I would buy this tyre again as it is superior to the more expensive BRIDGESTONE, especially in the rain.

I wanted to mount new tyres on my vehicle before I go on my holidays. I was looking for some Toyo or Vredestein tyres. However I chose Hankook Ventus S-1 Evo2 K-117. When I compared them with Fuldas (I bought my car with Fulda tyres, which had 6mm tread depth), I was really impressed. These two are as different as chalk and cheese. Hankook Ventus S-1 Evo2 K-117 tyres are very silent, they have a good grip. Until now I have not noticed an aquaplanning phenomenon. The car is very stable at high speed (over 130 mph). In my second car I have Hankooks K115 and I am extremely happy with their quality.

Hankook Ventus S-1 Evo2 K-117 tyres have a really good traction on both dry and wet surface. I would say that they are even better than equivalent Michelin tyres, which are considered to be the best. Generally speaking these are great tyres dedicated especially to small and light cars I guess. All in all I think it would not be a problem to mount them on a heavier RWD vehicle. My brother has Hankook tyres in his car and he is very satisfied with the quality. Over time I changed them for Michelin tyres and I must say I do not feel a significant difference. Both Hankook and Michelin are superior brands that offer a premium quality products.
