A new generation tyre Barum Polaris 5 is the successor to the well-received Polaris 3 model. Manufacturers focused on innovative solutions, even better materials and a very high quality finish to the new model.
The model is intended for winter use in passenger cars and larger SUVs. A note of interest is that Barum gave up on the sequence order and after Polaris 3, Polaris 5 appeared on the market.
For comparison, we have put both models together, and at first glance you can see the differences between the tyres.
To the drivers of the well-known Polaris series, the new version differs in the shape of the tread, although both belong to the same tyre group with directional pattern.
What does Barum Polaris 5 have to offer?
The tread construction is based on a proven directional layout of blocks. Thanks to the three-dimensional sipes, the car starts easily, accelerates and adheres to the road while driving gives the feeling of premium class tyres whereas the brand in fact belongs to the economy class, providing good quality tyres at reduced prices.
The wide grooves and the compatibly positioned elements on the tread area make channelling the water out virtually instantaneously when driving in wet conditions.
Durability and satisfaction is ensured by a modern rubber compound - silica, known to drivers of the premium class tyres range. Its high content means that the tyre retains its properties at different temperatures and the tyre does not wear out prematurely.
The quality of Barum is guaranteed by one of the world's largest tyre group - Continental. The Barum brand provides the market with economical tyres. The brand's history began in Europe, and the plant in Otrokovice is currently one of the most modern tyre factories in Europe. The company has a very wide range of products in its offer designed for passenger vehicles, vans and 4x4s. If you are looking for products whose quality allows trouble-free use safe driving, and does not burn a hole in your wallet, the Barum brand is right for you.
