Damn are these tyres good, Bought them for the snow we get in the Peak district, and they proved to be excellent, went through a foot plus of snow with no trouble at all. also tyres are not as loud as I was led to believe, in fact I find them very quiet, overall I would rate these tyres as the best, and a pretty good price as well.

I have been using General Grabber AT2 on my Navara for two months, and now I can say somthing about its performance in winter, and I can recommend it with a clear conscience. It just shoots forward on both snow and mud, on ice it behaves like every other tyre. I heard it was to slide on wet - I can't confirm that. When it comes to noise, it's not bad, you can hear it between 25 and 60 MPH. At higher speeds all you hear are other noises. Generally speaking, General Grabber AT2 is a tyre worth recommending.

A good choice of tyre, but one we had made several years ago for our last GV. The reviews were still good so there was no debate, I had to have them again.

I can recommend General Grabber AT2 tyres. I have been using them since autumn and I've been driving on wet, mud, snow and in other conditions - and I have nothing to complain about. In winter, on ice it behaves like every other tyre - you just have to "support" it with your imagination. I can also recommend it for another reason - it's large and heavy amd elastic at the same time, therefore it absorbs bumps better - simply the car doesn't bump and jump as much, at least I can see it in my Navara. Overall, General Grabber AT2 is a good choice for AT tyres.

Excellent tyres! I've taken the pickup as Farr off road as possible until I got stuck going forward and the pickup reversed out no problem!

Absolutely fantastic all round tyre. Highly recommended. I do a mix of on and off road driving including motorways and these will happily sit at 70 plus mph and just as well in the mud. Driving a quiet V8 at motorway speeds any road and tyre noise would be very noticeable but these really impress and very little noise is heard (I've noticed more modern cars suffer more tyre noise) Extremely durable and long lasting tyre too. Very happy and will happily dress my other 4x4s in these boots in the future.

I decided to get General Grabber AT2 tyres, because BFGoodrich does not produce tyres for 18 inch wheels. And I can definitely say I am pleasantly surprised. It's definitely quieter on the pavement. It's hard to say something about off-road conditions, as I haven't gone into harder terrain so far. The tyre is significantly softer than the BFGoodrich AT, therefore I assume they will theoretically perform better on snow, but on the other hand, they will probably wear off faster. But, something for something... The fact is, General Grabber AT2 are the only AT tyres available for a Discovery II with 18 inch wheels. Also, I can say that this tyre perfectly absorbs shocks from holes in the pavement.
