Opinion from outside the UK
Due to the purchase of a new car, I decided to make sure I get the right tyres that can effectively transfer power to the road and ensure maximum safety. After a long search and after studying numerous reviews, I decided on the Continental SportContact 7. I must admit that the difference compared to previous tyres is downright enormous. The Continental SportContact 7 is a tyre that exceeds all expectations. From the very first kilometers, you can feel how well they perform in all conditions, and their performance in the wet is downright impressive. Not once did I experience the phenomenon of aquaplaning, which gives me a great feeling of safety when driving in the rain. The tyre is designed in such a way that it provides excellent grip even on the most slippery pavement. When it comes to dynamic driving, the Continental SportContact 7 is a champion in its class. Turns are taken with remarkable confidence, allowing for more aggressive driving without fear of losing control. Traction on dry surfaces is also top-notch, making acceleration and braking extremely precise. All in all, I can in good conscience recommend the Continental SportContact 7 to anyone looking for tyres that not only provide excellent grip and stability, but also confident handling in all conditions. These tyres are a true 110% of quality that will satisfy even the most demanding drivers. Read more Collapse

I was looking for a tyre that is stable, that allows faster driving during turning manouevres, that holds the road well. The fitter already during fitting said that it is stiff, because you have to use a lot of force to put it on the rim. I own several sets of wheels: 17 and 18 inch wheels. I previously drove on premium contact 6 (I used 3 sets, 6 lasts for about 40 thousand km) then on contact 7 (too soft for me). The sport contact 7 tyre meets my expectations. It is reinforced, the car doesn't pitch when entering a corner quickly, for comparison I always test on the same corner, which throws you off at about 60km/h. The tyres met my expectations, they held me as if I were on a string. The tread contains a chili compound, which makes the tyre warm up faster. The construction of the tread is original you can see that this is a sports tyre. The only downside is the tread height, it could be a little higher. Read more Collapse

The rear tyre put on the BMW M3 Competition. The tyres are definitely better than the ones on which the car left the dealership. It's rear drive and when starting there is a huge difference in favor of the Continental. You don't need to warm up these tyres, practically from the very beginning you can drive dynamically. The rubber is a bit softer and therefore stickier, which will probably affect the mileage negatively, but that's not the most important part, but rather the grip and fun of driving. At first I had my doubts about choosing tyres from another brand, but this one has performed very positively in many tests, and it is a relatively new tyre on the market. So far, it has not failed me on dry and wet pavement. Read more Collapse

I purchased the tyres for an Infiniti g37 with RWD. In the previous tyres I had a big problem with grip when starting. The car is equipped with a limited-slip differential with 400 nm total torque transfer to the rear and on the Continental sport contact 7 it does not break grip at all. Unfortunately, I won't comment on the behavior in the rain, as I only drive the car seasonally in nice weather. The tyres really do the job, especially since they are not too expensive. I was considering Michelin Sport 4S and decided, however.on Continental. I was not disappointed, they stick to the road like glue. I recommend! Read more Collapse

For years I've been driving mostly on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, which are hard to beat when it comes to sporty summer tyres. This year, after seeing and reading some reviews, I chose the new Conti. The reason? They perform almost identically to the PS4S in the dry, but beat them in the wet. Driving an AWD car that has 470 horsepower, regardless of the weather, I feel like I'm glued to the road at any speed, whether on the straight or in a turn. If one is looking for summer tyres for more powerful cars, the SportContact 7 performs much better than the current king, the Michelin PS4S. Read more Collapse

In my opinion, the tyre is much stiffer than the Pirelli P0. In addition, it has much stronger sides, which means that there are no “blisters” when the tyre is pressed against the rim on a curb or pothole. It is certainly noisier, and significantly so, especially on concrete roads ( but this is noticeable only at speeds of 150-170 km/h). As for grip it behaves similarly, I did not notice a significant difference. For that, by its rigidity, it gives the feeling of better handling and better control of the vehicle. Read more Collapse

It is something amazing that they are better than Pilot Sports 4S from every angle. And in the dry and in the wet they stick much, much better. You don't need to warm them up too much, although the 4s didn't need to be warmed up either. Sometimes I had trouble breaking traction, even when I wanted to do so. They wear noticeably faster than the 4s, but I still definitely recommend trying them out, especially since you probably change them every season anyway. Read more Collapse

Great tyres, after warming up they hold the road very well. I was surprised by their behavior on wet pavement, it is known that the rear of a RWD car will run away gently with more aggressive driving, but only with sharper behavior, otherwise they hold the road very well. Unfortunately, I have no point of refefence to compare them with other tyre brands. Read more Collapse

Best tyres I used till now in all weather conditions ,once fitted on wheels your car will be different . But....the driving range of this tyres is quite low, I done till now around 8000 miles and I have left 7mm. So is look like maximum 15000 miles. That is driving range of low cost tyres. Any way this tyres are very satisfying and safety. Read more Collapse

I am pleasantly surprised how the Continental SportContact 7 tyres perform on my car, despite the fact that it is rear-wheel drive, it grips the road very well. The tyres so far have worked great and whether in the wet or in the dry I still can't get over how much they have contributed to the handling of the crazy mustang :). Highly recommended!!! On dry asphalt, as expected, the tyres behave great. I was most surprised by the reserves and performance on wet asphalt - tyres exceeded my expectations, enough to write that I plan to switch other cars to these Conti 7. PS. the mileage I gave is for this particular car using these tyres. Read more Collapse

It's really quite amazing that they're better than the Pilot Sport 4s in everyway - both in the dry and on the water they stick perfectly, even to the point where it annoyed me sometimes if I needed to break traction. They wear noticeably faster than the 4s, but definitely worth a try. Read more Collapse

The tyres hold the road very well, even when starting with the gas pedal pressed to the floor, the car immediately accelerates without unnecessary slippage, and I have more than 450 horsepower in the car so I know what I'm saying. Previous tyres caused the rear to “float away” for me. Read more Collapse

Boosted Audi Avant to 380 hp and 820 Nm. Lots of routes and good speeds on the highways of Germany. High speeds? No problems in the dry, nor any in the wet. Winding mountain roads? No issues... However, I recommend caution and knowledge of your car. No one can cheat physics. Read more Collapse

Great tyre, with so much power there are no miracles, but the car sticks well. The tyre is not as hard as I expected (which is a plus). Noisy it may be, but grip is far more important and I wouldn't consider it a disadvantage in a tyre with this type of performance. Read more Collapse

Tyres are sensational. They stick very well, it's hard to break traction even with almost 400 horsepower under the hood (4x4). You can feel the confidence in vehicle's handling. In addition, the tyres look great on the rim. At the moment, only pluses. Read more Collapse
