Very good performance on dry pavement, a noise level 2 dB lower than the previous model, and a sleek design are just some of the advantages of the Bridgestone Turanza 6 summer tyre. It is a premium product for passenger cars and SUVs.
Tests carried out by TÜV SÜD on tracks in Germany and Italy has confirmed the Turanza 6 tyres' high resistance to aquaplaning both on the straight road and when taking corners. The Japanese manufacturer's new model also performed very well in the category of braking on water-covered asphalt.
An innovation, compared to the previous model of the Turanza line, is the versatility of the tyres. Bridgestone's new product is compatible with cars equipped with conventional power units as well as those with electric motors and hybrids. As a result, driving vehicles with higher torque and heavy batteries does not significantly shorten the lifespan of the tyres.
The model proves that it is possible to combine good traction in all conditions with economy and ecology. Indeed, the Turanza 6 performs very well in terms of wet grip, as well as in the categories of combustion and acoustic perception.
Behind the uniqueness of the model lies the cutting-edge technology and creativity of Bridgestone's designers. Features of this innovative product include:
- optimum water drainage and best wet performance, thanks to the new rubber compound;
- increased local tread stiffness thanks to double slanted 3d sipes, which reduces the risk of slipping;
- grooves to reduce aquaplaning, extending into the shoulder area;
- a reduction in weight and aerodynamic drag, affects the car's fuel requirements compared to the previous model.
Bridgestone Tire Co. has been offering products that meet the highest quality standards for more than 90 years. The pursuit of excellence has enabled the Japanese company to take its place among the world's leading tyre suppliers.
