Bridgestone Turanza T001 is the optimum choice for drivers who want to enjoy full performance and safety on the road, taking care of the environment at the same time. This summer tyre manufactured by Bridgestone is a product with unique properties that ensure its perfect operation in all weather conditions and this may come as a surprise to some drivers. NanoPro-Tech technology significantly reduces rolling resistance (up 19%). The flat profile used in the tyre increases its contact with the ground, which results in better grip and improved manoeuvrability.

Specially designed asymmetric tread pattern with unique groove reduces noise emission, ensuring greater driving comfort. Large lateral tread blocks ensure adequate stiffness and the immediate response of the tyre. The structure of the tread also improves resistance to mechanical damage. One major advantage of the model is facilitated by the wide grooves that efficiently evacuate water and minimise the risk of aquaplaning. The high-tech rubber compound used for manufacturing Bridgestone Turanza T001 extends the operational life of the tyre. In addition, the tyre wears evenly across its tread surface, guaranteeing its safety and full performance throughout its life.

Bridgestone is the largest manufacturer of tyres in the world and has been in operation since 1931. Apart from tyres, this Japanese company also manufactures products for various industries including sports accessories, rubber products, chemicals and auto parts. Currently, the company operates 59 factories around the world. In addition to its own brand, Bridgestone manages many others, including Seiberling, Road King, Gillette, Peerless, Firestone, FireStop and Dayton. The name "Bridgestone" is the literal English translation of Japanese name of the company's founder -Shōjirō Ishibashi.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I’m familiar with this particular brand. I had the Bridgestone Turanza ER300 before. I think I have done 50,000 miles on the previous model. That is why I bought them again. For me the rubber compound is a little lit to hard, despite that great tyre. Good grip and traction. I am happy with the labels, especially with fuel efficiency. My fitter recommended Bridgestone Turanza T001 to me. Now I know that this model is better than any other budget class tyres. This Bridgestone Turanza T001 has a high durability. Noise level is ok, sometimes I can hear a little noise however, it’s not very annoying. For me safe tyre, looks good an my car. Price is ok, I think I’ll but them again. Read more Collapse

I have been reading a lot about Bridgestone Turanza T001 tyres . I wanted to know how good the tyres are. I wasn’t been disappointed. Premium brand tyres got a good grip in a dry weather conditions, for me these tyres are not very quiet however, it enough and it’s not really a minus. I don’t mind it. These tyres are excellent for driving on the UK roads. The biggest advantage was the price. I’ve bought them in online shop and I received them within 48 hours. Good delivery and service. I am very impressed with a quality of these tyres and when the time comes, I will certainly replace them with either the same ones or the newest available model. Read more Collapse

Hi, I’ve bought Bridgestone Turanza T001 tyres in the size 205/55R16. I got BMW and I needed to replace my tyres. Before I went for Continental, however they are more expensive and there is no need to more money to have good quality. Tyres performed well, I have done more than 40,00 miles on my previous tyers and I hope I will do the same on those brand and model. I would like to share my opinion and first of all tyres are quiet. I can believe how quiet they are. I have a small children I have to say that right now I really like driving. Maybe Some people may say that these tyres do not look good on wheels but I don’t agree. Great tyres, I put them on straight after buying them as soon as the weather conditions allowed and was blissful when I got out on the tarmac. Complete silence. After a few thousand miles I can of course hear a humming noise, but not a noise or, for that matter, a rattling noise. I have recommended the tyres to friends and customers, and I make no secret of the fact that I recommend this brand to everyone. The braking on various surfaces is a five, driving in the wet a five, but this is also due to the good braking system. I would definitely recommend it. Read more Collapse

I had different Bridgestone model fitted on my car previously. I decided to replace them after almost ten years, there was still 4 millimeters of tread though. Difference with new set is significant. They are much more quiet, aquaplaning resistance is much higher. This tyre model works on dry and wet asphalt just phenomenally. Only the way how the tyre looks like could be a little bit better. They just looks completely normal, I personally like when tread pattern is kind of aggressive but it does not affect the quality at all. Definitely worth the money. Read more Collapse

