The tire responds no surprises in any situation, in this way allows us to face challenging courses without having the feeling of being on the road holding the edge.

I would recommend for people who appreciate the security, performance and durability of the tire but as in life at the expense of comfort (tire stiff)

I did about 12 thousand miles on these tyres and so far I am very satisfied. The most important thing to me was that the tyre had to be the most effective in braking on wet and... I wasn't disappointed! As for me, they behave sensationally on wet. I even did some "try-out" braking on wet and I hit the brake pedal to the floor at about 50 MPH. On smooth, wet pavement my car stopped almost on the spot. ABS switched on as usual, but only for a brief moment. Another anvantage is the handling in the corners... excellent on dry, very good on wet. I'm just waiting to see how many miles I will do on them, because so far they appear to have little wear. The drawback for me is handling in the ruts. You have to hold the steering wheel firmly because it may sverve when coming out of a rut. But for me it's not a problem, and a big advantage is excellent braking on wet. I know that if they last 30 thousand miles, the next purchase will be Birdgestone Turanza ER300 again!

Good touring tyre, ideal on the rear for long motorway miles and A/B roads. Driven quite hard and grippy. (Have not used on the front)

Since January 2005 I've been reading what I could find about different tyre models. ER300 was the leader of many tests. I don't remember what was the reason of purchase (certainly not the price as they weren't cheap), I fitted two to check them out. First few miles were very disappointing - I wanted to fit my Barum Bravuris 2s back! But after about 350 miles they showed their true potential which ensured me I made a good choice. They handle well on both dry and wet. They lead the car where I want, and they're very predictable. No matter of the surface is dry or wet, braking is very good. Rolling resistance is maybe a little higher than on stock Firestones and Bravuris and are a bit lounder because of that, but it's not annoying. When it comes to abrasion, I did about 35 000 miles on them and I'm sure they will do well till the end of this season. I wrote that I'll buy them egain for 95%. I left that 5% in case someone convinced me to get something better.

In a nutshell, after a month driving around the city as standard and 5 thousand km. between Poland and Turkey-Greece-Macedonia-Albania-Montenegro-Poland, I must admit that I am very pleased tyres. Auto 180 hp and dynamic both in city driving and boring on the road - tyres very well kept roads. Tested heavily in the summer with occasional rainfall.

Very good tyres, braking excellent - summer abs virtually nothing to do. In winter, I have not tested. The tyre allows for a lot more than the standard suspension allows my car (corolla). As for the 16 "and a height of 10cm profile very good comfort. Regretted not buying not for a moment.
