Nokian WR G2 was used in Ford Mondeo MKIV. This year, the first heavy snow fell so I can write something about them. By moving out, it can be felt how the tyre bites into snow, by braking there are also no problems, especially as one has to take away the car's weight - 1600 kg. On the icy surface it behaves as any other tyre, so some skills are indispensable and one has to drive reasonably. I wait for more snow in order to test the tyre in the deep snow. I will write my observations after the tests. In general, I recommend Nokian WR G2 which I chose reading the reviews of people who had already bought it. Regards ;-)

I had a choice of four tyres, Uniroyal 66, Nokia, Dębica Frigo 2, and Sava. The last two dropped out due to lack of stock, and have Uni, Nokia. Nokia Oponiarz ordered on alloy wheels because of the edge protection, agreed. Behavior in winter conditions judge very positively. A trip to the Silver Mountain (20.12.2009r.) Temperature -17 st, and heavy snow. I had no problems starting, braking and maneuvering even in 10cm of snow do not make trouble. My Stilon MW unfortunately not rode uphill for quite a considerable slope in the snow about 10cm, the tyre started to slide, but after checking it was clear that the asphalt is icy. I'm glad they are quiet on the highway at a speed of about 150 km / h you can hear a gentle swish, nothing annoying. Overall, I would recommend, but do not know how to be exercised Uniroyal, I can say with jesstem happy with my purchase. The difference in summer and winter tyres, colossal.

Translation

Never let me down. Safe, gives great confidence and is a strong (curbs, holes). Only louder on either the positive temperatures. As I went to the Academy of Safe Driving in winter is heard: Well, yes ... Traction controls and even the tyres ... do not jump around ... I just BRILLIANT!

Astounding feedback in all conditions. Will lock up in ice but without the severity of other tyres meaning control is easy to get back. In the dry they feel like they are going to rip your suspension off but as temps go above 10 degC you will detect some 'squirmyness' due to the soft compound and deep tread. Rolling resistance is better than my summer tyres and the comfort on motorways is second to none. In snow I was actually aiming for the snowy patches everyone else was avoiding.
