Dunlop Sport Maxx RT 2

I bought these tyres with a little fear, after many hours spent on various portals and forums. I did not drive a lot, because the distance was about 1200 miles, but I wanted to share some insights. I compare tyres to Goodyear Excellence. Dunlop wins all the way! 1. The tyre is almost inaudible (they are new) which is a very big surprise for me. Looking at 67dB (Dunlop) vs. 72 dB (Goodyear) I thought it was a small difference. However, it is very noticeable. 2. The tyre sticks very firmly in the corners. 3. On the route I came across two decent storms and I was able to drive without slowing down. 4. What surprised me the most was the suppression of inequalities. In comparison to Goodyear it is heaven and the earth! My driving style is moderately aggressive, although I did not go crazy on the route because I had passengers. So far, only 250 miles have been driven on these tyres, but the first observations are already there. The tyres are very quiet. They hold great in fast corners, especially when they get warm. On a dry surface stick amazing. On wet a little bit worse, but no disturbing slips. The tyres do not have an easy life with me because I often try to use these 300 hp under the hood and they are doing great so far. Read more Collapse

Great on wet, great on corners. It does not hold up a bit as it is not hot enough. My car is big and heavy for this type of tyre, and despite the fact that I drive on many holes don't know what else on the road the tyres can withstand all this without any problems. The treadmill in my opinion wears quickly, but even now when it is almost finished it holds on wet. The next set will also be Dunlop. Read more Collapse

Tyres that cost me around about £260 cost me a further £120 as cowboy tyre fitter recommend by yourself cut my senor values and 1 had to have them replace at my own cost!!! And openeo told me to send invoice and they would help with cost to then be told not there problem . As the tyres they supply were fine but they all gave a recommendation on there website . The tyre lasted barely one summer season. Previous Michelin Primacy 3 tyres lasted two, with the same mileage. The tyre is silent and keeps very well on the dry and wet road. Maybe the highway does not serve those tyres and the weight of the car too. Comparing with previous tyres, these were much worse. Read more Collapse

Great brand. Sticks to wet and dry asphalt. Generally quiet. On some asphalt there is a little bit of noise. Tightly steer. Sporty driving possible. I would buy them again. Read more Collapse