Tyre more for calm than sport and fast driving. Noise level decreased in comparison to the previous model. Low rolling resistance and fuel consumption. The most important thing - safety - is fantastic. Dry and wet grip are more than enough. This model allows the user to drive confidently. It is easy to handle any unexpected things on the road. The only thing which could be improved is the fact that it is very soft tyre. Personally I like tyres which are a little bit more hard but it is just my preference. Great for city traffic. Recommended. Read more Collapse

Previously I had the Uniroyal tyres mounted on my car and I was satisfied with their quality. Despite that I bought Bridgestone. I decided to spend more money. Definitely Bridgestone Turanza T001 are better. The old Uniroyal’s had some problems with a wet grip. I think it was connected with their poor design. In Bridgestone tyres there no problem with the grip. Tyres look good, perform well and I cannot say anything bad about this tyres. In additional, Tyres are quite in comparison to Uniroyal and I this that is the best tyre I had ever. Read more Collapse

I bought the tyres in the spring, I have already done about 9,000 km on them and I can say that they work well on dry pavement, it is hard to move with a squeal because the tyres pull the car forward beautifully, grip in corners is also great, on wet pavement they hold very well, I had no problems with them, the tyres also have a brother-in-law and he also praises them, to sum up, if I had to buy summer tyres again I would not hesitate, it is better to spend 40-60 PLN more on a tyre and have a safe and well-handling tyre Read more Collapse

I have this tyre model fitted from two months now. I decided to buy and test them because of the users opinions and Bridgestone reputation. I was really surprised how quiet they are. Durability seems to be fine but it is to short time to judge still. Speed driving is not a problem, hard to lose the control of the vehicle. In my opinion it is very safe tyre. I am driving with my whole family very often so it is important factor for me and probably for many other drivers as well. So far so good, recommended. Read more Collapse

The biggest Bridgestone advantage is durability. It is almost guaranteed that they will last for more than two, three seasons. This model is little bit more quiet than my previous Bridgestone which I had fitted on my vehicle. In my size there is no rim protector so it does not look pretty but it is not the most important factor, safety is the one. Having this model mounted you can drive with no problems and with great comfort. Grip is more than alright even during speed driving. Recommended for everyone! Read more Collapse

A totally different tyre to the Turanza ER300 I rode for over 6 years. ER300 was very precise, directional, stiff, not very comfortable. On ruts, it took the steering wheel out of my hands. The T001 is like a winter tyre - no directionality, soft on ruts, quiet on bumps but not precise enough in bends. In sharp bends, you feel the deflection (you have to turn the steering wheel harder than with the ER300). It does not suit me very well, I would prefer something between the T001 and the ER300. The overall assessment of Bridgestone Turanza T001 tyres is very positive. The tyres belong to the touring class and they are used as such, if you are looking for such tyres, I can highly recommend them. I have driven about 8000 km with them so far and I have no major comments. The high profile gives comfort, but of course there is something for something. It should be remembered that this is not a sports tyre, so at higher speeds you can hear it a little, but for motorway speeds it is ok. Read more Collapse

Hello, I travel a lot for business and privately with my family. We always take a lot of stuff with us, 2 bikes plus a box on the roof. The car has always been tuned up. The noise level varies depending on the road surface. Generally quite quiet in my opinion. Very good grip on dry pavement, seems to be even better on wet pavement. I would recommend it to anyone. I cannot say how long the tyres last as I have only had them for 3 months and have driven around 5,000 km. Read more Collapse

We drove 100,000 kilometres on the previous set without any problems. We decided to buy the same ones because of our own good experience and, I must admit, they were not spared. We drive a lot in and out of town, on asphalt, stones and sometimes grass. There has never been a problem with the pressure holding or anything that would call into question the quality of these tyres. And if I were to recommend the tyres to anyone, it would only be for this manufacturer. Read more Collapse

I drive around Warsaw every day. The tyres have so far performed very well - even in the wet. The tyres work very well so far - even on wet pavement, they keep their grip when braking harder in the wet and are stable in bends at higher speeds. I am glad I decided to buy the more expensive Continental tyres, because I have no reservations about them. I don't know about the durability, because I don't have the scale, but they look good after more than 10 thousand. Read more Collapse

