Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 are fitted to Volvo v50 2.0D and behaves very good on wet and snowy roads, poorly on dry. The soft blend makes the car to run a little uneasy, especially when overtaking. Quieter than Summer ContiSportContact 5, fuel consumption higher by about 0.2, but it is a matter of lower temperatures. As a disadvantage that causes more of them do not buy this poor sidewall tyres despite the high profile 205/55 May two front tyres on the side of small cracks probably formed when they enter the hole. Previously on Bridgestone Blizzak I did about 3 seasons without any damage, were weaker for Conti in the snow, but driving on the roads cleared of snow much much better (almost like in the summer).
