225/40/18 can only rate these tyres very high. Used in the Scottish Highlands this winter and have done exactly what I wanted of them. So good in fact that they should be fitted to every car up here by law! My Bridgestone potenzas fitted to my vrs Octavia got quite hard in the cold weather and had to come off as they were spinning and noisy. No such problems with the vred Q3's . probably not as good as a full winter, but take it a bit easier and you won't go wrong. Never got stuck once with them 5*****

hello I decided on a tire-season because of the economic to the car which makes small runs mainly in the city. What was my great surprise as the tires were found to be better than the winter, that I have a second car. Definitely better tire grip on dry and wet roads, even the snow did not see advantages of winter tires.
