after chip tuning 190BHP). They perform very good. They are silent (even when driving 140MPH). They are pretty soft and thanks to that they dont care about holes etc. They provide me with confidence and perfect handling :)) I used ContiContiPremium 2 in the same size, which I can recommend as well but after 2 seasons the tread rubbed off almost to zero. I hope that yokohama SDrive AS01 would last for a longer time than contis. The fact is that I drive agressively and fast but I hope that yokohamas can handle that. Recommend! Read more Collapse

I bought them accidentaly. They were very expensive but the price is high probably because the quality is first class. Yokohama SDrive are brilliant. I was using a huge variety of tyres ususaly the premium class ones and I didn't expect that yokohamas will suprise me so positively. huge surprise. They stick to the tarmac like glued - like magnet. These tyres provide my car with a very confident handling. Full control in corners. SDrive are totally silent even with the speeds of 150MPH. What is more these tyres don't care about ruts. They wholly avoid them. These tyres come with the Rim Protector what is also very useful. i willl definitely buy them again. Read more Collapse

I drove about 1000 miles on these tyres and I think I can say something about these tyres. I wear them in my Honda Civic 6th gen. These tyres are very silent, even on wet road surface they are much more silent than Nokians H (185/50R14), very good grip - even the profie 50. I tested them in Polish mountains. One of the corners there suprised me a bit with its angle but Yokohamas SDrive acquited oneself well. Very good grip on wet road surface and brilliant water draining. Even driving through deep puddles made no problems to these tyres. To sum up, I am very satisfied with Yokoama SDrive AS01. I recommend them. Read more Collapse

I use these tyres for one month now. I put the size of 215/55R15 with the W speed index to my Volvo v70(250HP). My first impression was vero good. I did not feel any difference in comparison to my winter Continentals. They behave properly in every weather condition. They perform similar in the speed of 15MPH as well as 150MPH. They don't slip on wet road surface. I didnt test them on snow because they are not winter tyres. The grip is very good on dry road as well. They act very good in cornering. I was using ContinentalsSportContact 2 recently and I was very satisfied with them. Now I bought Yokohama which were a bit exotic for me but I believe that Japaneese technology will not disappoint me and it didn't. They are a bit better than contis. but I dont know what will happen in the next 10000 miles. They perform better than Conti. My car is more predictable. After Kumho Ecsta SPT U31 and Falken ZE912 (which occured to be the best tyres that I ever used in my 240BHP Volvo) I bought Yokohamas SDrive AS01. I was a bit affraid of them because they come with the reinforced joint and I thought that they won't be silent and comfortable. After I put them onto my Volvo I was shock - positively shocked. Toyota Avensis 1.8 VVTi 05'. Yokohamas SDrive are probably made intentionaly for my car. They are very silent in every speed (tested with speeds of 10-150MPH). Ideal compromise between driving style 'calm' and "fast and agressive". I recommend them to everybody that has a limo with a 'tiny stable' in their cars. Read more Collapse
