I purchased these tyres after considering many different brands. I had Nokian WRG2's on a previous car, but these Vredestein tyres are just great and instil confidence under all road conditions. My only gripe is that they pick up the small chippings from my gravel driveway, but I can live with that. These tyres actually look good too - designed for SUV's. They certainly look a lot meatier than the Chinese-made Runway Enduro's that came with the car.

Excellent tyre, great handling, superb car feel even on slippery surfaces. I used the reinforced version of Vredestein Xtreme Wintrac and on a heavy van like mine they give you a feel of total control when driving. I am definitely buying them again. Great product and worth recommending.

BMWs have a reputation of not being good in winter conditions, this is only because they are on the wrong tyres most likely summer ones. My drive to work is 70 miles up the A9 in Scotland where there is frequently snow covered, slushy roads. These tyres together with a bit of weight in the boot have never let me down in depths of snow up to 10"
