Purchased a set for my bmw x6 Front 275 and back 315 I have nothing to complain about except the fact the the tyres got used quite fast- 7000 miles and i got 4 cm left. I drive quite calm and im not an aggressive driver whatsoever. Given the price of the tyres i was expecting a bit more. Overall good

I was looking for a tyre for the most difficult conditions, i.e. the first few minutes of rain when the asphalt has a slippery coating, and I finally found the Dunlop SP Sport MAXX, which is ideal for cornering.

Amazing looking tyre, quite noisy, sensational grip on dry tarmac - on wet tarmac I unfortunately had a couple of occasions when the car didn't drive as it should (but only when cornering at speeds beyond the limits of common sense). In normal driving they do not give any unpleasant surprises. The tyres are quite hard, so lateral drift when cornering fast is virtually non-existent (tyres front 225/45/R17 rear 245/40/R17 and rear drive). After around 6,000 km there are hardly any signs of wear - the Dunlop lettering on the tread is still visible. For the money I would expect better wet performance, but it's still a great tyre - maybe a little too expensive. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

The harsh ride (rear drive) is a lot of fun but results in quite rapid abrasion, something for something....

Good value for money. One of the few tyres in this class made in Germany :) Very good performance on dry roads and not bad on wet roads. We will find out later about the service life

After a mileage of about 15000 / 20000 these tyres can already be replaced !!!!!!! It is a mockery that a tyre should be worn out so quickly, it has only been 8 months since the replacement. I have not written any comment because only today I am in a position to say something about these tyres, unfortunately in a negative way. I will never buy these tyres again !!!!

Regarding tyres - tyres represent excellent handling on dry pavement, they are really quiet, good holding ground. Pretty soon the clash (this is the cost of a relatively soft rubber) so you are so tacky and dry. The situation changes quite a bit when it starts to rain, the tyre slip when braking and starting, cornering never so far not felt the sensation slip what is important and here a big plus. Use - to work every day 40km one way out of town. every day in the hometown of the mountainous nature. Every Sunday in the forest road, "tight" is not paved. For those who have not benefited from a shop Oponeo - highly recommended. Regards

Originally had Dunlop Sportmaxx on the car from new but switched to Falken FK 452 and 453. The performance and life of the Falkens was very dissappointing (only 15,000KM). So I switched back to the Sportmaxx. They are a decent tyre, I was a bit dissappointed with life of only 22k on the original factory fitted ... but they have very good kerb protection and we'll see how much we get out of the this new set; hoping for more than 22k.
