I was looking for a comfortable tyre with a low profile, but also with sports characteristics, and Vredestein Ultrac Cento met my requirements. Driving comfort is very good despite low profile, noise is almost inaudible - it's very quiet. Tread wear is moderate, however the tyre seems to be a bit soft, I can't see visible signs of wear after 8000 miles. Generally, I drive fast and dynamically, the 2.5 V6 engine in my car only encourages to do so, and the tyre allows to do much. In my opinion, if someone likes to drive fast and comfortable at the same time, Vredestein Ultrac Cento is the tyre perfect for such purpose.

I had problems with Vredestein Ultrac Cento in the very first season of use - I felt vibrations at ca. 90 MPH. After a long struggle (wheel re-balancing, brake disc control) ot turned out that the tyres are deformed. I made a warranty claim and had both tyres replaced (their vibrations were 10,5 kgs and 10 kgs). The other two weren't replaced as they had the vibration of "only" 9 and 9,5 kgs... I continue to use them, but the wheel still vibrates... Vredestein Ultrac Cento may look nice, but they are definitely not for use on a heavy car!

Very good tires it is actually the highest shelf. I bought tires in size 225/45 17 I started them in late winter, exercised as far as good as a summer tire. After about 15 thousand. you do not see a trace of abrasion. Quiet and very comfortable. For sure I will return to this brand.

Quiet, well-made, durable, a little weaker in the wet. Overall, a good choice and would rather pile them again.

The Vredestein Ultrac Cento I bought are fitted to a Skoda Superb Mk2 2.0 TDI DSG (170 BHP). Unfortunately, after 1,5 years I got bulges on two front tyres. The tyres are worth the price, but the price of 400 pounds per set and not 150 pounds per tyre as it was earlier. I have used them for two seasons and did ca. 15 thousand miles. When it comes to tread wear, they wear surprisingly slow. They behave best on warm pavement, but unfortunately I can’t use them more aggressively in the car I have as it is a bit long and TC on the rear switches on when you overdo. Unfortunately, as for the UHP tyre, they hum too much above 60 MPH, and such phenomenon wasn’t present in a lower class product – Nankang in this case. If I was to choose new tyre in the price up to 600 pounds other than Vredestein Ultrac Cento, it would be Continental ContiSportContact 3 or CSC 5, as I have such tyres fitted to a Mini Cooper S (200 BHP) and they are perfect on both wet and dry, and they have never squealed – and they passed numerous corners sharply, without cutting. I also decided to change to Nankang AS 1 as they are quieter, and when I do passenger transport, my passengers prefer not to hear humming of the tyres on the motorway, as it is uncomfortable. I don’t use the car on the track, but on public roads, and it’s not a car to use for fun, so the tyres are used in a sensible way. Therefore, I think I don’t need UHP tyres such as Vredestein Ultrac Cento. If I buy a Porsche, then I will fit UHP tyres – for a middle class car, Nankang will be just fine, and I think the fact that these tyres are a revolution in Germany and in the USA is just a confirmation.

Tires excel very well. Sometimes I only have the impression that the rubber is too soft, but it does not translate too rapid wear. Overall, I am most pleased, and edge protection is very well made.
