Yokohama W.drive V905

I decided to purchase the Yokohama W.drive V905 and I do not regret my decision. I will write about my first impressions connected with these tyres. The size I bought is 195/65R15. The tyres prevent from aquaplaning phenomenon. Their grip in wet conditions is surprisingly good as for Yokohama tyres. I think they cannot be compared to my summer Pirelli PZero but they are still very good. According to the review by ADAC magazine the Yokohama W.drive V905 is the best winter tyre for wet roads. I do agree with this opinion. Despite the fact that in the most demanding weather conditions like deep snow, slush and ice the ABS and ESP systems of my vehicle had to activate from time to time, the tyres have never contributed to a dangerous situation on the road. I feel safe having them mounted on the wheels. Moving off in snow causes no problems. Braking distance is pretty short even in wet conditions. The weak point is cornering in snow but it may be associated with the fact that my vehicle is FWD, not AWD. The tyres are not too noisy. The rubber compound is rather hard. However, they are still comfortable. I have done approximately 6000 miles on these tyres and I have not noticed any serious signs of wear. Good value for money. This is the second set of Yokohama tyres in the family. My wife uses 903 model in her car and she is very happy. I have the Yokohama W.drive V905 in a larger vehicle. The tyre cannot be beaten. I had some Nokians WR2 previously mounted on my car but they were not as good as Yokohama. Only Yokohama gives me confidence on the road. These tyres provide great traction in all conditions, no matter what happens on the road. After driving one winter season (I admit that the winter was rather mild) I can say that the tyres have never let me down. The tyres are good in dry and wet conditions. They are excellent in snow. These winter tyres are rather not designed for driving aggressively. Maybe they have a little bit too soft rubber compound but I am not surprised as they must be more soft than summer tyres as they were designed especially for winter conditions. Read more Collapse

The Yokohama W.drive V905 are one of the best tyres I purchased. I bought them in 2015. They provide very nice ride. Driving is very condifent in snow. I think they can be compared with the best winter tyre on the market which is the Michelin Alpin 4. They are pretty quiet and comfortable. The biggest advantage of these tyres is their grip. They stick to the road which is incredibly important. They look good on a car. What is more, their price is quite reasonable. After doing 4000 miles there are no signs of tread wear. I think they should last for several winter seasons. I would like to recommend the Yokohama W.drive V905 tyres as they are worth their price. These tyres are the best I have had so far. I replaced them in the middle of the season. I had the Nokian WR previously mounted on my vehicle. The difference between these two products exceeded my expectations. Driving on the Yokohama W.drive V905 tyres is really confident. I have a 4x4 car and I drive a lot in snow. Car runs really safe and secure. Going uphill and downhill, even on the ice is a pleasure. I do not know just how long they will behave in the same way. I chose the Yokohama W.drive V905 tyres following the opinion of several different organizations that rated them as the best in the market with regard to adhesion to snow and rain as well as longevity. I am really satisfied with these tyres. They provide comfort. They are not too loud. Now driving my car is a real pleasure. I do cannot hear them although I have a Toyota Prius which is a very quiet car. What is more, the tyres are very effective in snow and rain. They are also quite durable. I decided to buy a set of the Yokohama W.drive V905 tyres a year ago. I am very satisfied with their quality and overall performance. I followed the opinion of my mechanic, who has the same tyres in his BMW. I am not disappointed. I drive mostly in a city. The tyres are great in snow and slush. They were designed especially for demanding winter weather conditions. If you are looking for great quality premium tyres at a reasonable price, the Yokohama W.drive V905 is a tyre for you. I have been driving on these Yokohama W.drive V905 tyres for some time and I can say they are very good. They are doing their job in winter weather conditions. Their rolling resistance is low. The tyres provide good grip and safety on the road. Braking distance is quite short. I am just wondering how would they behave in summer weather. Hello everybody. I would like to share my opinion about the Yokohama W.drive V905 tyres. They are the best tyres I have ever had mounted on my vehicle. Their grip is simply excellent both in dry and wet weather conditions. Now I like to drive in snow and slush. The braking distance is very short. These tyres provide me with sheer driving sensations. The Yokohama W.drive V905 tyres behave ideally on the rear axle of the cars with rear wheel drive. I do recommend both Fulda and Yokohama tyres. They are good enough in snow. There is no understeer. I would like to say that with a clear conscience I can recommend the Yokohama W.drive V905 tyres. The tyres were purchased at a bargain price. Compared to the previous Fulda tires, the Yokohama W.drive V905 are definitely more stable, they provide better grip. Braking distance is much shorter than in the predecessor. My previous tyres were durable but my new Yokohamas are even better! They have never let me down even in the most demanding weather conditions. These tyres fulfill their role in winter. Have not had any real snow this winter but these tyres performed well on what slush we had. No comment on tyre appearance as for me a tyre is a tyre. Given the flood conditions experienced this year I am so glad to have had them on. Have not had tyres on long enough to assess feathering etc. and for me rolling resistance is worth putting up with in winter. Good tyre in my opinion. Read more Collapse

Please check before you fit them have had them on for about 4 months got a puncture and realised the sent two of the same radial this is not good that a company dose not realise that the tyre is radial so I have the same side on the front apart from that no complaints with anything I love the tyres and will be putting parada spec 2 on soon Read more Collapse

And I'm disappointed with these tires. I bought a new toy cars and everything was decently outside the large volume and resistance until the first snowfall and here begins the drama. Yokohama I bought because I still remember sensational summer C -drive AC02 at którch I had the impression that I was going by tram rails and not by car along the way. Tires used in the city and on the highway, mainly in the rain. They are mercilessly loud howl at low speeds and high loud roar. Unfortunately I can not make a judgment on the behavior of the tire on the snow this year because it did not show. irreproachable behavior on dry and wet. Very good tire, I bought it at a special price and I am very satisfied. The snow very well behaved, ABS late react which is a big plus !!! On dry tires as very good as the snow. Tempted to not following good reviews read here. I go to them now second season and I must admit that it does not fail, and all the good reviews about them are justified.
