I don't know if I should praise them. Continental ContiSportContact 2 are pre-installed in many cars. First I threw winter tyres away, because it turned out they practically can't be used on snow. Now after 12000 miles some lumps formed on one of the tyres. Someone will say that it's because I hit a hole or a curb. And yes, I did that, but it happened a few days earlier and I did that with a different wheel. So how did it happen? I had Nokian tyres on my Accord, the wheel could get shattered into pieces and the tyres were still intact. Continental ContiSportContact 2 is a very good choice, great tyre, you can clearly see that it's a premium class product. I can't imagine fitting any other summer tyres to my car. Some people complain about the noise level of these tyres, I didn't notice such phenomenon - unless the asphalt is rough, and you drive at high speed, but then the noise is muffled by the wind. Continental ContiSportContact 2 are praised by everyone, however I'm not satisfied with it. My car has about 340 HP. It is not possible for the car to start faster on these tyres, especially when it's wet. I had the opportunity to compare them to other tyres and there are much better tyres, such as Bridgestone Potenza S001, Pirelli PZero Rosso, Bridgestone Potenza RE050. Continental ContiSport Contact 2 are tyres with proper behaviour, with moderate driving in town and on the road they can last 3 seasons. and they are rather expensive. I've been using them in my car as summer tyres for almost 4 years now. I could confirm the opinions that ContiSportContact 2 are noisy but they aren't really bad when it comes to noise level. I bought ContiSportContact 2 tyres last year and I'd like to share my opinion now. I can recommend them to anyone who appreciates driving comfort and safety. They wear off a bit fast if you like to drive aggressively, that's why I prefer calm driving style. I have used Continental ContiSportContact 2 for 5 years, did 45000 miles on them, and I'll buy them again because of a relatively low price and low fuel consumption. Continental ContiSportContact 2 behave very well at 120 MPH, although on tarry pavement (such one that overheats and dissolves - old type) they can squeal up to 3rd gear, but it's because of the surface, good vehicle control in the slide, braking distance got shortened by 2 m, wears off completely in 40000 miles. The tyres are very easy to balance - great driving comfort and grip on both wet and dry. The only drawback so far- they are loud - from 40 MPH strange hum can be heard, at higher speeds the noise gets muffled by the sound of air. I bought Continental ContiSportContact 2 because it had a high speed index. I sometimes like to drive more aggressively, and at high speeds other tyres caused the steering wheel to vibrate, and on these ones nothing happens. I'll write a bit about the tire and the car: E46 320i; 170hp, rear drive, of course. Tire size 225/45 / R17 / 245/40 / R17 (front / rear). Tires drove over 10k km. Hassle-free. All parameters at a high level. Super grip at high speeds there is no effect swim and drift off course. Probably also some merit in size. The only caveat is the noise. In my opinion, 72dB is insulting. If you ride a lot more than 120kmh I advise to think about (here probably also have an impact on tire width). But noticeably above 120-130 tires begin to hum louder than the wind. I would recommend a moderate drivers. When it rains, despite the size of seamlessly'm breaking traction. I have not tried on a dry because the damage differential ... :) During braking, nothing pulls palpable border adhesion and excellent grip in the corners. Sooner fall out of the chair than a car with the track :) I drove earlier on Dunlopach SportMAXX (215/55 / ​​R16) and to be honest that I will return to them. I highly recommend this tire, at this price is hard to find something better and as well checking out at a fairly aggressive driving. Tires are rigid and do not bend too much at sharp curves, I changed directly from the Michelin Energy Saver and the difference is noticeable right away, additionally also driven for a moment on Michelin Primacy HP but Conti with my driving works best. They were fitted as standard on my car, I walked 52.000Km then I had to throw them away. Good in the dry, but in turn it must be correct because often inaccurate. Wet suits only at very low speeds in the city or on the straight although they have a slight tendency to aquaplaning; in Urva on roundabouts and at normal speed I risked several times to go right, and at every opportunity I had promised myself to NOT take longer - in fact replaced this year with other brand. I changed the old Pirelli P6000 (were spent) and I am very positively surprised. The tire should be quite loud (mark on the label) but in reality they are much more quiet than P6000. At the same time, these tires choose more inequality, more gently to beat them (I have a feeling in the cabin, of course, we are not talking about holes etc but some cracks in the asphalt, etc). I use these tires since 2011. Overall I'm pleased with them but ... after driving 40000 km suited to the exchange and is too little. I would add that I am not a "racer" I go normally, without squeaks, smoking rubber and other games on the way :). I replaced the two front tires only on the Continental model. The weak feature of the tires is a significant increase in fuel burned. There are also the quiet.
