After a three-month use in autumn-winter period (virtually in all conditions) I can definitely recommend Goodyear Vector 4Seasons. My previous summer tyres were Michelin Primacy HPs and Klebers were my winter ones. In everyday driving I don't see significant differences. A little louder than normally. A bit worse traction on deep snow. On dry they are very good. As the description and test say, they are slightly worse in extreme cases - they don't like aggressive driving. They provide high safeity especially during transitional periods where the most frequent surprises are conditions unrelevant to the tyres fitted.

Very good tyre insofar as it id a compromise between off-road – were excellent and on road where modest increase in rolling resistance. Much too soon to comment on tiyre wear. As a bonus does look very 'macho' if you are in to this years tyre fashion !

The tyre is loud, compared to summer Continental ContiPremiumContacts and winter ContiWinterContacts, but in comparison with, for example winter Uniroyals, they are great. There's no problem on snow, I drove on them up the hill on snowy road, on which there was an order of using chains, without using snow chains. As for my sports driving style, the grip in the corners is a bit too weak, the car can swerve to outside lane when exiting the bend. During normal driving, up to 80 MPH, it's not noticeable. Clearly audible in summer, if loud or not - it depends what tyre was used before :-)

Tires exercise properly in all conditions. For wet and dry asphalt behave confidently, snow and ice are predictable and allow for stress and a smooth ride. I did not feel the difference compared with winter tires on snow and ice. On dry and wet pavement are a bit noisier than summer tires. Very good option for those who do not like change and annual mileage tires are not too high.

Good all rounder, though will let go quite sharply, with little warning if pushed beyond the limits. Great in snow and in very cold weather (if you know how to drive in these conditions, which most people don't). excellent in the wet, very little aquaplaning unless you hit water over 2" deep at anything above 60mph in which case hang on tight and learn to drive a powerboat!

I bought these tyres with a new car, I decided not to change to winter tyres, and I'm not disappointed. If you don't drive in mountain area and on routes which are not clear of snow, it's fine. In summer they're a little too loud and have less grip in tight corners. I recommend Goodyear Vector 4Seasons for cars used mainly in the city :)
