Opinion from outside the UK
There have been a lot of new products on the market recently from well-known tyre manufacturers. For my size, the choice was the latest tyres from Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6th generation. Let me say at the outset that I will compare these tyres to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4, on which I ride and will continue to ride in the future. The latest Goodyear tyre is certainly a good product. It has new design features, colored stripes to show tyre wear, or a sidewall placed at a slight angle to improve streamlining. The aforementioned bits of trivia are all to the good. Despite these advantages, unfortunately, on dry pavement our tyre slipped too often. Ideal sunny weather conditions, a good asphalt surface and reheating the rubber did not improve this situation - the systems in the car triggered quite often. On the PS4, such behavior was much less frequent. In rainy conditions, on the other hand, very similar grip. Practically as good. Finally, I will also complain about the appearance, it could have been a little better for a premium tyre. Especially since it looked kind of nicer on the promotional graphics. In conclusion - the latest tyres are very good, for those looking for something new they could be an interesting option, and at the time of purchase they had a pretty reasonable price. I will write like this: This tyre is a piece of solid rubber. On dry pavement, the tyres stick as if glued to the asphalt. On a wet roadway it is not worse at all. They are currently put an Audi A3 with about 200 horsepower and it's hard to break traction. This is my third set of tyres from this brand. One set fitted in an Alfa Romeo, the other in a BMW seri5 ( asymetric 5) with 300 hp. The price to quality is sensational - the fact may not be the cheapest, but remember that the tyre on the car is the only place where the vehicle is in contact with the road. In my opinion, one should not save on tyres. If someone wants to have peace of mind, these tyres for dynamic driving are highly recommended! Read more Collapse

I can 100% recommend the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6. Compared to the Bridgestone Potenza S001, which were in the Leon from new, they are much quieter. Reliable handling in the dry and wet. They transfer power and torque nicely. Also, if someone is bothered by tyre noise, I recommend Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6. Before buying, it is worth taking a peek at English-language online forums. Not always a quieter tyre on the label is quieter, for example, at highway speeds. Bridgestones were very noisy, and now longer routes whether on asphalt or concrete highways is a huge difference in comfort :) Read more Collapse

I returned to the tyres of this brand after a long break. For a long time, I had been choosing among the offerings of Pirelli, Dunlop or Michelin, among others. I decided to put my trust in Goodyear. The advantage of the tyres is certainly the excellent dry grip, especially when cornering and curving at higher speeds. Wet grip is not something I can reliably assess - I've rarely driven in wet conditions. After one season I have not noticed excessive wear. The tyres seem to be resistant to damage - scuffs etc. Read more Collapse
