Imperial Snowdragon 3 are tyres designed especially for medium and higher class passenger cars. This model is a perfect connection of good performances and reasonable price. Rubber mixture used for manufacturing facilitates driving in winter conditions.

Grooves of asymmetrical thread are intended to drain water, snow, and after snow mud Thanks to Imperial Snowdragon 3 all manoeuvres and driving are safer. Reinforced structure of tyre is additional protection against abrasions, thanks to which you may enjoy its parameters for its whole lifespan.

This model is manufactured of flexible rubber mixture, compliant with strict European standards. Material is friendly to the environment and ensures that the tyre meets all parameters characteristic to this tyre for the whole lifespan. Opinion from outside the UK

There are many positive opinions about this tire in the internet. I suspect that the authors may be people who did not use much more expensive, top models (the top model is not necessarily the top brand, though usually). Well, after converting summer tires (Dunlop Sport Maxx RT 245/40/18 - supposedly one of the quietest) for winter one, you could notice two meaningful changes: very quiet performance and quite dangerous behavior of the car in the usual, but dynamic driving. The sport suspension does not hide tire defects so the differences were immediately noticeable for me without any extreme testing. Immediately after shifting the wheels, so in identical conditions (dry surface, about 10 degrees) the braking distance increased by 50%. With decisive, but not cracking curves, the car buckled like damaged sleeves and was carried outside. On a wet surface, the braking distance is also longer than on summer tires, although not so drastically. However, there is a low aquaplaning tendency. I had no experience with snow - this year it will not be much better. The tyre could not be perfectly balanced even after 3 balancing. At frequent speed of 50-60 mph, rumbling is heard. Opinion from outside the UK

Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

A year earlier I had a 4 year old winter tyre Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D and there was a tread wear rated of about 40%. This year I bought the Imperial Snowdragon 3 tyres, but new. Sensation is completely different. These do not make any noise, these're soft, car drives through deep snow perfectly. The only drawback may be the wet pavement after a rain is you drive with a stronger, more aggressive style. A quiet trip is approx. I think it is not worth an explicit x3 or x4 for the price, in order to have a string of Dunlop or Michelin. Winter tyres certainly should be changed approximately every four years because the rubber hardens. In my opinion it's better to buy new cheaper tyres than used high-performance tyres. And you have to know that this is not some kind of no name Chinese tyre. Imperials are products of Deldo, only Belgian manufacturer. Read more Collapse

I enjoy quite aggressive driving style, but also comfort. I do not have a sports jam or conducting scientific research on the tyres. I rate the tyre as a user relative to my experiences with others, competitive. Well, I think that to have just a little better driving experience you must spend a lot of money on the tyres. Tyres well grip to wet surfaces. 2x more expensive Dunlop which I used until recently (245/40/18) weren't much better. Both were good wile cornering on wet roads and are noticeably quiet. Durability is difficult to assess - I had too little time to do so. Just on these tyres be careful with the gas in the wet corners. Even with a 4-wheel drive I can reach the bend the way much more expensive tyres do. I was able to easily overcome the ned for expensive tyres. I'm happy with these. Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres to test them. In the winter season I passed about 4 thousand miles on them. I have rather dynamic driving style. Their behave on snow is fine about what I have no objections. On dry roads i also couldn't see anything that would be an issue. On a wet surface that wasn't so good. I know that winter tyres does not like water, but the tyre on a wet jet fatal. Continuous slippage, losing traction with the addition of gas, it was a defeat. As I wrote before I made about 4 thousand miles and on each tyre there was a 4 mm tread left. This is a bad result. I don't think the fault was of the car because on the previous Dayton DW510 I made about 40 thousand km and were not as badly worn like these. That may be due to the softer rubber compound. Tyre excess of some of the so-called top shelf tyres. It's quiet, has good wet grip and the traction in fine and in wen in dry weather. Well done in the snow as well as on the glacial surface of the road. I use rather dynamic driving techniques and these tires have not failed me. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have good equipment to drive but for a little money! I met laughter out of pity from some people that the car is such class and the tyres are some kind of worse production, but they have to be confronted, because such talk is testifying to their ignorance of the subject, and even jealousy that you can buy something good for a good price. I can only recommend these tyres. . Nothing will convince snobs! Read more Collapse

I drove whole winter with these tyres, actually this winter was gentle, and there were only few snowy days, but the tyres were doing well. I was surprised by the performance of the tyres on dry road, where it was possible to drove without any fear of losing control. On wet surface - so, so, but with a normal style of driving it is enough.I don’t know how much tyre tread was, when the tyres were new, nevertheless I measured it before changing to summer ones and it has been around 6.7mm after driving 5 000 miles, so treaces of wear can be visible. I would recommend for people with low budget, who wants to buy a new tyres like me, hehe: D It is not worth to overpay !!!! Read more Collapse