If you are looking for good tyres in competitive price go for Bridgestone Turanza T001. That’s the first time I went for this brand. I have this model for a second season in the row now. They are really quiet and durable in my opinion. Driving comfort is still on decent level even after quite a big mileage. On dry asphalt grip is ok, provides good control of the vehicle. Wet grip could be a little bit better but it is not a disadvantage really, it is still ok. Braking distance is not too bad. I am satisfied though. Quality is ok for this kind of money. Recommended. Read more Collapse

I decided to buy the tyres after having spoken to an oponeo consultant. Strengths: quiet, very good absorption, good braking grip. Disadvantages: they are very soft and lose grip when moving off quickly. Big minus: grip in bends is a tragedy, I feel like I am falling out of a bend, tyres have very soft sidewalls, even at high pressure the tyre looks like it has no air. The price in this class is really attractive and does not affect the quality. I had the opportunity to drive at high speed through a flowing stream on the asphalt after a storm and and.... nothing. Driving into a rut full of water at 80-90km/h, there is no loss of grip either. I had the opportunity to drive a smaller car on lower class tyres and it was not so colourful. I recommend Bridgestones with a clear conscience as safe tyres. Read more Collapse

These tyres are characterised by low tyre wear compared to other tyre models from top manufacturers (I am not comparing them to Chinese tyres, which are not worth buying). At the same time, they grip perfectly well on the road, not only when new and with 100% tread (e.g. this is the case with tyres from many manufacturers with the eco label). This is one of the three models in the summer category that I prefer to choose. Read more Collapse

Very good handling characteristics come to the fore - short braking distances and safe grip on both dry and wet roads. It is difficult for me to make a reliable assessment of durability after a few months, but after the first several thousand kilometres or so the signs of wear are minimal. The only thing I could complain about is the noise level, which could be a little lower for the price. Read more Collapse

The previous owner of my car also bought Bridgestone Turanza. I decided to make the purchase. Old tyres went on the back, new ones on the front. The old ones were still in great condition - the previous owner drove really smoothly. I like to drive fast and furious, with a little bit of craziness - they work perfectly. I think I can recommend them to anyone with a clear conscience. Read more Collapse

A lot of driving on the tyres (between 40 and 350km a day). They are fun to drive on and on dry pavement they are a real pleasure. Personally, I'm a bit wary of them in the rain as they can be a bit slippery (I've had better rain tyres). Generally bought at a very good price and that is why I give them an A plus, at a normal and not promotional price it would be 4 or maybe 4+ Read more Collapse

Bridgestone Turanza tyres are extremely comfortable, safe and reliable tyres. They are quiet, which is very much appreciated. On wet asphalt, they give confident handling, even in corners. On dry asphalt, you can feel how firmly they grip the asphalt, while having no negative effect on fuel consumption or rolling resistance. I would definitely recommend this tyre. Read more Collapse

Decent tyres. Trouble-free handling in dry and wet conditions. Tread pattern very attractive in my opinion. After more than 15,000 km, there is hardly any visible wear. The tyre feels solid and refined, despite potholes and high urban kerbs there is still no damage. The minus side is the noise level, which could be lower, but overall a very positive impression. I put the tyres on in the spring of this year. I have used them for about 6000 km. I previously had Goodyear Excellence tyres, which I was not entirely satisfied with. The T001 are definitely softer, quieter and grip the road better. Admittedly, this is at the price of more abrasion. In the wet, definitely better grip and quieter. ABS rarely engages.. The tyres are quiet (I compare them to the Uniroyal MS PLUS 66 winter tyres, which are unfortunately quite noisy), grip, ride comfort is very good, steering precision is also very good. When purchasing these tyres, I also considered the Pirelli P1 and Michelin Energy Saver, but in the end I opted for Bridgestone and I do not regret it, money well spent. Read more Collapse

Very high quality construction material, quite hard but not too noisy, great grip in dry and wet, very low rolling resistance and abrasion. After 5000 km the tyre looks like new. The weak point is the rather "ordinary" appearance for a premium tyre. According to the ADAC 2012, one of the best tyres in this segment, best in the dry. Read more Collapse
