    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought a set of tires about 2 months ago. The price was higher than now, but I don't regret spending more on these tires. They were recommended to me by an unfamiliar worker of a certain vulcanization in the Tri-City ... And it started like this ... I bought a car in October, to which the owner did not add winter tires (because they were not "worthy" of this car :)), a few days Later, after browsing probably "the whole internet", I went to a certain vulcanization, because I wanted to know a bit about the tires I found, and they were a certain Nokia WR something out there and it was amazing in the ADAC Continental Conti Winter Contact tests or something like that. I entered the plant, unaware of anything, and asked about the aforementioned tire models, for which the employee of this vulcanization simply laughed at me, asking if these were to be tires for me or for my mother-in-law? Initially, I did not understand the laughter of that employee, because how is it that Continental and Nokian are laughed at? After a laugh, the employee recommended the Goodyear tires in question to me, but the price in their plant was overwhelming, but what do we have internet and Oponeo for? The price of tires on the plant's website was already lower than I would physically order from an employee. However, I decided to buy at oponeo - it was not the first purchase on this site ... The car can handle these tires in virtually any terrain, I live outside the city (mud, snow - I drive without any problems), in the city I commute to work - also without any problems. I consider the purchase to be right on target, as was the choice of my wife;). I recommend 100% to the undecided. As I wrote above: I do not regret any money spent on these tires. best regards Read more Collapse

At the beginning I will say that the scale of the driving style to choose from is not ok. I drive fast but not aggressive. And there is no such choice. I CONSIDER THAT A TIRE WITH INDEX XL SHOULD BE STIFF. The vulcanizer who sold these tires assured me that it was a tire with the parameters of a reinforced XL tire. Unfortunately, the tire is soft and the effect of this was that after catching the "slipper", despite the fact that I immediately felt it and stopped, it turned out that the tire from the inside was damaged by the rim edge (no damage was visible from the outside. FINAL EFFECT- Another PLN 630 down the drain I believe that Premium tires are too expensive and do not have a good quality-price ratio. After the winter, I bought summer tires, the so-called "Other brands" and I will say briefly ... I am positively shocked by the quality for the price. I have already traveled 9 thousand kilometers and the tire has no signs of wear and for a set in size 215/55/17 I paid as much as for the previous one and a half tire. dry after heavy rain and after bends. The tires behave great, look great and hold well. And their name is OVATION. And I know, I know ...... it's a Chinese tire, but I assure you that until I bought these tires I always used tires in the so-called Premium class, paying for a set between PLN 2500 - 3000. And here a set for PLN 940 .... divine. I definitely recommend it. Read more Collapse

Bought for a company car. Generally 90% of my trips are routes. First of all, the tires improved the driving comfort (quite soft, nice balloon on the sides, protecting the rim). Secondly, my fuel consumption dropped by about 0.7 l / 100 km with the same driving style. Overall a very successful purchase. I did about 20,000 in winter. km so I can recommend :). Tire wear is practically invisible but I have not measured it. The noise level is a big plus - there is really nothing to complain about. They were also tested in Špindlerův Mlýn in the middle of winter. Without chains and without any problems (drive only to the front), I was climbing steep hills (packed snow on the street). With a clear conscience, I can recommend it to people who hesitate. You will not be disappointed. Read more Collapse

I rate these tires very positively because they gave me absolutely no problems during the winter. Objectively, last winter was not too demanding for the car, so I was not able to check the tires in really difficult situations. I did only two longer routes (several hundred kilometers), but in snow-free conditions. In such weather, other low-end tires would also cope well, but I drive with my family and the highest quality parameters count for me. I am one of those who prefer to overpay, but have peace of mind that they did everything they could not to tempt fate. I only remember a few days this winter with very bad road conditions and if the tires worked as expected and saved me from a possible traffic accident, it was worth it! Read more Collapse

I bought these tires this year and there was almost no winter, but those few days of snow in the city showed that it was a good choice. Traction control never needed to activate, the tires are very quiet, quieter than the summer Michelin which I drive now. Very nice looking for my eyes. The price is considerable, but it is a reasonable compromise. I use it too short to be able to say something about failure or abrasion. If Oponeo offers an attractive price, I will buy the same tires for the second car before the winter. Read more Collapse
