Fitted in early October and used mainly in temperatures above 10 degrees c until a recent cold snap with snow when I got a chance to test them out, the Jag felt very secure in the light snow and slush (even uphill) only twitching when on patchy ice. Very impressed.

Great tyres, low noise and doesnt let you down on any weather. Great on snow. But there is one issue woth them. They dont have great stiffness. Too soft for rear wheel drive car. Up to 60mph everything ok. Above it is unpleasant to drive. It looks like gliding left or right om motorway. Went to germany autoban and on higher speed it os worth. Looks like loosing handling. So if you are slow driver these tyres are perfect for any winter condition.

I decided to purchase the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres quite a long time ago. They were not cheap but I took into consideration their overall performance, good reviews, nice labeling and therefore I decided to buy a set. The tyres provide a road safety and there is no more important thing when it comes to driving a car. I have done approximately 2000 miles in different weather conditions (wet roads, heavy rain, slush, snow and ice). I have a rich experience in driving (I am a driver for more than 34 years and I've done more than 1 million miles. My driving style is rather not an aggressive one. I have only one thing to say - the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres are superb and I do not regret buying them. I had Pirelli Sottozero winter tyres previously mounted on my vehicle and I had some problems with balancing and a wheel alignment. My Honda Accord was skidding in corners and I experienced some problems while driving in deeper snow. Now I have a sense of comfort in all conditions. Even in these most demanding. I tested these tyres in slush and on a wet road and my Honda sticks to the road. The noise level of the tyres is very low. They are really quiet. Driving is extremely comfortable on these tyres despite the fact that I have a hard suspension (typical of Honda). Concluding, the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres are worth their price. It is better to spend a bit more money in order to feel safe in winter. I recommend these tyres to all drivers who look for safety and comfort.

I can honestly recommend tires. They allowed you to move freely in fresh snow, a ride on slush, or a fine snow powder blown on the road. The most important test, however, was the driveway to the garage hall on a steep sliding downhill - there was a really big positive surprise, many cars slipped and saw in place, and I climbed up on Dunlop tires calmly and slowly. Only one ignition of the control from the traction control throughout the winter, I consider it a big success and merit just tires :-) They give a sense of security in all conditions, and in the final analysis is probably the most important.