I highly recommend - mainly through the price / quality ratio, which I assess on high level. I evaluated the failure really well - it should be mentioned here that the only one failure occured so far in my case, after hitting a screwdriver that drove me into the tread – tire has been patched and goes on. From the 2nd perspective - the failure did not result from the tire itself, but from a random accident ... but still it occurred. To sum up - maybe the tyre doesn’t look really incredible, but they are at least 3 times cheaper than the ones, which look amazing. The parameters according to my opinion are good – the tyres will be with me at least 2 seasons:-). Read more Collapse

Tires meet the basic assumptions for winter tires, they hold well on the curves, both on wet and dry surfaces, there are no situations in which the car would slip at low speeds on difficult surfaces. You can be a bit dissatisfied with the noise result (over 75 mph are quite loud) and T rolling resistance, which affects combustion. In summary, for such money (less than 75 GBP for a set of tires), these are very good tyres that work in winter conditions, I would recommend them to people who travel a lot with highways, and roads with a limit of 50 mph as well as people who do not do more than 1500 miles in the winter season due to increased combustion. I was afraid of buying „Dragon” but after getting acquainted with the opinions of users I took a risk. I thought the Imperial tyres should be still better than used high performance ones". After 5-month period of use, I think it was a great purchase. They also worked perfectly in deep snow in the mountains - the car pulled up a steep uphill. I would add that I was very afraid of the test in the mountains because the car has automatic transmission - but the car was driving like a tank in the snow. I am not an amateur, I drive a car since 1991 , passing an averagly of 800-1200 miles per month (a dozen sets of tires have already been used by me). Read more Collapse

These are my first Imperial (economy class) tyres, but I am very positively surprised by their good properties. I use them mainly in the city - especially in winter, but here also there are situations on the edge, which allows you to form your opinion about the tyres. I braked sharply in the city many times this season and the ABS system didn’t turn on even once, which could indicate that there is no grip on the winter road. But also when entering into sharp curves, the car has constant contact with the surface. To sum up: the price / quality ratio is very good in this case. Read more Collapse

I have drove with these tyres about 17 000 miles and there is a slight trace of tread wear on the front axle (visible about 1.0mm). The tiyes perform well on both dry and wet surfaces. They behave worse on slush but the ride on snowy roads gives both comfort and good grip. They are quiet even driving fast. The most important thing for me - economics is great. Fuel consumption practically did not increase. As for me, a revelation. I made the purchase decision, among others, after the opinions of customers from OPONEO - Fast and efficient delivery. I was afraid of buying a tyre, which brand name did not tell me anything. (bought in the middle of the winter season), but the car on these tyres is great on the road, both dry and snowy. I passed with them on a trip to the mountains, and I found myself in heavy snowstorms and I cannot find any complaints about the possibility of going under a big drop on the snow. I do not associate the experience with ice or simply did not notice it because the car was fully controllable. I definitely recommend it after using for half of the winter season. Read more Collapse

For this price you should not expect miracles from a tyre. Although they behave sensational on snow and mud. The worst part is rain and wet road, tyres lose traction when moving or on tight turns. I used them for a long time, and they have never let me down. If someone drives low and do not want to overpay, I definately recommend these tyres:) Read more Collapse

Tires at this price are quite good, I emphasize that these are some of the cheapest tyres on the market and I certainly prefer to buy new Chinese tyres and change them after two years than buy some 5 years old tyres for similar amount of money. The tyres performed better than the four-years Fulda, which cost more than two sets of Imperials. Read more Collapse

Unfortunately, I was tempted by the price and opinions of other users, but the reality is completely different. The tyre, especially on curves, has poor traction. The car floats as if there were no pressure in the tires and the traction control lights up too often. Saved money but greedy looses more and now I have to change for other one. Read more Collapse

Tire in dry conditions behaves correctly, it is not great, but somehow it is not very bad. the wet hard button to start without wheel spin. the snow must be very careful. after a light rain on the S8 at 215 km / h with the liquid cornering all 4 tires started to uslizgiwac. I do not recommend buying these tires, the quality is up for the price. We pay very little and very little certainty and safety get. Bury! Read more Collapse

I only bought 2 tires mounted on the front axle. Nokian on the back. The latter, when mounted on both axles were noisier, less comfortable, and - perhaps - just a little more precise on wet / slippery surfaces. But the price difference makes the Imperial unbeatable in the price / performance ratio. Read more Collapse
