    Verified review

I've had Barum Bravuris 2 for the last 7 years and they've been fantastic value for money. I changed from run flats to these after I had the car for 18 months. The set I had previous to this lasted 22,000 miles on the rear and one of the fronts is still going after 28,000 (other front burst on huge pothole). My car handles well in the bends so I tend to carry more speed through corners than some other cars (it does inspire confidence) so while I don't think my driving style is that fast people do comment that I don't hang about. My driving is split 50/50 between motorway and fast winding country roads so the tires have definitely put up with a lot. I did hear these are made by Continental and I don't disbelieve it. Great wet and dry grip paired with durability. Can't go wrong for the money and I will buy again without a doubt. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

In my opinion very good tyres. I am testing them for 2 weeks now (I made about 2000 miles). They are very stabile even with high speeds. Very good grip on wet road. I am very happy with them. Even when driving 90Mph I feel very safe. The car acts like glued to the tarmac. There is no need to correct the streering wheel when the car falls into the hole or puddle. i had bridgestones and i threw them out when I almost crashed in cornering. I was very disappointed. Barum Bravuris 2 are totally different and way much better. I used Bravuris 1 as well and I used 2 sets of them. Bravuris 2 are the same quality or even better. i dont want to be so cheerful about them so I have to say that the only thing that I'm not happy with is the noise level. They are a bit loud but it is not a huge issue. I would recommend! Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought Barum Bravuris 2 as a choice of my own. My friends who have Bravuris in their cars recommended me this tyre. It appeared to be a bullseye! I haven’t read any opinion for I was interested only in certain ones. I drove the entire summer season. I have a car with rear wheel drive and diesel engine. I’m an experienced driver with years of practice. Bravuris is quiet, comfortable and what’s more important – durable. I haven’t noticed any increase on fuel consumption as I drive mainly outside the city. Bravuris 2 handles very well in the rain and as far as now I didn’t have any emergency situation. Braking is without any issues and Bravuris is very well made. As I mentioned I am experienced driver and this tyre meets my demands. Recommended for heavy and strong limousines. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought my new Barum Bravuris and they were made in Germany. I dont have any idea if it has any meaning in that case but I cannot agree with all these people which wrote unpleasant reviews about that tyres. I was driving on Goodyears etc but Bravuris appeared to me as the best tyres I ever used. Even if the temperature falls below 0 these tyres behaves very well. I drive quite agresively and dynamically. I have to addmit that even when I want my car to skid these tyres feel like glued to the tarmac. Especialy on dry road. Perfect braking. The noise level is very low. With the profile 195/50 there always be loud inside the car but with Bravuris the noise is very low. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought Bravuris tyres because: Quality / Price ratio is brilliant. They are ADAC approved (Bravuris got there a 6 or 7 mark out of 10). They have very low rolling resistance and in that particular case they are even better than Conti or GoodYear. According to ADAC: braking and grip in corners is ok - Barum Bravuris 2 were commended and described as worth buying. What I can see in the real life is that these tyres are realy quiet, predictable and they won't suprise you while driving dynamicaly. Nothing dangerous happens even to 100miles. I realy recommend these tyres for all those users who care about the comfort. Read more Collapse

The Barum Bravuris 2 is a summer tyre designed for everyday driving. The outside of the tread features wide rigid blocks, which ensure stability during fast manoeuvring around corners, whatever the weather.

Inside the Barum Bravuris 2 blocks have been firmly secured to ensure optimal performance and safety on wet roads. The asymmetric tread pattern ensures rapid water dispersal and minimises the risk of aquaplaning.

Driving stability on straight roads is provided by three wide circumferential strips in the central part of the tyre, while the silica rubber compound used ensures better grip on wet and dry surfaces and reduced fuel consumption. The Barum Bravuris 2 is also resistant to accelerated wear and mechanical damage.
