Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 DriveGuard

3PMSF

The tyre meets the European Union's requirements for winter tyres

Carries the 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Flake) symbol, which is awarded after the model in question has been thoroughly tested for snow grip.

Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 DriveGuard is a premium winter tyre for passenger cars. The fundamental idea behind this model was to combine Bridgestone's two flagship designs, the Blizzak winter tyre series and the runflat technology known as DriveGuard. The former provides comfort, confidence and safety of driving even in very demanding winter conditions. The latter makes the ride comfortable, because even in the event of a puncture, the tyre does not need to be replaced on the spot, but can be driven for about 80 km at speeds up to 80 km/h.

Thanks to the longitudinal zigzag-shaped grooves, the car achieves better grip between the snow drained off by the tread and the snow on the road. The car grips the road very well thanks to this, maintaining stability even on heavily snowed surfaces.

The tread, which consists of two types of sipes - two-dimensional in the centre and three-dimensional around the shoulder of the tyre, gives Blizzak LM005 DriveGuard exceptional braking performance on snow and ice.

The rubber compound produced with the Nano-Protech™ technology specially developed by the Japanese concern is characterised by an even distribution of silica particles. The development of the tyre material has resulted in a winter tyre that boasts top-notch cornering and wet braking performance.

Bridgestone is the largest tyre manufacturer in the world. The success of the Japanese brand is supported by 180 factories and research centres located in more than 150 countries around the world. The company is famous for the production of high quality tyres that meet the expectations of even the most demanding drivers. In 2016, Bridgestone was chosen as the manufacturer of the year.
